Marvel and their desire to always one up DC and even themselves in giving their creations overly glorified names... ... "Ultimate" isn't all that ultimate anymore when there's more than one. Especially when it comes to an entire universe. And half of what I saw here, while entertaining, made no sense at all. Especially the part when Mr. brooding-honorably-in-his-cell suddenly decided to break out just because two strangers opened his door and kinda asked him to... and Thor almost immediately goes along with that and them.

Mostly the writers just show that the hammer getting destroyed only affects him mentally as he gets sad due to the destruction of something very precious to him, but they also show that he can still use his powers and skills without it. Lol some writers even show Thor purposely throwing his hammer aside and going into a fight with just his bare hands, to remind us all that even without the hammer he's still a millenia old God of strength.
