Passed my national registry skills testing last night and I just want to say these videos helped a lot. Even though I was taught all the skills in class, seeing someone actually go through the skill as if they were being tested helped me understand the skills so much more. Thank you for these great videos
I have go to give this guy credit, he is just darn good at theses skills. Thank you all of you for making these videos and putting them out here on UA-cam for free. But a big thanks to Mr. bold glasses dude for being so thorough with these skills.
awpatt interesting points ,if anyone else is searching for emt final study guide try Debuncar Medic Study Aid ( search on google ) ? Ive heard some incredible things about it and my friend got excellent results with it.
EMTprep I'm from Florida and finishing paramedic school with practical testing. These ha e really helped me just want to thanks. It seems as if here you are either a emt-b or a paramedic. My question is I see many ppl doing emt-i or advanced what's the difference?
with a triangle bandage, you have the ability to widen the swathe instead of it being just 2 inches, just unfolding it once will make the swathe so much more secure
Adding padding for comfort is an awesome idea. Keeping the knot on one side or the other is not a critical fail nor is it something that will truly make much difference. As long as it is tight and not causing any further discomfort, it should work fine on either side.
Does anyone outside of a volley squad or maybe Ski patrol actually use this in field? I worked at a Level 1 Trauma center in one of the busiest EMS cities in the nation and used this exact method 1 time on a child.
Hey Sydney, very sorry to hear that. Without seeing the evolution you performed it's hard for us to say what could have gone wrong. Were you able to retest the skill station that day?
Tyler Swayzer Tyler Swayzer I told my professor everything I did and he said he doesn’t understand what I did wrong at all lol I forgot to say I’m going to place the arm in a position of comfort but that’s not a critical fail

Was I the only one who caught the swathe's knot on wrong side of injury?I was taught to keep it away from injury & padding for comfort

Is it a broken collerbone
Thats good but better you guys give a list of all the equipments used in the procedure
Wait, it appears the right arm was being held, but he treated the left? Usually the patient is holding the damaged arm.
Do these 10 videos cover all skills pratical exam stations?
No bp rr? Consider neck injury/possible fall?
this is strictly joint immobilization, not a trauma assessment
Is this one always the shoulder?

No boards?
This skill or technique is Irish guidelines or American guidelines? But this is so great. I am very impressed.
Please tell me.
Hey Muhammad, these skill videos help prepare students for the NREMT exam which is in the United States.
@@Emtprep Thank u.
What if the CMS not present, what am I supposed to do?

Thanks Almas! Glad you're finding it helpful!
I hope if Arabic videos are available, this will be an excellent step
28 yr old playing on a playground? Lol
I thought the same thing! Had to laugh about it!
An uncanny lack of imagination. Could it be an adult chasing their kid on a playground, tripping and taking a bad fall? Perhaps.
I went in a call with a 39 y/o who broke their ankle on a slide.
Joint "familiarization"
she looks like she doesn’t trust him 🤣
Ciao io sono qui con voi riguardo O mandi adesso devo andare ciao

EMTprep it’s okay I wasn’t blaming the video in any way. I’m retesting the station today with my professor. Hopefully he can clear things up with me
