    I've passed all of my skills so far thanks to these videos, all that's left is long bone and joint immobilization and I'll be done! Then on to the NREMT

    These are great! I used these 2 years ago for EMT and now I'm in Paramedic school and these are great refeshers for our BLS skills check off before we move to ALS skills. Thanks again!

    Splinting has really changed, from 7 years ago but these videos are still helpful I’ve got my test in 2 days wish me luck

    I instruct at a facility in California and these are helpful videos to the Emr andxEmt for sure. All I can say is maybe be more consise on what are critical fails on the tests for some people but if they basically do this they should be good. Good work I know these help alot of students. 😉

    test's only four days away! super nervous but these videos are my favorite. Seeing the process over and over is an easier way to memorize the whole skill

    Assuming this is a radio-ulnar break, when tying the swathe, wouldn't you want to have it go over the wrist, rather than on top of the injury?

      I agree. The swathe is supposed to go over the humerus then across and over the sling and above the hand. Placing the swathe below the wrist tends to allow the swathe to work its way down and fall off the elbow later. In this video it would be best to lower the distal end of forearm some in the sling and run the swathe over.

      @@Emtprepaw, I just failed medical. I knew what I was doing, but I think they said something as far as skin condition goes that wasn't indicating shock but I misdiagnosed. But oh well' I'll redo it another time. Still not done studying though lol.

    You guys might do things differently. Cause I was taught to use 2 short padded boards and not to directly put it on the fracture. Bone fracture = joint - joint. Dislocation = bone - bone.

      Also can offset the knot so it's not in the center of the neck. That's easier than padding and works fine.

    If I'm passing the written practice exams with an average of 8 out of 10. Will I be well prepare for Registry in 3 months?

      Good question Caleb, we recommend studying a variety of sources to prepare for the exam. Make sure you're looking at your textbook, class notes, and EMTprep. Surround yourself with the material and you'll do great.
