    You did it perfectly. Exactly how the directions describe. Also very good video clear voice and no crappy music in the background.😁

    I just bought one and attempted to use it to help my neighbor who's battery was dead. I fully charged the unit as soon as I received it. The first thing it did was show it wasn't hooked up correctly, but it was. It drained all the juice from the Gooloo Jumpstarter after 3 attempts to start his truck. Then the unit would not turn off. I'm glad that it worked for you. Mine did not. It's going back!

      Sorry, it didn't work for you. The only thing I can think of is, that you got a defective product, send it back and try out a new one.
      I'm sure you'll like this jumpstarter.
      Mine works fine and I keep it in the back of my SUV.
      Good Luck and Thanks For Sharing!

    Teach all drivers in the family how to use it. So easy. I know AAA is good to have when you got flats but these are awesome No waiting for AAA to come and jump your vehicle. I buy them for gifts. You can also help someone stranded without those long jumper cables and no worry screwing up your electrical in your vehicles. It’s no good have long cables without another vehicle to get the jump. Just my two cents.👍

    Those jump starters are great. I have one in each of my cars. I don't have to worry about being able to start the car. I was hoping to hear you say, "Let's cut this baby open."

    I have a jump starter in each vehicle, different brands including topic. Just need to check occasionally make sure they are charged. Definitely easier to use than cables, and don't need to find donor vehicle.

    • @WhipCityWrencher
      @WhipCityWrencher  3 роки тому +1

      Yep, I think it says to check the charge every 3 months.
      I have the cables also but yeah they can be a hassle, this is safer and easier.😊

      @@WhipCityWrencher some are not waterproof. I say just keep a plastic baggie or bread bag with your jumper. If it’s raining or snowing drop the jumper in the bag. Waterproofed

    • @arthursmith643

      Keep a baggie with your jumper. If it’s raining or snowing drop the jumper in the bag. Protected. I also use a bread bag when I change my oil. Loosen the oil filter. Once loosened place the baggie over the filter and unscrew. Oil filter drops right in the bread bag. No mess.

    How does it hold up in the cold? I'm up in Canada and my snowmobile battery keeps dying in the -45C weather. If i stick this in the back while i ride is it gonna die on me?

    • @WhipCityWrencher

      That's Cold Brrr!
      I think if you wrap it up well so that's it's somewhat insulated, it should hold up well.

    Thanks! This is a good value unit among the many, many now available. What's the charge time for the unit? Manufacturers are suspiciously coy about confirming this. I recon its 5 hours using the Gooloo transformer, from zero to full charge. Am I about right? Anyway, just keep it charged using the cigarette lighter socket in the vehicle so you're not caught out!

    • @WhipCityWrencher
      @WhipCityWrencher  Рік тому

      I don't recall exactly how long it took to charge the first time but I think you are probably correct. This jump starter has been in my truck for a year now ( it's garaged) and it only lost one light so it was still at 80% and it took about 45 mins to charge it to full. I keep mine in the back of my SUV. Great product to have with you and doesn't take up much space. I estimate even at 80% a person could jump-start 4 vehicles with no problem.

    Would this work for my motorcycle battery or would it be too powerful and ruin the smaller battery?

    • @WhipCityWrencher

      I just checked and it states that it's safe for motorcycles, click on the link and you'll see it in the description.www.amazon.com/dp/B092M62DG1?ref=myi_title_dp

    Great video. Looks like a great product. We have several battery packs around the shop and they are wonderful! However they are constantly used, charged up, and discharged.
    For my own personal car I carry old school jumper cables as I found those battery packs lost their charge overtime which degraded their battery pack to the point they wouldn't take a charge.
    Have to admit old school Cables would not start that dead dead dead battery.
    Thanks for the video!

    • @WhipCityWrencher
      @WhipCityWrencher  2 роки тому

      @@vickipackham7357 Funny you ask, because
      I have it in the back of my truck, the other day I checked it out because I had to make room for Christmas presents so I figure I would check it out, and all the lights lit up. It's been in there about 3 months now, if I remember I think I'll check it every 5 to 6 months. One thing I should also add is my truck is garaged and it doesn't get much below freezing most of the winter.
      Thanks for asking👍, remind me in spring and I'll see how it's doing😊

    • @WhipCityWrencher
      @WhipCityWrencher  2 роки тому +1

      It's a Good jump starter.
      As far as why her battery is going dead? Could be a lot of things, have you checked the alternator? How old is the battery? Bad ground? You could also have a parasitic drain when it's not running. Let us know if you find the problem.
