Install Banks Power Differential Cover: 2017 Ram 2500

Quick install video of a Banks Diff cover on a 2017 Ram 2500 Cummins. I use this for towing a travel trailer, so better oil flow, lower temps, plus drain and fill holes are a nice upgrade.
Update: I contacted Banks about the o-ring. I installed it wrong. They are sending me a new one to install and sent this video with install instructions: drive.google.com/file/d/1jDE9...

all you have to do whit the o ring gasket is dont pull it when installing it , instead push a little back and will fit perfect

I'm currently having the same issues with the o ring, glad to see I'm not the only one dealing with it. I just don't feel like after spending four hundred dollars on a product I should have to reinvent the wheel, plus their directions state to not cut it.

I contacted their customer support and they were great. They sent a new o-ring and a video showing how to install to not get the extra bunched up. Now that the weather is getting better, I am planning on pulling the cover and replacing with the new o-ring soon.

I didn't have the same luck with customer service, they just told me to not pull on the o-ring, which I wasn't doing. And I never received a video showing how to push the o-ring in, I ended up finding someone else's UA-cam video showing how they had to push the o-ring in. Installed it today on my F 350.

I’m currently waiting for the banks spacer kit for the rear sway bar , did you install those or just use factory spacers ?

The gasket fits, if you pull the gasket while pushing it in the pit, you're streching it.

Install it loosely every 3 inches, then 12 and 6 clockwise start pushing them in the pit until the whole gasket is installed evenly all around diff pan.
