In the drug world, there is a drug called Naltrexone, which is used for overdose of opiate drugs..
So it sounds like, why would I be using that drug?
Well, this is called LOW DOSE naltrexone.
So like with other drugs, there are different effects at high doses versus a low dose.
And if you look up low dose naltrexone, you’ll find a lot of information about its use in IMMUNE problems, autoimmunity and other things.
But also nowadays we see a lot more research in neurological problems and then also in cancer.
Low dose naltrexone, because it is a drug that’s used off label at a different dose strategy, literally a tiny fraction of the regular dose, does REQUIRE A PRACTITIONER to prescribe to you.
But its job really is helping to keep your immune system in a more BALANCED position,
So that it can react to you healing, it can react to you dealing with the immune needs of the care that you’re doing or even on the preventive side.

I’m a week or 2 into trying LDN for a number of chronic issues. First thing I noticed was the massive and immediate improvement to my sleep.
Been using since 2017 for IBD - remission! Amazing
I just saw a video where some Doctors are now prescribing low dose N. Towards people already on GLP-1 for 6+ minths, its called "stacking"(adding) other medicines to help lower blood sugar and lose weight for when GLP-1 slows down or stops working. Possibly people have undiagnosed autoimune diseases that contributes to obesity.
Interesting, will pass this along - Team Dr. A
Full video link?
obviously, someone cut this video off just as it was getting interesting - - - can anyone post the link to the complete video?
Thank U, if you can do that😊
I have RA does it work well for us
Yes
So what’s it good for in small doses? Mcas? Histamine intolerance? Leaky gut?
Yes to all those things
Naloxone is used for OD. Naltrexone is used for ETOH and Opiate addiction.
True, It's also the listed back up for settings where naloxone supply is depleted.
What about symptoms of gums bleeding And black stools. Sweet , do those symptoms go away with time. More research my doctor wants me to continue to take it even though i'm having these symptoms.
I took it just once and feel sick as ever and have insomnia. I'm supposed to be taking it with my SIBO treatment, but I don't think so with how bad just one time use was. It's ruining my vacation day.
Start lower dose
You need to insure that compounding pharmacy is using pure LDN. Lacto-based fillers in capsules are often the reason for adverse reactions. It happened to me. I also use cream but prefer capsules. Start at a lower dose. I take 4mg for Rheumatoid Disease and it saved my life. Also, although it's meant to be used in the evenings with Dr. Bihari's protocol, I find it best first thing in the morning.
Dude you are supposed to start with 1/50 of what they normally prescribe you won't feel sick. There's ways to compound it yourself
@@victrola2007 Ooo, good to know, thanks for sharing...
Unfortunately it didn’t work for me. I was prescribed it for high TPO thyroid antibodies. The pharmacist alerted me about having nightmares, but I had the strangest dream literally felt like someone drained the life out of me and no muscle strength. I guess it’s not for everyone.
Yikes, I tend to try & stay away from Pharma :(
Is ldn an option to treat chronic headache when other painkiller didn't work?
Can LDN reduce IgG4 antibodies?
Do not use if on prescribed opiates.
can i take with snri to come of them slowly?
Where can I get some please???
You'll have to discuss with your physician - Team Dr. A
It's an indirect effect by increasing endorphins
Can LDN be taken with Nortriptyline ?
I am currently taking both for FM/CFS pain.
@@catzenhouse what dose of each did you take. Did Naltrexone give youva headache?
