  • HOME INVASION, OUT NOW! - smarturl.it/StevenWilsonRAH
Steven Wilson, described by The Telegraph as ‘the most successful British musician most people have never heard of’ embarked on his hugely ambitious sold-out To The Bone world tour in 2018. Founder and frontman of adored outsider rock band Porcupine Tree; one half of Blackfield; a Grammy nominated back catalogue remixer for acts like Roxy Music, King Crimson and Tears for Fears, as well as a solo artist hugely respected for a series of visionary LPs, from 2008’s Insurgentes, to his bestselling album To The Bone. Home Invasion celebrates the very best from across his career so far, presented as a cinematic multi-media show with glorious visualisations and outstanding musicianship. This stunning concert film was captured on the final night of his three night sold out residency at the Royal Albert Hall, London in March 2018, concerts which were hailed by media and fans alike as among the very best shows of the year.
    Director - James Russell
    Producer - Andy Derbyshire

I've only recently discovered Steven and his music. I'm only in the beginning stages of exploring his catalog as a solo artist as well as Porcupine Tree. Since I found them a couple of weeks ago, I haven't stopped. He's truly an artist. I can't believe at 57 years old, I had never heard him or them before. I feel like I've been living under a rock or something. So far for me, he is the melody king. He writes some of the most beautiful melodies I've heard in a long time.

Porcupine Tree's songs are very much Prog-Metal mix with powerful riffs and incredible chord progressions. While SW solo albums are extremely meloncholic, subdues and highly evocative. You're alive at a time when virtually every piece of music ever recorded is accessible to you at the push of a button.
Clearly this is the best time to be alive if you're a music lover.

Saw this live on the tour in Belfast... I both love and hate it, as it is amazing and beautiful, but also a massive punch to the heart. 🙁

I was 15 when I first heard this song. Now I'm turning 20 next month and it saddens me to think about how fast time has gone by. Thank you Steven for bringing me back, just for a little while.

I got a VIP meet and greet ticket in 2013 and met steven, it was such a wonderful show. mesmerising feeling just soaking in the perfect mix. they ended the show with this song and as stoked as i was i kind of felt wounded as i walked alone back to my hostel room. i cried as i nestled into my bunk. i knew in the morning i had to call a friend and talk about things.

In my opinion, this is right up there as one of the best written and executed songs of all time. The sheer pain and raw emotion in this song is simply overwhelming. Such an incredibly beautiful song, and I am glad I chose to explore Steven Wilson’s work.
