Tom Waddington was rowing in the Atlantic Ocean, off the Newfoundland coast, when he had some unexpected visitors surround his boat, according to Reuters.
When I was in the Navy I was sitting on a deck about 50 feet above sea and a humpback whale surfaced right next to the ship and his eye looked huge. I really think they believe ships are another species of fish. Dolphins would run in the wake too. I also saw thousands of flying fish. But I never saw this. Very cool and way to go...rowing for charity. Amazing. God bless you
