My only problem with this film is it wasn't longer. An underrated gem. It's a shame they don't write movies for adults with the same feeling as Disney Pixar anymore
It was not rushed. The pacing is rather consistent, and I don't know what you were talking about when you talked about the "middle section": I don't see any problems there. Plus, this movie did have a mature theming. Also, their movies (including Pixar) are made for everyone, not exclusively for adults. Angelina I'm super grateful that after "84 Years" and just like _Moana_ and _Encanto_ you finally got to react and watch the long-awaited _Raya and the Last Dragon_ so thank you so much. Despite everyone's criticism on this movie, the film was alright and enjoyable, despite the film's problems stemming from the "message" of the movie, which is Trusting others and "Taking the First Step" which the majority seem very critical on, so I don't blame the majority of you who aren't a fan of the movie's message. Now while this film might not be the strongest and a huge favorite film of the "Disney Revival" Era compared to the other films like _Frozen, Tangled, Moana, Zootopia_ and _Encanto,_ I still enjoy it for the visuals, the soundtrack/score composed by James Newton Howard, and the vocal performances of the voice cast most particularly Awkwafina as Sisu. I also think that _Raya_ is perfect for a potential world/level in a future _Kingdom Hearts_ game and there are so many things that this film and _Kingdom Hearts_ have in common with each other besides the Dragon Gem and Raya being the "Princess of the land of Heart" is the theme "Trust", and throughout the film, the Tribes (Fang, Spine, Talon, Tail) distrusted one another and wanted to fight over for the Dragon Gem that the Land of Heart, and when the Dragon Gem broke this caused the return of the Druun which also greatly mirrored what happens in _χ_ and especially _Union χ_ when the Foretellers and the Dandelion Leaders (Ephemer, Skuld, Brain, Lauriam and Ventus) had distrust with one another leading to a catastrophic event: For χ, the Keyblade War and for Union χ, it's the Darknesses appearing and the destruction of the data Daybreak Town, which mirrors the Druun's return in Raya. In addition, Sora using the Power of Waking to revive his friends and later Kairi until he disappears for abusing that power in _Kingdom Hearts III_ mirrors what Sisu did when she used the power of the Dragon Gem from her siblings to vanquish the Druun and revive everyone (except the Dragons) but caused her to disappear. So Angelina from the bottom of my heart thank you so much for reacting to _Raya and the Last Dragon._ 🐉🐲 Hope you get to react to the following Disney and Pixar Animated movies on your channel like _Wreck-It Ralph, Frozen, Zootopia,_ _Cinderella, The Jungle Book, The Aristocats, Oliver & Company, Aladdin, Mulan, The Lion King, The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Atlantis, Lilo & Stitch, Treasure Planet, A Bugs Life, The Incredibles 1-2, Monster's University, Brave, Inside Out, Onward, Soul,_ and _Luca_ along with reactions to the 2008 _Star Wars: The Clone Wars_ film and its Subsequent TV series, DreamWorks' _Rise of the Guardians, Abominable,_ and _The Bad Guys_ (which the latter film does have Awkwafina in this film, if you love her as Sisu)
The theme of this movie is one of the most misunderstood aspects of the film: taking the first step to trust is really an underappreciated message that most people ignore. Honestly, it's a better movie than Encanto (not hating it, in fact, it's also a masterpiece).
Yeah it's underrated indeed I'm having a tad of trouble waiting for its adult or older kid merchandise to be on store shelves rather than just online, Sisu influences me and comforts me too.
First Moana, then Raya. If the Star Wars movies continue, you're well on your way to watching connecting all your reactions with Alan Tudyk voice acting.

My theories on why this film is so underrated right now: 1. It’s not a stereotypical princess musical. 2. It was released during Covid (however Druun are so symbolic for that reason.) 3. This is the kind of message our polarized socio-political climate does NOT want to hear. Of course that alone makes this message even more important, but there you have it; People being people. I love raya and the last dragon and thanks for reacting angelina🥰!! I love how the movie shows that we all can relate to it and that we all can come together and to trust each other for a peaceful world even if we struggle at first!! I feel that we can be like this movie, that we can change our ways and make life that’s living not just surviving and actually I think I might have a few ideas after watching this with my friends and family that if you want to, I’d be happy to share, and by the way, this movie makes me cry happy every time😊!! thanks so much for this fun magical movie and I hope you enjoy and have a fun day everyone!!
I remember when I was little, I dreamed of helping everyone have the best life they possibly could have, I was always so sunshine and rainbows, yet when the incident happened, I turned full on determined to help everyone and people pleased, I would feel the best at times, others I’d feel the worst, and I kept it all inside from my friends and family!! and when some of my friends and family members died, I grew to feel the love they each had and how we cherished each other and that helped me to make my plan!! we’ve always been so certain on getting rid of the negative things, is that we forgot to listen to each other and realize just who those things were for; they each have meanings to them and that’s how we can be harmonized together!! thanks everyone once again and have a magical time!!
hi everyone!!😊how’s it all going and what’s going on!? so today we wanted to share that our feelings and thoughts are intertwined together, in ourselves and through others and that we all share our survival instincts that help us make every single one of our decisions and actions happen, including conflict as a way to help protect and preserve ourselves from any outside forces!! think back to every encounter that you first had with a new person, did you feel safe and happy, or did you feel threatened and aggressive or others!? and that’s because we’re wired to treat everything new as potentially dangerous or harmful until we get to know it better and we become comfortable and confident with each other and ourselves!! and this can fall into many categories and different areas of our lives and society such as trust and respect and the importance of being able to communicate together!! because we have that driving force inside us that’s always saying, “get what you need, have what you want and can, and stay alive!”, and so on forth!! and with that that’s why we have trouble trusting and trying to understand others, not because of them, but it’s because of ourselves who’ve just may have been afraid to do so or that with all that we’ve seen as a result of the first and the other repeated experiences we’ve had with each other that causes us to assume and accept the things that might not be true; individual and personal experiences with societal and collective experiences have been conflicting because everyone has this survival instinct that, even when that best and biggest desire that we’ve wanted for so long, we forget to see that what brought that want was our need for each other and that that’s what we truly wanted; we’ve been in a cycle that goes like that: self awareness->new experience/encounter->flight/fight/freeze response->results from that response->determination of what now->repeat if necessary!! and so what if we told you that we’re trying to find ways to add and revise that cycle so that we can have the life we never knew we needed!! and we think that every individual has a unique one of their own and that they can create and share theirs too and speak their voices!! that’s all for now everyone and we shall see you soon and have a new and exciting fun time!!☺️
Raya: “My father blindly trusted people and ended up stone” Me: “Girl you blindly trusted someone and fucked everything up and caused your dad to become stone. " The audacity Raya had to blame her dad when she’s the one who messed up. Her one job was to protect the stone, and she revealed it’s location the first freaking person she met. She obviously did not get what her dad meant by communing with people. She somehow understood “reveal your secrets to strangers”.

not a great movie, the plot is rushing, trying to representative for each cultures here in south east Asia is making this plot thinner than typical Disney movie. the only good thing about this movie is action
Unfortunately we are in a time where nothing seems to damn people, who complain about everything, who cannot see this beautiful warrior because they are thinking about pure bullshit and a half, first of all if we talk about plagiarism and lack of originality, excuse me for saying so but no Disney movie is safe, Disney has plagiarized many times and has even stolen the Oscars, I can only say that there are some Disney movies that are some original discs but they turn out just the same be a plagiarism again I repeat. I HATE PEOPLE WHO CRITICIZE THIS FILM AH, BUT IT WASN'T THE CHARMING DOOL OR THE WISH ONE BECAUSE THERE THEY TALK WELL BUT THEY DON'T EVEN GIVE THIS BEAUTIFUL MOVIE A CHANCE. THE SAME HAPPENED WITH HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON AND EVEN THAT IN SEQUEL 2 HAS BEEN SUCCESSFUL. SO DON'T SAY STUPID.

Me: “Girl you blindly trusted someone and fucked everything up and caused your dad to become stone. "
The audacity Raya had to blame her dad when she’s the one who messed up. Her one job was to protect the stone, and she revealed it’s location the first freaking person she met. She obviously did not get what her dad meant by communing with people. She somehow understood “reveal your secrets to strangers”.
This is my favorite disney movie, I love your reaction!!
The sceptre wasn’t powered by the space stone (the tesseract) but by the mind stone.
I thank you are definitely right because they need to be friends with each other
The Infinity Stone in Loki's scepter isn't the Tesseract/Space Stone. It's actually the Mind Stone.
My friend made me watch that movie because it was his favourite Disney movie and I loved it and I stayed up all night thinking how I have not watched that movie before
Everyone turning to stone is probably one of the most emotional (recent) Disney moments to me.
our folklore have sang kelembai, he can make people turned into stone
Since the holidays are coming up I have a perfect movie for you. It's called "Happy Feet" it's a penguin musical movie.
Maaan this movie straight became my all time personal favourite movie suuuper Underrated ☹️

Angelina: nothing like cute kids to bring the villages together
Me watching: 💀
We need a sequel
The Disney formula: You like the parents in the first 5 minutes they have to die 😂
I'm not crying, you're crying.
My animation recommendation is to watch Lego Batman and Lego Movie 2 to continue on from when you watched the first one a while ago, you won't regret it!
Love this! and the tattoos...
PLEASE WATCH "A SILENT VOICE" its a Japanese Animated movie with the most beautiful of stories
For movie ideas: The Hunt for the Wilderpeople
I’m am so excited to see this movie 🎥
I liked this one, much better than just rehashing old movies through remakes.
A great movie, and I really hope it gets a spot in Kingdom Hearts.
Also, with Christmas coming, may I suggest you watch Rise of The Guardians? It’s also very underrated.
not a great movie, the plot is rushing, trying to representative for each cultures here in south east Asia is making this plot thinner than typical Disney movie. the only good thing about this movie is action
All the food but not s huge portions. I love it
I really really need to hear that thank you
Unfortunately we are in a time where nothing seems to damn people, who complain about everything, who cannot see this beautiful warrior because they are thinking about pure bullshit and a half, first of all if we talk about plagiarism and lack of originality, excuse me for saying so but no Disney movie is safe, Disney has plagiarized many times and has even stolen the Oscars, I can only say that there are some Disney movies that are some original discs but they turn out just the same be a plagiarism again I repeat.

The Grandma said she has skills even at her ages
Ok Idk why😂 but I found it very interesting u said she resembled katara, usually most(including myself) see a resemblance to Korra from LOK

Do like grasshoppers crickets locusts or bush crickets or katydids or mantis’s
Mind stone inside Loki's sceptre
Makes me cry every time
For my suggestion, pls do *Rango* next
Eventough this movie wasn't the greatest of its year (cause encanto was the best), it was nice one, with very unique style, a great animation (considering it was made when pandemic started) and hopeful messages: we gotta stop fighting against each other in senseless wars and not be greedy cause that will only lead us to the doom of our world
Will you be watching the Obi wan Kenobi series and Rogue one
