    Sounds like an interesting truck. I test drove one, but ended up purchasing a 2018 ram 6.7L.

    I purchased me a 2019 and love it a lot.. this 5L Cummins isn't as bad as they say. Thinking of putting some work on it in the near future 😎 great truck!

    The timing chain is not capable of handling that type of horse power....

      TeX Diesel Vidz he just hit 800hp recently with it. Time will tell what breaks and when, we look forward to learning what these trucks can handle.

    I’m assuming this engine has been deleted? Unfortunately Cummins pulled out so no more Cummins Titan.

      joenissan : I took a 2019 Nissan Titan XD with 5L Cummins Twin turbo for a test ride 2 days ago. Impressive!!

      Cummins did not pull out working with Nissan they were not selling enough 5.0 diesel trucks! They decided to not make them after 2019.

    I think that Dodge pushed Cummins to not renew the deal with Nissan. They nurfed the engine!

      What are you talking about lol . Nissan ENDED it with cummins . It was a shit sell and no reason to have a cummins when no one bought one . Dodge has nothing to do with cummins and their partnerships lol . Only thing dodge can have a say in is the 6.7 and all they can say is yes we still want it or no . Cummins don’t listen to shit dodge says

      @@strictlysidewaysusa Cummins discontinued the engine, thats why Nissan no longer offers it. It was originally going to go into the ram 1500 back when Nissan and Ram were going to co-develop the next titan/ram, but when Chrysler merged with Fiat th9se plans were cancelled and the Cummuns 5.0 was basically pushed on Nissan. Nissan did a terrible job at marketing the truck and under rated it so when people looked at the numbers it didnt look any better than a half ton, except ut really qas when it comes to towing. Better brakes, 3/4 ton frame, diffs etc and ut weighs 7,400lbs so it has the stability of a 3/4 ton but a better ride. It isnt a 3/4 ton but I've towed my food trailer with a tundra, an f150 and my titan xd and there is absolutely no comparison as far as stability, especially in cross winds, passing an 18 wheeler or being on a 2 lane road when an 18 wheeler is coming from the other direction. If you tow on the heavier side this truck is way better than any half ton. Nissan just did a lazy piss poor job at marketing this truck. Should have had a higher payload and beem rated for 14k because I have mo doubt it could safely tow that amount. Of course you could always take the rear axle and front hubs and springs from the NV3500 van which is 8 lug and it would really handle some weight. Before Nissan had this some Tiffin RVs and blue bird school busses had this engine.
