I highly recommend NOT doing this (nor painting numbers onto the boat). The boat's material will degrade and decompose the fastest wherever you put chemicals like glues and paints. This is worst thing you can possibly do not only for degrading the lifespan of your boat, but also removing the oar backups to the motor? I would not board this boat.
