He was named after Steve's father, but shortly after Steve's death Terri changed it to Robert and turfed Bob out of the zoo :c Terri even frogmarched Steve's sister and her husband out of the zoo, and they had worked their years. It's really sad. Steve would be sad that none of the original Irwin family are allowed at the zoo, which also 'lost' several other workers who had been there years. Strange how things work out. Bob should never have gifted the zoo to Terri and Steve as a wedding gift, he lost the zoo and his grandkids aswell as Steve, that's a lot for an old man to deal with imho he deserved better. Btw bob has a book out, I am buying one to support him, Steve adored his father! ♥
Lara he was always called Robert. Stop spreading lies. And Steve’s Dad is horrible. He sent a present back Bindi sent to him. Steve would hate him if he knew how he treated his children.
6:11 "cup of teeeeee" so adorable lol. It's great seeing such a genuine family actually enjoying a vacation to the point where the show doubles as home videos.
He was very dangerous and very risky. I had a bad feeling he would pass from his wild life. I didn't like that he put his 3 month old next to a crocodiles mouth
@@gojivr369 lol I'm an adult and old enough to be your mom lol and all I said was this is a great family and Australia I never mentioned about but I always luv it there but the dad and kids are so risky and it made Steve lose his life. These things are so dangerous. Look how a snake bit on their son his face was bloody 😢 I'm just saying these things are dangerous and all these animals are wild and don't need to risk your life to show people .
I 100% agree with you. Remember when Terri was criticized for how she was raising Bindi and Bob after Steve passed away? She did an amazing job with these children! Raising them the way she did (camping in the wild for months at a time, taking them on adventures to far away places, teaching them about the wild, etc.) is awesome! I’m sure I’m not alone when I say that I wish I could have been raised like Bindi and Bob were. They turned out to be amazing human beings and are extremely smart. They are very lucky to have parents like Steve and Terri. There is nothing wrong about the way Terri raised the kids. Not one bit!
Bridgette Hill I grew up in the bush with my dad mostly, not hunting but we went camping alot and spelunking. I believe growing up around and within the wilderness is extremely healthy for a child’s mind, and lots of reading helps too. Kids love exploring, they have a natural curiosity. I idolised Steve as a kid, and i remember the day he passed away, when my parents told me about it. It’s people like him, Nigel Marvin, David Attenborough and Jane Goodall that should go down in history as heroes of the natural world.
I just feel really sad while watching this it’s especially tough on Robert because he has practically no memories of Steve it’s sad they grew up without him it really is
Yeah, it sucks big time. But at least there's some comfort in that his dad documented so much of his life on video that he can look back on. Obviously he'd prefer to have his real dad with him but I suppose it's better than a lot of kids who only have a single photograph if that.
Apparently when Bindi and Robert were growing up, every morning Terri would put on one of Steve's documentaries or episodes of the 'crocodile diaries' for them to watch. So even though Robert didn't physically have Steve with him growing up, he has the memories of him through everything that he has done and all the documentaries and shows.
Watching this video of Steve with his family, really saddens me but at the same time it encourages and inspires me as well. He had such passion and a heart for life and adventure, and was a true conservationist. We have never had such a well rounded and balanced celebrity / public figure ... that not only had our attention, but our trust and our hearts too! His children have a wonderful legacy to honor in the days to come, and I only pray that Terri will continue steve's works faithfully.
I'm three days older than Bindi. I was born on July 21 and she was born on July 24. When I was like 10 all I wanted was to be her best friend. Tbh I still do lol
god I love steve. he was such an enthusiastic person. he truly loved what he did, which hits home with me like anything. bless him for being able to do what he loved, and bless him for showing us things we might not have seen without him!!! so awesome!!!
And here we are, fixing to close out 2017 and move into 2018, and Steve still lives on in the hearts of us all. Just wait for the new show to air next year!
Absolutely love this guy he’s been my idol for a long time. I can’t believe I haven’t ever watched this documentary. Amazing to find new shows of his I’ve never had the opportunity to watch
The first time I watched Croc Hunter, L said "This SOB is going to die young". I loved everything he did after. never saw what happened to him coming. I just lost my wife to pneumonia right after she beat throat cancer, so I kind of feel the pain. God bless him and his family.
I'm glad he and his family got to see North America. A man like him would appreciate nature no matter the area. There was no better aussie cultural diplomat than him, us Americans loved him to bits.
Anyone watching in 2019? Would have loved to watch Robert and Steve's relationship grow and mature over the years. Seems to have been such a wonderful father! Miss the crocodile hunter :( ❤️
The Official Andy Saenz Hey, Andy. Not that it matters, but I think this is Spring, 2006. Robert looks at least 2 years old, here. He was born December, 2003. Poor Steve died in September, 2006.
You know he truly gives life to everything and he is so happy and positive. I don't blame her for not wanting to get married again. He just has this infectiousness about him that would be really hard not to be around and who could compete with that
As an American it makes me so happy to see how much Steve knew about American History, he was such a smart man who loved just about anything and everything, he is so missed
Mate me and the family used to get hyped with every show and new episode Steve irwin his family and crew put on R.I.P Steve'O greatest Australian television legend mate

I still feel so happy and sad at the same time seeing darling Steve with his family. Heh, one of the only times I saw Steve-o not wearing his trademark kahki gear here :b "you got the best jeans!" still informative as usual, it's fun watching the Irwin family do their thing, even the little moments.
I love how bob knew what kind of fur it was and he was only 2! What great parents they are to educate their children. RIP Steve, missed dearly
Like some kind of animal prodigy
Rachel T or maybe Terri told him
Pisces 😕
I love how sweet he was with Robert, and called him baby bob 💜😂

Ugh...I cry watching this. Steve didn’t deserve to go so soon. The Irwin’s had such an awesome dynamic.
There was something so captivating with how Steve talked and explained things. Amazing family. Crazy that Bindi has her own baby now.
Steve Irwin and Bob Ross should have got Nobel prizes
The problem is that they don't give it posthumously
Throw in Fred Rogers
Same with Mr. Roger, Bill Nye, Levar Burton, Alex Trebek, and Pat Summerall and John Madden
He did riight?
One of the most purest spirits, I've ever encountered had the pleasure to observe.
Steve will live forever in our hearts and minds.
His wife is AMAZING! That was so cute when she said, "I think YOU'VE got the best jeans!" ❤💪💪
It's so strange seeing him in regular clothes!
Ikr? It's like seeing an animal without their fur
Would be great to see regular clothes more often.
LifeOfAlyssa “Khaki is an attitude!”, that’s what the Irwins always say.
ikr?? where’s dem car keys??
Steve: hey family we should do a road trip
Family: yea!!
Steve: let's record it for everyone else to enjoy to!
God I love him
My boys loved Steve Irwin when they were little. One of them still has his Steve Irwin lunch box and the other dressed as him for Halloween at age 9.

It's a love hate relationship watching these. You love them but it's so sad knowing these are his final moments with his family.
