Excellent days back then when we had total entertainment in a movie. This was when the whole family would get together and enjoy a film or program. Norman Wisdom was truly fantastic. Whatever he did, he gave his 100%. RIP.
Philip Locke - (Tall Teddy Boy in Cinema Fight) - THUNDERBALL (1965) Vargas “I think he got the point”. Not too sure but I think that’s fashion model Shakira Baksh (future Mrs Caine) the Hawaiian girl at the end?
1.20.06...I usually watch this next bit...and...at 1.25.27; that's William Roache, Coronation Street's Ken Barlow. Later that year, Dec 9th, 1960, he first appeared in the soap.......and stayed for 60 years.
Definitely portland, chesil beach in full view and also freshly quarried Portland stone ready to be shipped all over the world, Portland has changed a lot since then, Navy base no more, Bibby Stockholm in residence now!!!
I suppose if this were an American movie, Don Knotts would've played this part. But then it wouold've been actually funny, instead of just mildly amusing.
There is and always will be ONE Norman Wisdom.Comic genius.he even did his trademark trip up in front of the Queen when he was nighted.pure Class.
I was lucky enough to see him on stage in his later years and he is,was and always will be a hero of mine... A true Brit to be proud off.

Good comedy like our current Navy .
At 7.58, Oliver Reed as leather-jacket-wearing teddy-boy....in an uncredited role.
At 9.10 Michael Caine as sailor on right - uncredited.
Brilliant comedy actor
