What's the difference between "led is on", and "led is solid"?
We have a Keeprite furnace where the green led is always on with no flashing.
When we power off and back on, the led just glows green constantly. No flashes.
So is that 'solid', or 'on'?

It only runs with the top door off

Are you saying it only runs with the door open? Look for an obstruction in your fresh air pipe. Around here, small critters and birds love both pipes.
