Instead of making your opinion based on a surface level information, you should try connecting to Brazillian people or even visiting our country to understand what makes our population great. E.G. Now im currently working as a freelancer and also studying architecture, which is a full time class. I wake up about 6 AM and go to sleep 1-3 am, depending on how much work i have to do. I'm just sad that most of brazilians are taught to work, not to improve their lives. That's why so many ppl do absurd work routine and still poor.

You guys should watch Part 2 at the link this channel provided. While it's amazing that ultimately he offered not only full-time employment, PTO, a pension, and a flight home to see his parents fully on the boss's dime, I just find it sad still that it takes a CEO having to be in the job with these people who work day in day out, not even employed as an employee but contractor, to realize how bad things are. Real leadership isn't staying at the top and just making solely organization-level decisions, it's still taking the time to do the same jobs as everyone else and learning about the real problems they face to improve the organization as a whole so that people actually want to work there forever. Imo, that's how it should be leadership-wise.

I couldn't go back to my country even once to visit my parents until I decided to come back (due to my "decreased of performance" caused by long covid, I got fired when I had 6 months left on my OPT. So, it was impossible for me to get another job in time, and I had to go back)
It was very challenging, specially because my mom became very ill in 2018 (main reason I decided to come back in 2022 was to be closer to her, her health now is horrible and doesn't look like she'll get any better).

I saw the title and my boss skills immediately kicked in.
Sends half of money home? Great worker? I knew I couldn’t ignore it. I offered him double the work so he could make back what he sent home
I was really nice too. I demanded he accept. At 1st he was saying no (I think he was being humble)
Anyway ever since my heroism he is a changed man. Although He said working 80 hours a week at my shop is hindering his sleep. I understand he’s excited but I told him sleep was vital.
I was kind enough to add a SECOND break to his schedule and now he also gets a lovely 6 minute nap everyday.

And im lucky that I deliver for the one company all these years now. But drivers driving for these big companies like DHL are slaves to them. They completely overload them every single day with work. The wages are rubbish and the work is slave labor. I know this from talking to these drivers. If they get delayed because like cattle were blocking the road, they have to report in, and they are told to take a photo of the problem to get the management to believe them. I wouldnt work for these transport companies if they trebeled what I earn today.

He should have never told his boss that he’s actually living with only half the income. 15 years ago, I used to be a consultant with temporary relocation in the US. They would give me a monthly tax free per diem of 4000 $ US, since I was on a one year assignment. I had coworkers in the same situation as mine who were proud to only need 1000 $ a month for shared accommodation and other expenditures. They sent the remaining 3000 $ to their family back home. Guess what? 3 years later, I’ve heard that they cut back the per diem to 1000 $ a month. One manager said: Well, if they can live with 1000 $, why should we give them 4000 $? Long story short: Don’t brag about how little income you need to live. This is not your boss business to know how you spend your earnings. Even if he looks friendly, he’s not your friend, let alone the CEO of the company, who is the last person you should share your family situation details with.

Dios Te Bendiga y Dios Bendiga a Todos los que estan leyendo esto! Deseo que tengan un hermoso dia! Buscad a Dios mientras Pueda Ser Hallado! Jesus Es El camino y El Unico Camino Hacia Dios y Regresa pronto!
A Dios Sea La Gloria Por Siempre Y Para Siempre, Amen!
