god bless Norman wisdom R.I.P sir you have entertained all them years ago and still today you still entertain i love all your films you may be gone but your films will keep going for future generations to watch 2024 age 51 from uk
Norman Wisdom was a superb personality, singer, and actor of immense talent. A musician that is rarely found nowadays and will never be seen again. God bless you Norman.
You can see where Freddie Starr, Tommy Steele, Bradley Walsh and especially Lee Evans though he denies it copied Sir Norman Wisdom to become stars themselves, the guy really was pure entertainment and what we would call an influencer in todays world. Sir Norman Wisdom 1915-2010 R.I.P and many thanks.
Like all comic geniuses his timing was masterly norman wisdom what a legacy you have left all of us we will will never see the like ever again R. I. Sadly missed
Norman had a great singing voice which seems to be overlooked with his comedy acting. If he hadn't been an actor he could have been a singing star with that voice
A star in the true sense of the word! Norman had the extraordinary talent of twisting one's face into a smile, nay a guffaw, no matter how bad you felt. I urge you to read his autobiography, My Turn, ( Amazon)...you simply won't believe how a lad, from such lowly beginnings, could end up with the most infectious laugh in show business, bar none! Come to think of it, I only have to think of certain scenes in his films and a smile spreads across my aging face. For his other talent, check out his two stair 'falls' in the film 'The Early Bird', beginning and end.......as I said; a star!
God I miss this man, as kids he was always on telly, but they don't make them like this anymore, it's all sex and show body parts, which me weren't bought up to do😢
He did a sign ins in Croydon Allders High Street and was there as a kid and he was chatting up the ladies and laughing with them and we saw him in 1977 at the seaside of Blackpool, an all cast show along with Little and Large
I have the DVD, although I haven't watched it in years. Wisdom was pretty much an unknown quantity here in the States, although I've enjoyed his films here on YT. MINSKY'S was the last film appearance of Bert Lahr, the Cowardly Lion in THE WIZARD OF OZ, and the film was directed by Norman Lear, who died just a few days ago at 101!
Got the box set of Norman wisdom brilliant if iam feeling down I just put one of Norman's disc on iam in stickers. Never be another like him thankyou Norman and god bless you x
Pure comedy laughs per minute the late and great Mister Wisdom.

Norman Wisdom, legend, i seem to recall his singing voice being better as a kid.

@VisiRam-h7g wow so good to hear this and I never realised.

One of his funniest films
Norman had a great singing voice which seems to be overlooked with his comedy acting. If he hadn't been an actor he could have been a singing star with that voice
He could sing but norman probably thought he had no chance in the singing business so he did acting
@@aarondawson9990 I suppose he didn't have the height and the required looks for the stage at that time.
@@claireseyeviewonredbubble no idea what look they wanted back then but couldn't be much I think norman saw himself an actor and comedian
@@aarondawson9990 Well the camera wanted tall dark and handsome I expect. Standards for romantic attractiveness. He was more suited to a comic actor.
Great comedian Great character
Norm is a favourite of mine. Total daftness from back in the day.

I Had the Honour to shake his and he's wife's hands outside a record studio in Barnes ( London)...
What a pure gent from Kilburn
He did a sign ins in Croydon Allders High Street and was there as a kid and he was chatting up the ladies and laughing with them and we saw him in 1977 at the seaside of Blackpool, an all cast show along with Little and Large
Great comedy
Thank you 🙏 he was one of the greats
Norman is a one-man Three Stooges.
Dick Emery and Fenella Fielding at the party!
I think he said something about the rear...
Norman Wisdom was my father
😂😂😂😂😂
😆
Norman Wisdom actually made one good movie,The Night They Raided Minsky's, which is still around. There are a couple of excerpts on you tube

@aadamtx wow that’s interesting to know. What a great guy
I think the best Norman Wisdom film had to be The Early Bird. It’s in colour aswell.
