I saw the title and my boss skills immediately kicked in. Sends half of money home? Great worker? I knew I couldn’t ignore it. I offered him double the work so he could make back what he sent home I was really nice too. I demanded he accept. At 1st he was saying no (I think he was being humble) Anyway ever since my heroism he is a changed man. Although He said working 80 hours a week at my shop is hindering his sleep. I understand he’s excited but I told him sleep was vital. I was kind enough to add a SECOND break to his schedule and now he also gets a lovely 6 minute nap everyday.
I was born in India and went to Australia for higher studies (Masters) I got a part time job as a hand man $20 an hour in 2007 was a big money and the happiness I get when I send money back home to mummy is something different a sense of accomplishment. @JRG LOL CEO's are like Presidents these days. It is all controlled down to the nth degree. This CEO knows exactly how screwed Marcello is.........because he is the guy fucking him.
It's good to see higher leaders to see in this form.rarely many gets to see this, especially those who comes from abroad and has to put lot more for living and career development with working so hard and being loyal.
Even if so, it’s literally common sense to do so…you’re told at a young age to always be on your best behaviour when it comes to things like this…it’s like a wearing a suit to a wedding or being professional for a interview…it’s just 2nd nature
I mean, Marcelo could have been told that this was a documentary about his life as a delivery man, no need to disclose that the guy going with him is the ceo
In another video, the CEO offers him a full-time real job with DHL. He also offers an all expenses paid trip for Marcelo to visit his parents back in Brazil. Nothing too crazy compared to some other undercover bosses, although the full-time real job probably pays substantially more than the contract work too, and most undercover bosses are giving $10k or whatever to people that are already regular employees.
Great video, promote him, embrace him, encourage him, he'll make you proud. Ive been a self employed van delivery man for 26 years now. Im now coming on 61 yoa, and I'll stand by what I say, its one of the hardest stressful jobs you will ever do. And im lucky that I deliver for the one company all these years now. But drivers driving for these big companies like DHL are slaves to them. They completely overload them every single day with work. The wages are rubbish and the work is slave labor. I know this from talking to these drivers. If they get delayed because like cattle were blocking the road, they have to report in, and they are told to take a photo of the problem to get the management to believe them. I wouldnt work for these transport companies if they trebeled what I earn today.
I feel for you Marcel!! The entire state of Arizona is an "at will" state meaning that unless otherwise stated, each employee can be fired or quit on the spot without warning.
The boss is going undercover. The employee thinks some production company is making a documentary on workers or something hence cameras following them around.
He should have never told his boss that he’s actually living with only half the income. 15 years ago, I used to be a consultant with temporary relocation in the US. They would give me a monthly tax free per diem of 4000 $ US, since I was on a one year assignment. I had coworkers in the same situation as mine who were proud to only need 1000 $ a month for shared accommodation and other expenditures. They sent the remaining 3000 $ to their family back home. Guess what? 3 years later, I’ve heard that they cut back the per diem to 1000 $ a month. One manager said: Well, if they can live with 1000 $, why should we give them 4000 $? Long story short: Don’t brag about how little income you need to live. This is not your boss business to know how you spend your earnings. Even if he looks friendly, he’s not your friend, let alone the CEO of the company, who is the last person you should share your family situation details with.
and in 2025 video would go further from 3:00 like: Briliant, he is independent, he made it, we can now send him back so we can make more space for Starmer vip guests, briliant, absolutly Briliant, me so british me so enlighted
Promote him, embrace him, encourage him, he'll make you proud. And some day, Marcelo will be able to spread his wings and start his own business and make you more proud, because a good business man never forget his origins.

Sending half of his money and still is able to pay his bills? Not bad. I am a straight truck driver in Canada and all i can do with 100% of my earnings is to pay rent. Lucky for me my wife makes more money than me 😅
Live in a room inside a house shared with 5 guys and eat at a soup kitchen and you'll be able to. That's how anyone around here that works a job like that can have any money to spare.
Maybe you need to 'make sacrifices' like Boomers tell everyone they had to do when the average house price was just 10 years of the average wage, not 30 years. These days the sacrifices are more like living on instant noodles and sleeping standing up in a wardrobe in some crack den that you pay half your wage for, not eating nutritious home cooked meals made with groceries that are a small proportion of your wage and taking your lunch to work.
The boss dude did. But most delivery drivers don’t they are expected to make a crazy number of deliveries per hour and the buckle/unbuckling takes away precious time. It’s insane the standards they are expected to keep
A lot of couriers don't. Makes it faster to get in and out of out of vehicle. May not be safe or legal but people do what they've got to do to earn a wage.
I love how every undercover boss story starts with how great the employee is but we never hear what a piece of shit the CEO is who doesn't work that hard all day. And he gives a scholarship and looks like a hero.

Why did I cry watching this? This is my real story as a truck driver in USA with a family back in Uganda..You have to clear your current residential bills and make sure the people you left back home are all fine.
That's the story of many Africans and people from developing countries
Well you are a great guy. Not many Americans would sacrifice so much for their families. You will be rewarded, in this life or the next.
never give up bro
Stay strong 💪
😢 a truly touching story. A guy like that deserves a permanent job. Well done boss😊🎉
The boss did nothing....
Nope..they voted for brexit cos they say people like this is taking jobs away from locals..
Thought at the end he might be so impressed he'd put him on the company payroll.
Good on you Phil...... Always a gentleman and always taking care of your staff. One in a million!!!!
going to a whole other country just for the purpose of supporting your mother and father back home is one of the most selfless acts someone can make. Everyone brave enough to do that deserves every bit of success they chase after
This boss filing like he care to much about he’s workers 😂😂😂😂
I'm pretty sure the president or whatever his title is knows that DHL employs all kinds of contractors. That's how these companies work
That's how Amazon works too, the delivery drivers are contracted and technically not part of the company.
Shoutout to the undercover & invisible camera man too 👏👏
I saw the title and my boss skills immediately kicked in.
Sends half of money home? Great worker? I knew I couldn’t ignore it. I offered him double the work so he could make back what he sent home
I was really nice too. I demanded he accept. At 1st he was saying no (I think he was being humble)
Anyway ever since my heroism he is a changed man. Although He said working 80 hours a week at my shop is hindering his sleep. I understand he’s excited but I told him sleep was vital.
I was kind enough to add a SECOND break to his schedule and now he also gets a lovely 6 minute nap everyday.
I was born in India and went to Australia for higher studies (Masters)
I got a part time job as a hand man $20 an hour in 2007 was a big money and the happiness I get when I send money back home to mummy is something different a sense of accomplishment.
I now live in the UK married and settled and I send money home every month in fact that's the first outgoing as soon as salary is credited.

Nobody talking about Invisible Cameraman following them outside car 😂
He is special. In Dubai there are thousands of similar "special people" - from Philippines, Uganda, Kenja, India, Bangladesh, Pakistan - and families back home being supported. Marcelo is part of a unique group of people.
I was working in parcel delivery too, had to do like 150-200 parcels per day. Started getting hip pain on one side from jumping out from the van everytime.
That's a lot of packages, how did you manage?
Tough shit
Respect to this guy.
Courier work can get crazy
Employ him permanently
“You know sometimes I dream about steps” 😂😂😂
Family finds out he keeps half the money for himself
The cameraman has mastered the art of being invisible
I always wonder how are the employees not baffled why the new guy has a camera crew with him all the time.
They're being told a good story why that is but you only find out about this when you watch a full episode.
@@spinalcrackerbox ah, I never knew that, but this has been going for years, I'm pretty sure most people have heard of the show by now.
@JRG LOL CEO's are like Presidents these days. It is all controlled down to the nth degree. This CEO knows exactly how screwed Marcello is.........because he is the guy fucking him.
This is the kind of story I like to hear. Great work getting what he deserves 🎉
what are you on about? Marcelo didn't get ANYTHING from the DHL ceo. it's all empty words?
> undercover boss
> camerman everywhere
It's good to see higher leaders to see in this form.rarely many gets to see this, especially those who comes from abroad and has to put lot more for living and career development with working so hard and being loyal.
With all the camera and video taken during this trip, definitely the employees behave well..
Even if so, it’s literally common sense to do so…you’re told at a young age to always be on your best behaviour when it comes to things like this…it’s like a wearing a suit to a wedding or being professional for a interview…it’s just 2nd nature
I wish him and his family the very best.
How is this undercover when the camera angles clearly have a camera man.
I mean, Marcelo could have been told that this was a documentary about his life as a delivery man, no need to disclose that the guy going with him is the ceo
Thank you.... kindness will always be returned... Karma❤
Marvellous, put your seat belt on, PLEASE!
I'm impressed how they knock on door and hand packages in the UK. In the US, they just throw my packages across the driveway 😂
Of course, they find the best person to film. I can confirm they do the same like US in Germany

Great job with the camera person being invisible that too from that close ! 😉 😂
“Sometimes I dream about steps, you know?” 😂
Great video, promote him, embrace him, encourage him, he'll make you proud. And some day, Marcelo will be able to spread his wings and start his own business and make you more proud, because a good business man never forget his origins, investment is the key to sustaining your financial longevity, I pray that anyone who reads this will be successful in life too 🙏🙏🙏
Amen, Starting early is the best way of getting ahead to build wealth, investing remains a priority. I learnt from my last year's experience, i am able to build a suitable life because I invested early ahead this time
yeah investment is the key to sustaining your financial longevity but venturing into any legitimate Investment without a proper guidance of an expert can lead to a great loss too
exactly! That's my major concern and what kind of profitable business or investment can someone do with the current rise in economic downturn
Hello, nice comments here, please what exactly kind of investment are you talking about here, I'm really interested too
Obviously these investment requires much cash and concentration to start?
Boss finds out employee skipped seatbelts when driving, pays for police fine.
When I worked for Dhl I was booking it everywhere. It was insane. No slow pace, no breaks, just go go go.
I thought the boss was gonna hire him as a real employee and give him a high salary but apparently he didn't
Whatsthe last lime
Sometimes he dream about steps 😅 I feel that
Marcelo didn't notice cameras.....
This is literally the alr peace out bro dude from TikTok
I feel for you Marcel!! The entire state of Arizona is an "at will" state meaning that unless otherwise stated, each employee can be fired or quit on the spot without warning.
With jobs like that you make it a habit to also quit without a notice.
That's most jobs anywhere with no union.
@@nunnayrbznz3576 Maybe in the USA. In developed countries there are more protections for workers, even without unions.
Worker's rights are non-existent in America. Labour protections are much better in Europe.
Gives a whole new meaning to "fire at will"
It cannot be undercover if the camera is always around....
The boss is going undercover. The employee thinks some production company is making a documentary on workers or something hence cameras following them around.
@@jena.alexia ah! that's why. thanks. It was my first time watching "undercover boss". I always watch Cesar Milan 🙂

So frustrated here! What happened with This Employee?? Did the Boss Help him?? Where's the Rest Of This story???
Exactly, even I was waiting for that
It would be great if they did a follow up to all of the stories, where are they now.
Halved his wage because he was obviously overpaid if he could afford to do that and still survive.

Am i the only one who was waiting to see how the boss is gonna make that guy happy in the end??
"I parcel every two minutes" is he superman
Sending half of his money and still is able to pay his bills? Not bad. I am a straight truck driver in Canada and all i can do with 100% of my earnings is to pay rent. Lucky for me my wife makes more money than me 😅
I'm Canadian too and don't know foreign workers have any money left to send home
I love how neither of them wears a seatbelt
The boss dude did. But most delivery drivers don’t they are expected to make a crazy number of deliveries per hour and the buckle/unbuckling takes away precious time. It’s insane the standards they are expected to keep
@@dragonlady3278 later yes but in the first minute or two, the boss doesn't wear it he just holds it in his hand
