wow that's funny 😄😆🤣
😂😂😂😆
From watching "Hotel Impossible" I learned the only sure fire way to get rid of bed bugs is to SUPERHEAT the premises...like 140 degrees, I think. You literally have to cook them. You can't spray or anything else them.
Wow, those floors were gorgeous! $200 definitely was not enough for repair!
I agree.... the judge should have awarded her the 425.00 which was a good deal...
The judge is cheap, don't you guys watch this show? She rarely awards people what they deserve, she's terrible!
Her problem with that was she didn’t have a estimate in writing.
Are they high off shrooms? Wtf
Didn't really pertain to the cases verdict, however, I am not sure if they really had bedbugs. They said they had a problem with them the whole year. I think they just threw that in to give extra bolster to their case.
You obviously have never had bedbugs. They never quite go away unless you move.
@@mymobilebuddy4392 I might not have had bedbugs, however, I would not live with them for a year and then complain. Experienced them in a motel and left immediately! My point was why stay somewhere for a year if the problem was persistent. My opinion only; you are welcome to yours.
Waitttt a minute!! ✋🛑So a text wasn’t good enough in this case?? 🤔🤔. She always wants to see it in writing and has even read texts from peoples phone but not today?? 😒
Lease is different from a loan, etc. Law requires lease to be in writing
Exactly !!!
A text counts as a verbal agreement. Verbal agreements for renting are just month to month. A lease has to be written and signed.
She's a bad judge.
They actually have to have signed the lease. That is the law.
Both young ladies give me the chills. They remind me of "shady girls" from movies that seem nice but are the real killers..lol
This Judge is never consistent in her rulings
It seemed like she used to be better. This past year, she's all over the map.
She's not a good judge (at all).
Laws change... Especially in NYC which is why he rulings change.
I think the judge would have ruled differently if it wasn't NYC. Trust me, NYC has a stick up the ass rules against landlords.
Short black bob lady is in the audience again. I swear this must be her job
👁
My old high school friend lives in LA and has been in the audience of a couple of court shows as an extra. It’s just like being in the audience at a game show. Sometimes there is a casting call, sometimes there are tickets you sign up for like the Jerry Springer talk show. So yes it could very well be her job.
I'm in love with her. WHAT A BABE!
There is a lot of “regulars”, they just get paid to sit in the audience.
@@citygirlingraham , who paying them?
9/10 they brought the bed bugs they look nasty 😂 their literally laughing
Bed bugs have zero to do with filth and being nasty. They don't thrive in those conditions like roaches and flies. They're just next to impossible to get rid of. Can live without a food source for a year and almost nothing kills them except heat and if you can dry them out.
these brought them
10/10
doug doug doug doug doug.....the shade is so good. some of these cases are straight up gold.
Plaintiffs are high as kite!!! Kids don't do drugs
They are. Look at her pupils🤦🏽♀️
Just say NO ... 😆😂🤣
They look awfully happy to have been getting bit by bed bugs.
Because they carry the bed bugs with them to every apartment they rent. They're used to getting bitten.
@@HighMaintenanceMinimalist Dang. I couldn't live like that. Some things we should never get used to.
Both plaintiffs are high on prescription pills or some other drugs but,I doubt it’s weed tho I knew they were going to win you can’t keep people’s security deposit 💵 especially when they only lived there for 2-3 days out of the entire month but,I have reason to believe that the defendant is a nice lady and that she wasn’t trying to take advantage of her tenants
The dirty smuts brought their own bed bugs into that apartment, by their own words. They moved into an empty apartment.
Landlord seems like a nice lady. Just a little misinformed and under prepared.
Sooo... I'm guessing they sleep in the same bed together. (not that there is anything wrong with that😁)
They go together I think
I get the same vibes & I have a pretty good radar if you know what I mean..😏
Defendant is obviously a very intelligent person and although she didn’t know the law , the two plaintiffs seemed just pretentious and disrespectful.
That one blonde-haired Plaintiff looks sort of like Maisie Williams from Game of Thrones.
Yes lol I was trying to pinpoint who she looked like lmao
The plaintiffs giving me DMT vibes...
Ya and they definitely done a 3way together
What's that?
@@kayekaye08 I was wondering the same thing lol
@@mychannel9403 agreed
@@bobberry1463 damn a 3way? That’s deep lol..
Plaintiffs giving off a Children of the Corn vibe 😳
creep af
The plaintiffs are into-the-stratosphere high. How do you show up to court like that??
Yes, I thought the same.
The plaintiffs look nasty as hell
Well I can say the landlord is articulate and respectable. She is calm and polite and speaks well. She was confident, clear and concise. No fluff, no exaggeration, no malice. But I get the verdict. The girls are young and of the generation where life breezes by and they use exaggerated speech like "psychological torment" for learning how to live as tenants in NY with their floaty croaking voices ...that's annoying. Some ppl
They probably brought in the bed bugs 😖💁🏻♀
"She took texts in once case but not this case. I just don't think thats right." Different state laws lady. As the judge kept explaining to you. Your in new york. They favor the tenant more than the landlord.
The plaintiffs look like characters from Twilight, they scare me ...
Diatomaceous Earth is crazy effective; you need the lightest dusting in any and all cracks - anything that tries to come through it, would be like walking through broken glass.
I'm a renter and haven't seen any bugs in ages.... But sprinkling some "in the corners" is not going to help a raging bed bug problem.
Sorry but these girls are lying about the bed bug problems cause if they moved and took all their clothes and mattress with them the bugs would travel with them . In fact bed bugs can get in to books and boxes like shoe boxes .... and if they had to throw every thing out they would have sued for their loss stuff !!
Plaintiffs seemed dusty asf
They on drugs???
I agree with the landlord in this one. Keep it consistent.
Wish law could be determined by CIA/Military/FBI trained in interrogation. They can SMELL, SEE, SENSE, HEAR, FEEL LIARS CONTINENTS AWAY..... PROOF IS OFTEN IN THE FACE!!!!
You should give the landlord a chance to remedy the problem.
There's bed bugs and the girls are moving and they're bringing their bed bugs with them.
They're in your furniture ladies
Two babies playing house - you don’t stay for a year with bugs……….
If there’s no carpet how could the place have bed bugs before they moved in? Just curious
Bedbugs can live in the baseboards but one of their favorite places is electrical outlets. Ppl always miss the outlets and end up having to treat again.
Also to add, EVERY lease since I’ve started renting (in 4 different states) has stated that I am responsible for treatment if I get bed bugs AND responsible if they spread to any other apartment. 🙄
That's crazy! I've rented in Missouri and Illinois and never had that in the lease. One apt had roaches in Illinois and the landlord paid for extermination
What states have u rented in if u don't mind me asking?
Missouri, texas, Virginia, Washington, And my friend who has in those plus NC and Colorado.
And Roaches are VERY different than Bed Bugs. It usually has its own addendum to sign.
@@HELLOkitty90210 crazy! Ya learn something new everyday. Bed bugs are so destructive I couldn't imagine being financially responsible for getting rid of them, cost my friend 5k and he still had to leave bc they weren't gone
I'll have to keep an eye out for that in Missouri I'd never wanna be responsible they're horrible
Do y’all really think Judge would have ruled differently if she had seen the texts though? I understand the principle but don’t think a text compares to a signed lease and as a landlord I’d rather return the money and go about my business if the notice was 28 days.
From what I got on it it was due to where they live (New York) is why the laws are what they are for landlords.
So how you move into an empty place that you loved with no issues but after you get furniture you have bed bugs. Either you thrifted, had it in storage or the company had an infestation
Shouldn't they be standing at the end of a hotel hallway someplace up north in Maine?
Hehehe!!!
🤣🤣🤣🤣 underrated comment!!
It is highly likely the bedbugs will travel with them on their belongings to their next apartment. Very difficult problem.
"most landlords suck" says the dude to Harvey. He is exactly right.
HMMMMMM THAT WAS A OK CASE NYC IS VERY LAXED W/ THEIR RENTAL SITUATIONS.......THE PLAINTIFFS NEED A BATH
She illegally kept their deposit and y’all are upset about them whispering. Forget that!! The apartment wasn’t left dirty, they paid their rent. It’s not like they owed her any money.
Fuc dat I wanna see pictures of the bed bug bites.😂😂
100% rubbing alcohol would of did the job. My friend has bed bugs but didn't know and I looked up a cheap home remedy and I saw the rubbing alcohol one about finding the highest alcohol content in rubbing alcohol. Put it in a spray bottle and spray everything
I wanted to smack those smug smirks off the plaintiffs faces. They seem ignorant, immature, entitled and oblivious. Judge Judy wouldn't have put up with their courtroom behaviors either. They still would have won the case due to the existing laws, but they have a lot of growing up to do.
Permethrin, y'all! Treats your beds, clothes, carpeting... That's if you can't get professional help that actually works, like the plaintiffs were claiming.
Space Academy, come get these two wayward cadets, these phony litigants!
She really let them slide with this one. 🤦🏾♀️ can’t watch her no more
I bet it’s because you’re seeing this as a race thing.
@@mychannel9403 you made it a “race thing” just because you assumed their race from their avatar. Hypocritical ...
U can tell the plaintiff’s are very immature! They probably wear cat ears and identify as cats! 😂😂
Agree with the defendant that the judge needs to be fair in her rulings. I see her pick and choose what she wants to uphold as evidence at times.
Everything she does is legit. There's no way she'd operate in a wrong manner when it's shown on TV.
The plaintiffs are conning liars!
Don’t let the Bedbugs bite 😂😂😂
I put my furniture in storage once and when I took it out i noticed bed bugs on the crease of the mattress,I saturated the mattress with rubbing alcohol several times and the bed bugs was gone,it was a new mattress I had to try something before throwing it away and it worked like a charm thank goodness 🙏🙏
The defendant has it all together while the plaintiffs are wishy-washy and all over the place.
True. Unfortunately, though, the law was not on the landlord's side.
Right,@@williamg8269 , she was caught unawares as were most of us. Not surprising that the New York residence laws are so matter-of-fact. An expensive learning experience.
Plaintiffs look like a malicious pair of goblins. Smirking and whispering to each other.
I think the landlord was in the right, very professional.
Bed bug infestation??
It wasn't bed bugs. It was crotch crabs....LOL
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
This is one i agree with.
Exactly!! Hehehe!!!
Bed bugs are a NIGHTMARE, thankfully I've never had them, and almost impossible to get rid of ounce you get a infestation. It seems that in a apartment building they spread easier due to community areas like laundry, lobby, sharing walls/ceilings, much shorter distances to travel on clothing to get to new apt and infest. I HOPE AND PREY I never have this issue. I felt HORRIBLE when my mother had them because I didn't want to physically go to her home 4 fear of getting them but thankfully she understood. I know, from my mom being clean, that if u get bed bugs it automatically means u keep a dirty home.
The plaintiffs probably brought the bedbugs with them when they moved in.
The plaintiffs look like they walk around in life figuring out how to scam and get free things 🤷🏻♀️
The one bed bug they saw probably was a roach 😂🤮
Those plaintiffs make me so uncomfortable. I feel like they are sneaky and feel they will be in jail for something soon enough. Just don’t feel good about them.
The person living there now watching lookin at their crib on here like wtf
Black landlord. I saw everything I need to know.
