Amazing? Yes. But I think it is far from calling it his true power
there is Rune king thor of old age, where only few are stronger than him, which is arguable as they are more of a nature laws than characters.
@@MP-oj6zo Rune King Thor of old age? TF you talking about. Rune King Thor was never old. It was the Thor during his current comics.
@@gokijinRune King Thor showed up back in 2004. So that is quite old. Thor in the current comics is the All-father Thor.
@@romansionis2470 I'm aware. Thank you. It was in response to him saying there is a RKT from old age, but that isn't true. There's an Old Phoenix King Thor. But not an older Rune King Thor. RKT was the current Thor back in 2004 in Thor: Disassembled.
Thor chose to stay imprisoned; no mere cell could hold him. 💯🎉
An uru cell could.
@@RobouteGuilliman-M41He has effortlessly snapped uru with his bare hands before.
@@Abaroxa oh? When? Also remember this is not the real Thor; it's a watered down fake called "Ultimate" Thor. So tell me what issue this happened in.
@@RobouteGuilliman-M41 I don't remember which one exactly, but it was decades ago. Vidar was tied up with uru chains and Thor snapped them, just like that. If you Google it you should be able to find an image.
@@RobouteGuilliman-M41this is not a watered down fake, you just showed you fundamentally lack the understanding of what the new ultimate universe is lmao.
“He didn’t want to.” real
and they left the billion-dollar ship for the Asgardians to trash
I am sure something like that, would have an auto-pilot.
@@xxan84 assuming Tony recalls it before the Asgardians find it
If he was a traitor or bad guy. The hammer wouldn’t fly to him. Shouldn’t Thor notice that he’s probably stilll a good guy
Is that Thor or Jason Momoa in the thumbnail?
Ultimate thor
jason hemsworth
Jason Thormoa
It’s Thor after eating Jason Mamoa. 😂😂😂
Both
He just felt obligated to take Tony's kid home safe
Jesus Thor is just stacked. The man is all corded muscle
As Gamora pointed out in the movie. 😂
Even a sinew of his muscles are Multiverse level durable.
You realize it's a drawing, right?
@@marcd1981 You realize, I don’t care. The point still stands

Who asked?
Thor Reveals his real Strength? Lol, Where is it in this video? Lol, this is a very basic thing that Thor can do, where's his real strength? I think his real strength also can not withstand the clickbait smell of this video.
Doom opening with a Pink Floyd lyric will always be epic:)
Just nod if you can hear me 😂
I honestly, love the new Ultimate Universe and what it does to all the marvel characters 😁👍
It out class the old Ultimate Universe in a lot of ways.
Marvel and their desire to always one up DC and even themselves in giving their creations overly glorified names...
... "Ultimate" isn't all that ultimate anymore when there's more than one. Especially when it comes to an entire universe.
And half of what I saw here, while entertaining, made no sense at all.
Especially the part when Mr. brooding-honorably-in-his-cell suddenly decided to break out just because two strangers opened his door and kinda asked him to... and Thor almost immediately goes along with that and them.
@@robertmandl9326okay.
Bro, Thor didn't want to at first, warning them not to, but once doctor Doom had promised him that he would help him be unbranded a traitor (that's what the conversation was saying), then he decided to go with him
@@robertmandl9326 Dude, you need to pay more attention
@@BalenVanHalen001 That is very true that.
In comics Thor's hammer has the ability to transport or teleport
It does that in the first Thor movie in the mcu and I think the second as well and in the avengers movies
He can summon it from anywhere and it’ll break through any object or simply dodge it
@@DevilSlayer502Thor's hammer can't teleport in the movies. Only his axe could do that in the MCU.
@@romansionis2470 i wasn't talking about teleport i was talking about transport
Awesome artwork. Good to see something other than anime or manga art style, or weird non-proportional comics.
Agree
Weird bodies? Rob Liefeld has left the chat
Title: Thor reveals his real strength
What's in the vid: Thor doing Thor things
Video itself isn't bad in any way, it's just the issue that many people have mentioned, "this has nothing to do with or is nowhere near his true power" sort of thing, just a very thor thing to do
I like it when characters in Marvel think Thor is just a man with a hammer. He could have escaped the cell anytime. Sif laughs, thinking she can beat him.😂😂😂
0:00 Creampie in Runic?
Wish these were longer .
he went his entire existance without the hammer.he gets the hammer and he uses it all the time and when the hammer is gone, destroyed,or whatever else. he seems like he cant do anything anymore without the hammer. its become a double edge sword. one 1 hand he demolishes everyone with it or mostly everyone. and then without it its like the hundreds of years old he was training and fighting was just thrown out the window because of the hammer being a crutch.
The hammer acts as both conduit and key. With it anyone who wields the hammer becomes Thor. Yet Thor the man is still the God of Thunder. So while others may take the mantle and power alike, they become Thor in title and ability, though not the God Thor himself.
Basically, to wield the hammer is to have the power of Thor. Yet Thor is that power incarnate, with the hammer his symbol and largely unneeded, except as a shortcut to the power he already possesses.
@@xaniso6955 i get all that and i get its a way for him to focus his skills. but he became super lazy and dependant on the weapon from day one. only time he doesnt care if he has the hammer is when he goes into a wolverine like berserker rage then he shows his true power.
@@robertcouchin Remember I said when are able to wield the hammer, they become thor in mantle and power. They gain his title, though that title never really leaves him. This also accounts for what the hammer is to Thor. You see, and I didn't explain this super well because it is complicated: He IS still thor. Lowercase. In that he is still the God of Thunder. However, because Thor is both a title and who he is, the times he loses the hammer, he also loses a part of himself. I believe anyway. Like a part of his soul had been locked away. Honestly though, I've only looked into this a bit so I could be wrong.
That depends on the writer. Some like to portray him being so dependent on the hammer that he can't do much once it's gone. Many writers show that even if the hammer is destroyed or gone, Thor is still a powerful and trained fighter and can use most of his abilities without the hammer. Mostly the writers just show that the hammer getting destroyed only affects him mentally as he gets sad due to the destruction of something very precious to him, but they also show that he can still use his powers and skills without it. Lol some writers even show Thor purposely throwing his hammer aside and going into a fight with just his bare hands, to remind us all that even without the hammer he's still a millenia old God of strength.
@@xaniso6955The hammer doesn't really make anyone Thor tho. The enchantment says that they "shall possess the powers of Thor". Even then they usually get a fraction of his powers, and the actual Thor is shown to be significantly stronger.
Thor is the character's actual name, it doesn't make sense for it to be a title or mantle. Marvel only uses it as a title/mantle when they want to capitalise on Thor's name in order to promote some lesser known characters, like Jane Foster or Eric Masterson. In Eric's case, he was called Thor when he merged with the real Thor (similar to Eddie Brock and Venom), later the real Thor gets exiled and he asks Eric to take his identity and impersonate him so that Earth isn't left defenceless. Eric later goes on to have his own name i.e. Thunderstrike. Then on the other hand you have characters like Captain America or Beta Ray Bill who wield the hammer but don't take any mantle or title cuz they're already popular in their own right.
In most cases Thor losing his hammer has little effect on him. If it is destroyed then at most it affects him mentally. He gets sad but then he goes on to show that even without any hammer he's still the God of Thunder. It was in 2014 I think where they made a retcon and Thor losing his hammer not only affected him mentally but he also got physically weaker for some reason. But then again he became unworthy in that storyline so maybe it is different from him merely losing his hammer.
it seems Heimdall was still on his side
I love every time I see the original marvel Thor, then I look at the movies, and I really deslike how their adaptation has nothing to do with his comic version
if this were to ever be in a live action (god forbid) it crazy to realize that RDJ would be playing both characters
Dygo, shout out to you, you outdid yourself in this one bro.
Damn, the god of hammers strikes again.
What strength…. Marvel removed thors physical strength years ago…. What prison can hold Thor who is supposed to have near limitless physical strength. He. Is now the god of hammers
God of Hammers is pretty strong too.
Iron man and Dr doom is a peak team
What comic is this? The art is insane.
You are a very great comic dub, definitely subbing to you
I thought iron lad was just dr doom being funny
Name of the comic?
I am Chor.
Wtf was that intro
Ok, that was so bad a**. I felt like I was watching Thor for the first time
What comic is this from?
(I really wish videos like this would learn the simple and morally necessary act of crediting their sources.)
Maybe check the description?
@@dotslashbaunthy Yeah, I missed the Amazon link, but that's still not a proper reference. It's just an Amazon affiliate link to make a few cents from people who buy it. A proper source credit would simply list which comic and issue it came from. (The link is not that since it's a trade paperback, not the original issue.)
This did not reveal anything about his strength. Nice clicky title though.
3:25 - Thor spank Lady Sif buttocks with Mjolnir =p
With Mjolnir in hand, technically Asgard recognizes Thor as the True Leader. he doesn't need to prove himself, he is the King of Asgard. And ... maybe he should makes Lady Sif his concubine =p damn!
Why he kinda..
So what exactly happened for Thor to want out of the cell?
I didn't know Mjolnir could summon the Bifrost.. Or was it Heimdall who helped them out there..??
Mjolnir can open portals and facilitate travel between realms.
first think, thor will never help Dr doom, and he never hit lady sif....
It’s Reed Richards doom.
What timeline or comic series is this in?
Who is that woman?
Lady Sif
She is Mommy
alternative universe?
ultimate universe
Where does he reveal his real strength ?
Sif is supposed to be his wife.
Not only that, but she is referred to in Old Norse stories as golden-haired Sif.
To bad they dont add a click bait report button
This is trash for your title. Should have said boring story where there wakes up and picks up his hammer.
sorry man, i can't like this video. this has nothing to do with his real strength or his strength at all. really, he didn't even lift a finger. this video is mis-titiled
Mjolnir cant open a gate, Stormbreaker can…
Mcu thor 🤡
Fun Fact:Ironman and Dr. Doom are played both by Robert Downey Jr. in the Marvel franchise.
