- Quality and Innovation. You can level the front and rear of your Dodge RAM 1500 4WD with the MotoFab 3.0 inch Front and 2 inch Rear Leveling Kit. You can trust that these spacers are high-performance and will not crack over time like welded spacers.
Durable Material. High-quality billet aluminum is used to manufacture these spacers that are CNC machined for a precision fit in your truck. They have a durable black powder coated finish that was made to match the factory suspension.
Basic Installation. You can complete this basic installation in approximately 2-1/2 to 3 hours with general hand tools and moderate mechanical knowledge. You will not need to take apart the strut and spacer when installing this kit.

I think you forgot one of the most important steps: the front control arms bushes are now under tensions when the car sits "level". You should jack the assembly up to the height where it would usually sit, then losen up the bolts so the rubber bushes relieve their tension. That will make them last longer and give a better ride.
You sir are killing it on instructional videos👍keep it up
Installed this on my 2021 4wd Big Horn. The rears were so easy, the fronts were a pita. Had to take a grinding wheel and shave off some of the stock strut and uca to get it to clear upon install. If I had to do it over again I would just get the RC struts up front and call it a day.
Looks like the perfect setup, love it!
Just got mines done yesterday on my 2022 Ram 1500 love it the stock tires are new so I'm wait till they ware out then hop on some 33's

Thanks for watching! -Zach
When you tighten the strut to LCA bolt the truck should be on the ground so the bushing is at it's neutral position otherwise it'll flex the rubber and prematurely damage it. I also wouldn't recommend any spacer kit without a redesigned UCA otherwise you risk the upper ball joint stud breaking.
Very good video.
Thank you for watching! -Zach
Nice job with video.
Thanks for watching! -Zach
Make it look so easy with a lift. Do it on the ground like the rest of us moops. But good tutorial 👌
You guys make it look so easy iv tryed to get that bottom bolt in on a 3 inch kit and failed both times but it gos rite in for you no problem I don’t get it
A lot of these install videos are missing a key point when lifting your truck this way; CV axle angle folks! CV axle binding is pretty much assured when off-roading and the axles wont last long . Either get a front diff drop kit or a pair of those Extended Travel CVs.
I got the outdoorsman model measured after putting the front on and would have 1” higher rear if I put the rear on
BRASS HAMMER CHIEF!
Yeah he chewed up that spindle
Ummm never done any of this lol. I’ve always just used a spring compressor and never messed with taking all this apart. 15min per corner. Once Uber it’s own weight again losses the joints and retighten them to relieve tension on the bushings.
Those werent factory ram control arm you took out, they were already the upgraded ones just probably worn out, factory doesnt use crown nuts, aftermarket does
Saw.that to
Same ones that came in my 2019
Never level without doing your ballpoints as it causes a new wear spot and wears them out fast learned that the hardway doing a level the same as this also wore out my cv axles as there not ment to have a negative angle opted for an actually 4 inch lift and heavy duty springs from tuff truck and haven't had an issue nor saggy ass when hauling
The 21 rebel is already 1" higher in the front. Will this fit the rebel with the 1" longer strut without a spring compressor?
Question? I'm looking to use this on a 2019 Ram. I want to upgrade the struts/shocks? What do you recommend for this kit?
Does this change the smooth ride of the truck once you level it
Good video, I had 2000 grand Cherokee I did same set up and had death wobble all the time. This may effect the natural dinamics and cause death wobble as well...
Aerodynamic changes from lift kits do not cause death wobble, incorrectly setup suspension geometry or worn suspension components cause it. 😉 If all you did to your Jeep was add spacers, the added lift paired with worn out ball joints, tie rod ends, control arm bushings, track bar, etc. most likely caused it. -Zach
Just did the driver wheel.. it only took me 8 hours 🥴 3 more wheels to go. Weeeee!
Tip for people reading. You're definitely going to have to loosen the alignment bolts and drop the lower control arm. Nothing was as easy as the video
Hi, does this kit works on a
2013 1500 2WD?
You happen to have torque specs for all this nuts and bolts ?
will i need to add wheel spacers to fit my 35x12.50R17 Tires on my stock wheels?
What do you suggest with Rams that have an air ride?
Will these rear lift spacers do anything besides make the ride harder if you have airbags in the rear springs. Airlift 1000hd to be exact?
I have a 2015 Ram 1500 Ecodiesel and I bought Wheels and Tires 20x12.5x33, do I need to use a mandatory lift kit?
Hey look somebody actually installed the studs properly lol.
Would this level is out completely looking flush all around or will the front be more raised then the back?
My lower control arm is touching against the steering arm, is carving when I turn. Is anything todo to fix this
What model are you talking about? I tried with my 2012 ram ST Q cab, upper bj's would not line up it was a carp show to instal So I have some crap I can't use.
That doesn't look like factory upper control arm. Do you have to change upper control arms to make the 3" lift work properly?
I would like to know before I do this to my 2015 RAM
I would definitely change upper control arms to Rough country or anything but stock, it binds your ball joints bad. The truth in this video doesn't have factory control arms.
Hey there I want to lift my ram 2022 1500 classic model, like 3” front and 2” rea.is this kit compatible with my pick up???
Will it fit for a 2017 ram 1500 rebel 4x4 with air suspension??
05:20 - to make it work you have to hit it though :D :D That was funny
I have a 2020 ram 1500 2wd no air ride will this kit work ?
guys I have a question: does Ram 1500 regular cab have same suspension as crew cab?
This kit looks like it keeps some rake which I don’t mind but you state level. Am I wrong ?
Question how do the cv shafts look after the 3 inch lift is on. Like at what angle r they I need answers befor I install anything or order
Pretty bad ngl.
What upper control arms would you recommend with this kit?
Rough country
Readylift 👍
how is this different from having a 2 inch lift?
If I want my 2018 ram express to sit level do you recommend the 2" or 2.5" leveling kit?
2.5
What’s something good like this for a rwd
Got to love how mechanic who do suspension hammer bolts
Does this fit on a 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 5.7 hemi 4wd quad cab
Question- In time will I need to replace other factory parts in my suspension frame or will they hold up to this kit in the long haul (not doing rough off road trails just back roads)?
Experience says will have more issues because of strut spacer
What upper control arms are on this truck? Not stock ones.
can i put any leveling kit on mine at all if it has air suspension?
Do you have any lift kits for a 2wd RAM 1500?
What would be your recommendation for high quality upper control arms?
Carli offers a great boxed uca. Run you about $900 bucks
I just installed a 3 inch spacer in the front of mine, but just last week I installed 1.5 inch spacers and when I turn to the right even slightly the front left tire shakes but doesn’t make any sound, any idea what it could be? Update, I had to get a new wheel because the lug nuts from the spacer came loose
I have a 21 4wd. I'm looking to buy this kit and add 35/12.5r20 ridge grapplers to the stock 20x9 black ram wheels. Will it work?
I too have a 21 4x4.
I just bought the kit and will be installing this week. I talked to the boys at discount tire and they said I should have no problem.
I did also buy 2in hubcentric spacers, mainly for just that extra separation, but also because the stance looks better.
Fits no rub under mine!
yes it will work
Hoped it worked out for you, I just have a 3 inch in front and stock 20s and it clears 35 12.5s
Would be WAY easier to just use spring compressors on the rear lol.
I had to use ratchet straps lol
someone make a list of tools needed pls... doing this 2morrow
Is it completely necessary to buy UCAs if I don't go off-road?
Speed bumps is the closest off road I will do. Perhaps occasional curb climb.
They'll help keep your ride smooth and your upper control arms at the appropriate angle! If you have room in your budget, I'd highly recommend them. -Zach
What is the wheel and tire combo? Looks great!
The wheels are XD Machete Satin Black 5-Lug Wheel in a 20x9! The tires are NITTO RidgeGrapplers in a 33x12.5R20s! -Zach

@@AmericanTrucksRam You clearly stated in the video 0:50 that the factory tires are 35s.
So what are the exact measurements of the aftermarket wheels and tires on this truck?
Also, did you guys replace the brake rotors? They look bigger in the video and fill up the wheels nicely.
@@mweezy I thought I heard 33’s
@@JonDomke Nope, they were 35s and I even had to go and watch the video once again!
... Or maybe you work for them and want to get me to re-watch the video one more time! I don't know bro! 😂
@@mweezy He might be commenting on the factory size that you indicated were 35s. The Factory tires in the video are the 33" on the 20x9 silver wheels. The aftermarket black wheels with the bigger meats are definitely 35" total, as indicated during the wheel turn part of the video. AmericanTrucks def replied with incorrect measurements in their comment.
Is this one fits on my 2022 rebel?
Question for you, I have RC level struts, just ordered 35x12.50x20. Will those clear with factory wheels without wheel spacers?
Negative, i have a RC 2 inch leve shocks and struts. 18inch wheels on 35x12.50 tires. Rubs at full turn, think about slapping my 1 inch spacer back with 2inch rear.
@@fantasticmike946 no rub at all with mine, factory wheels, no wheel spacers, with 35x12.50x20
Can you use this on 2WD?
So is there still some rake?
Would it be alright if everything is hand tighten? I don’t have an impact gun nor torque wrenches.
Take your vehicle to a professional. The fact you asked this is proof enough you should not attempt installing anything like this. (Not sarcasm, or trying to be rude but for your own and everyone else on the roads safety please go to a shop and do not attempt on your own)
Are there any kits for 19 classic 2wds???
What # for the 4 corner air suspension 🤔
i have a 2021, would this violate my drive train warranty?
I asked my dealer the same question and they said no
It says you used the Motofab 3" rear 2" front LEVELING kit. But on their site the only 3" by 2" I see is an actual LIFT kit... which one is it?
This is the leveling kit! Check it out here --> www.americantrucks.com/motofab-3-front-2-rear-leveling-kit-0918-4wd-ram-1500-excluding-mega-cab.html
Will 35” 12.5 r20 fit on this lift kit?
Does this kit work for 2022 4x4 1500 RAM??
Would this work on a 2019 ram rebel?
There specific to your truck. So yes this application would likely be available
Will this fit a 2022 ram 1500 ?
Will this work on 2wd
Will this work on a 2016 ram 2wd
No you need a different front leveling kit
Who has this installed and does your truck still drive comfortable?
Why is the bolt metric and the nut is sae?
How much would a shop charge to do this? Ball park range ?
500 ish for the front and an alignment
Esa camioneta no lleva muelles?
No, llevan resortes atras y enfrente
Las parrillas delanteras quedan trabajando mal con suplementos de 3". Habría que cambiarlas también para un trabajo profesional enserio.
Do you think 37's will fit this kind of leveling kit
Would you have to replace your upper control arms with this set up
Yes absolutely
Where can I get the control arms ?
Rough country
If your going to do that, ya might as well get the whole kit at rough country
That front shock doesn’t go in that easy that’s bullshit.
Back still sitting higher than the front or am I trippin??
That’s wasn’t stock upper control arms. !
I know if you beat the shit out of my knuckle and upper control arm and left those marks on there I’d be pissed
Just a couple light taps😂
Some persuasion if you will, lol. Thanks for watching!
I would never put those things on my truck if its not shocks and springs forget it.
Don't do it they squeak, spend the extra! do it right.
Why even use the 2" rear? When the 3" front will level the truck dead even? I have a 2" front and still have a 1" rake.
Lots of Reasons... some people like the factory rake, just want more clearance, Others want to run 35" tires but don't like to the "stuffed" look of just a front level kit and want a couple more inches of rear wheel well gap. Or they want something more than just a front level kit, but don't have the money for a full $2000 dollar lift kit, this is a cheap alternative to get some extra clearance.
Ok my question is a rams stock 2” higher In the rear end or only 1”
@@gamingceos4823 rams come from the factory with a 3" rake which means the rear is 3" higher then the front... so with a 2" level kit you still have a 1" rake
So if I did 3 front 3 back it be level?
@@deskie_hub5037 no the front end will still sit as stock compared to the back.
Example: a 5" lift kit comes with 5" front and a 3" rear... a 4" lift kit comes with 4" front and 2" rear
what is the cost of this install, great video. dont like this chanel, no questions answered
Those poor UCAs..
Loose the music to loud...and slower instructions bro
Still ain’t level should have done 3 in front and 1 in rear
Not totally level but that rake will be helpful with towing!
Your lack of proper torque specs is disturbing lol
Do not install this shit on your truck if you care about it
smashes the knuckle with a steel hammer. look at the damage you did lmao. These guy have no clue, too funny.
