The ending made me so mad that they forgave the villain, I would’ve never forgiven her after what she did in the beginning to Raya. They had too though, since the movie was about trust.
Yeah...It didnt feel like she did anything to earn their forgiveness. They just gave it too her, which might have been the point. They had to stop fighting and just learn to forgive and take the first step, even when it may feel impossible. But I totally get it. I didnt love how she didnt have to apologize or anything to ANY of them. Virana too! she;s the main one who caused all of this.
@@Slo426 Exactly! The definition of trust is: firm belief in the reliability, truth, or ability of someone or something. Someone could’ve proven themselves trustworthy, but only the person themselves can actually give that trust at the end of the day. It’s an unconditional thing because it’s always a choice. That’s why it was so important for Raya to have taken that leap of faith.
But she wasn't really a villain of the story to me. Or at least, she had her own reasons. She did what was told to her and what she thought was good for her tribe (like every other tribe at the time). And i've seen the misconception a lot of people make-that the movie is teaching you about forgiving those who hurt you in the past (which sometimes isn't possible and might even be bad for you, i agree) but to me, it was about learning how to trust again after your trust has been failed before. Otherwise you'd just close yourself up and it wouldn't really be good for you :( I understand why people think the message is forgiving those who hurt you though, the movie didn't really make it clear enough.
I literally BAWL like a baby everytime he throws her in the water. I know ID do it for my daughter. But this movie is the perfect blend of humor and full on sobbing moments I love it.

I tried watching Raya and The Last Dragon a month ago. I couldn't get into it although I might rewatch it. Awkafina is the voice of the dragon. I saw Cruella in theaters opening night. I loved it. I ended up buying it on Disney Plus. I have seen it 5 more times on Disney Plus.
THANK YOU FOR THIS!!! as cliche as this movie is, this is still one of my favorite disney movies because the southeast asia representation in this movie is so heartwarming to see :)
I watched this movie with my dad and it was so weird everytime they said Sisu, because in Finnish it kinda means determination. Sisu is a big part of Finnish national identity :)
Really enjoyed this billy can’t wait till the next movie reaction on Thursday and I can’t wait till Saturday for another MCU movie I really liked this movie it was awesome also #bingers school of rock
As a Southeast Asian, Raya was fantastic. However, Disney really dropped the ball by 1) not making it accessible to Southeast Asians, who would've come in droves to watch it, since it was limited only to Disney+ and 2) casting more East Asians than SEAsians in a movie specifically about SEAsians.
You're right...This movie had so many hilarious one-liners it was crazy! And the super big dude that was talking about mangoes was one of the REALEST characters in the film. FYI: I hated myself for darn near Viola Davis crying at the end. LOL!
Raya and The Last Dragon has its own flaws. I’m still very conflicted about the fact that Raya and her former friend have been able to reconcile so quickly towards the very end of the film, even though they had been mortal enemies ever since the incident tore apart their nation. The former friend hasn’t done anything to regain Raya’s trust back, and I find that undeserving of any type of forgiveness since let’s be honest around here…she has caused quite a lot of damage that drove Raya to restore everything in its original order once again. I think that part was way too rushed for me. And also, Raya hadn’t been able to venture out a lot more per se, that felt a little bit rushed too. Also I think the water dragon could’ve been voiced by a different Southeast Asian/Asian actor. I mean, I have nothing against Awkwafina here as a voice actress, but let’s just say that she sounds a bit annoying from time to time especially when she tells jokes here and there throughout the duration of the entire film. At least the little boy who is Raya’s companion is pretty good as a character in the film and so is the baby. Anyways, the graphics, the visuals are just amazingly outstanding especially towards the ending part where there’s this majestic rainbow overhead. And so I was like Oh My Gosh. Disney definitely took that into serious consideration. Maybe the water dragon could’ve been animated a bit more differently as well, and it’s clear that Disney hasn’t moved past like the googley eyes phase for any of their animated characters, really. Overall, Raya and the Last Dragon is phenomenal, although, like I said, she’s got her own minor blemishes on the surface. At least us Southeast Asians feel represented in movies like this more often than usual. So yeah. Thanks Disney. Gonna be watching more of your movies. They’ve been a part of my childhood since.
I feel like if it was a show instead of a movie, a lot of things could have been less rushed and more detailed and explained. Like the tribes, it would have been nice if we could have explored them and their culture a bit more! I still like the movie now though, all these flaws are minor to me and they don't stop me from enjoying the movie~
I think I watched this more than 7 times every time I get bored from UA-cam I watch your channel et rewatch my favorite movies reaction from you over and over

I love Raya and the Last Dragon, especially how gay the scene between Raya and Namaari is after they get destonified
*Two girls or two boys being friends*
Millennials and Gen Z people: tHeY'rE gAy
Oh come on, why you people making such a fuss with friendships between people with the same gender??!
Are you guys having romantic relationships with everyone you're friends with??😆
@@Mimi-bm6jo what if she is gay though? That's very much a possibility. Let the gays dream🧘🏿♂️🔥🔥
@@curtisnolin5195 There's no problem if she is lesbian, the annoying part is that you assume she is because she has a friend.
#bingers you should Luca next it’s a new Disney movie
Why was that the coolest sword I have ever seen.
Awkwafina was AMAZING in this movie! I love her in any role she plays.
Dramandra is part of my vocabulary now. Thank you🤝🤣❤️
Bro I love the armadillo he's like: eh huh:btw I actually have a armadillo and he looks like the one in this movie it's cute
Army 💜💜
True... However, she did say... "Maybe the world is broken BECAUSE you don't trust." Lol.
Otherwise you'd just close yourself up and it wouldn't really be good for you :(
I understand why people think the message is forgiving those who hurt you though, the movie didn't really make it clear enough.
Man, I watched this for the first time last night and bawled my eyes out at the end. Just so dang heart-warming! Definitely one of my faves now~
For me the most hilarious thing on these reactions is when he goes “daddy nooo” or “momma nooo”💪🏾😂
He watched that whole movie.. and STILL pronounced her name wrong at the end ajsjhsdh i cant haha
I literally BAWL like a baby everytime he throws her in the water. I know ID do it for my daughter. But this movie is the perfect blend of humor and full on sobbing moments I love it.
Awkwafina does Sisu’s voice! SHE NAILED IT!!!
Watched it when it came out in March and I loved it! It made me laugh, it made me cry, the animation was stunning and I loved the characters!
Hi Billy, I wanted to say you expired me so much in my life. Enjoy the reason I’m laughing till this day. Thank you so much you entertain me when I’m bored so thank you.😊
"More porridge papa"😂😂
6:30 "They broke it?" Sisu: "YOU BROKE IT?!"
Me: "You.... broke it?...."
Billy: The dragons?
Raya: The dragons...
Billy I had a feeling
LOL
the dragons voice is from the movie Jumanji the next level , the Chinese lady as Spencer
I actually love the fact that his nickname was "Tai the flower guy" I just love that I also love mango
THANK YOU FOR THIS!!! as cliche as this movie is, this is still one of my favorite disney movies because the southeast asia representation in this movie is so heartwarming to see :)
The person who voiced Sisu was Awkwafina. Shes a actress and comedian.
I LOVE THIS MOVIE!! Haha I was looking forward to it for months before it came out and it didn’t disappoint :)
Recently started watching your vids it's so fun to watch people's reactions and you're such a fun person to view great job man

The ending has me crying all over again 😭😭❤ and yes! This movie is so good!!
I watched this movie with my dad and it was so weird everytime they said Sisu, because in Finnish it kinda means determination. Sisu is a big part of Finnish national identity :)
This movie has already made it up to the top area of my favorite Disney movies, 100%
Your Name- the highest grossing anime film
Disney was like ✨sike thats the wrong numba✨
Ugh, seeing Raya’s dad again gets me every time! 🥺😭
Whenever you just deadpan "that is hilarious" even though you genuinely mean it is so funny to me for some reason 🤣🤣🤣
Really enjoyed this billy can’t wait till the next movie reaction on Thursday and I can’t wait till Saturday for another MCU movie I really liked this movie it was awesome also #bingers school of rock
It’s coming out this Thursday instead!
Yeah... do Cruella! That's one of my fav Disney live-actions
I am going to include drumandra into my everyday vocabulary. 😂😂😂😂
Also would you react to Luca? #bingers
*"Such a relatable Lion"*
As a Southeast Asian, Raya was fantastic. However, Disney really dropped the ball by 1) not making it accessible to Southeast Asians, who would've come in droves to watch it, since it was limited only to Disney+ and 2) casting more East Asians than SEAsians in a movie specifically about SEAsians.
You're right...This movie had so many hilarious one-liners it was crazy! And the super big dude that was talking about mangoes was one of the REALEST characters in the film. FYI: I hated myself for darn near Viola Davis crying at the end. LOL!
My sister in law made me watch this and no lie I shed a thug tear for BA 😢
#Bingers My Sister’s Keeper
It wasn’t a thug tear.
@@BillyBinges 🤣 it was just a single tear in the right eye
Dude I love your channel! Im crackin up over here!
@@notimportant1637 same here.
I think I watched this more than 7 times every time I get bored from UA-cam I watch your channel et rewatch my favorite movies reaction from you over and over
