I want to clarify one thing already: I know I said the word imitation when comparing to the Ultralight X but what I mean by that is an imitation of the shape and form. I think that many successful shapes are copied and that’s not a bad thing as long as a mouse can bring new ideas and features to the rest of the package, which the Beast X is most definitely doing.
If FinalBoy is to be believed, I got one of the 500+ ULX's with QC problems. I have an RMA in process, but it's still a bad look to say that amount of mice shipped with known issues. I also own the Beast X, just because of the QC issues with the ULX I'd recommend the Beast X over it, even if you don't take price into consideration. Really loving this thing, it gets even more playtime than my Viper Mini SE.
@@bradslice Mine had really bad flex/grinding all the way around the base. It was worst right where I rest my pinky, and just resting it there caused it to flex and grind. FinalBoy said they knowingly shipped 500 units with that issue, thinking people would rather have the mouse in hand than having to wait. They knew RMA's would be coming in, so they're rushing the RMA processing. Feels really crappy to be one of the 500.
@@DaveAlkema for the past few days ive been looking at getting a lighter mouse than the GPX Suprelite 2. I was considering the ULX at first for the longest time. Then I came across this gem on a local website. From what I can tell by looking at all of the reviews for both the ULX and the BeastX, the ULX just does not deliver interms of its build quality. Theres also a technical comparison someone did with the delay and all that. In which the BeastX is pretty much the same as the ULX interms of delay. I just got a beastX in hand now. This thing is really good, I really don't think the ULX at this point would be worth its price point when this thing exists.
I tried some new things for this video, I’m happy with some of them but in no way is this video a final form, let me know what you think about the B roll.
bought a ulx and quickly cancelled it. this mouse probably isnt the best, (finalmouse also def isnt either) but its cheaper and will actually ship and i wont be waiting 3 months for a mouse with QC issues
update, the battery life on this mouse even at 1khz is atrocious. its similar to my v2 pro at 8khz. there is no possible way you can sustainably use 4khz on this mouse, let alone the 8khz theyre supposedly adding.
If you look at 2:17 you can see the outline of the battery in the back of the mouse. The battery is color matched pink so it’s hard to tell but it is all the way in the back of the mouse.
My friend is offering me his starlight tenz pro M for $110, should i get that or the beast x? Only reason im seriously considering it is cuz I dont know how i feel about the low profile of these mice and hes including the infinity mice hump with it.
The beast X has the advantage on paper, lower weight, 4k polling. But the shape of the tenz pro is superior for me since I like the higher hump. Personally the difference in spec isn’t as noticeable to me vs the shape so I would go with the SL pro. Especially for $110
@@bradslice sweet thanks alot! I also have a viper v2 pro at home and i saw theres a way to print a base for the mod. Would just need to get the 4k dongle. I mean im getting a head of myself but there is that
The beast x clicks are light, they have a slight metallic sound at the end due to the magnesium shell. The ULX feels about the same but the clicks sound more muffled and deeper. Thinking about uploading mice ASMR to my second channel
Yes unfortunately you will probably have to use a windows PC to setup the mouse, after that I was able to use the mouse on my MacBook Air as configured
He does good work, he did have a slip up where he didn’t change the click debounce setting when using Xlat and didn’t notice or correct it but we’re all human. I would agree, even if the cost was the same I think I would recommend both of these mice equally. What QC issues did you have with your ULX?

Getting the black/blue one for Christmas and I can’t wait. My gpx sensor has been spinning out for the last couple of weeks
Nice production quality!

How long did it take to get it delivered to you? Mine got shipped today and I can't wait!
13 days from the date of order, but it sounds like my delivery was faster than most. It depends largely on pickup from the manufacturer in China.
been waiting for this before I buy mine and ask for a custom color lol
Still waiting for someone to open it so I can see if I can move the battery to the back of the mouse to bring more even weight in the mouse

What’s the game you were playing in the opening intro?
The Finals
bro the mini doesnt come with the cube sadly
:(
Why didn't you compare thr mouse clicks? From what I'm told the ULX clicks are lighter

SO FOR 4K IT LASTS 10+ HOURS FOR CONTINUE USE?
Yes I was able to get 10+ hours
I have just ordered it, how much time should I expect to get it? How much did it take for ya?

looks cool tbh :)

hows the battery life ?
It’s good, I wouldn’t say it’s better or worse that any other wireless mouse I own
I agree BeastX has perfect QC compared to ULX
