That has to be one of the most unique natural arches I have ever seen. Love the way you filmed the “reveal” move back through. It and the entire area is just stunning! Beautifully captured. Thanks for bushwhacking your way there to share with us, Tristan! I am in awe of this place!!

Levi Brinkley and Dave Dunbar were friends of mine among those who died on Storm King Mountain that horrible day in 1994, almost exactly thirty years to the day that I found this video. In a few short weeks I will be returning to Bozeman for my fourth trip to that town to deliver my second (and last)-born to join his sister as Bobcats at MSU. We plan to travel and camp there and back with a group of friends who all know and loved Levi, and I now hope we can all visit the memorial of his crew leader on the way back, as well as Levi's memorial in Burns Oregon. Thank you for posting this video in time to learn of such a beautiful place, and for stopping to regard Don Mackey's memorial. Also, in researching this site, I discovered Corvallis Montana is nearby: I grew up in Corvallis Oregon, and never knew there was another place that shared this name. Thank you again.

Ah, the wonders of the electronic age! You beat me to it, which is good because I didn't know the actual reset procedure; but, I was going to offer the opinion that the issue was likely a simple matter of a reset code not being entered by the person performing the last oil change since it was done so recently.

you really delivered on this one Tristan, beautiful place. great hike (brutal as it looked). great cinematography and what an arch. the sheer scale and improbability of such a thin slice of an arch to survive until the day you could hike up to it and see it in person.
Its alway disconcerting when you see a warning light come on in the middle of a long trip, but you did leave us with a cliff hanger there,

Yes, Hondas, cars and scooters, just count the miles from the last time the oil change light was reset. In Honda cars there is a misleading "oil life" percentage but that is just a calculation of miles driven since the last reset, not a true measure of the condition or level of the oil.

Wow! What an amazing and dangerous hike!! I would not have done that alone! But what you shared is truly beautiful !! I’m glad that arch is where it is!! Safe from the horrible hands of humans who think they should conquer everything they see! But that was incredible!! I’m saving this video because It’s so beautiful, thank you for taking the risk to share it!! The arch and scenery is stunning!! I hope you got yourself a warm room and good meal for that hike!

Great drone shot flying through the arch looking down valley... that was some sucky bushwhack and talus-slog, but worth it. Spectacular arch, a true wonder of nature.

Stunningly beautiful country. That arch is dramatic. One thing that must never be done, is climb that arch. I'm surprised you even suggested that could be done. Reminds me of the climber P..... who climbed delicate arch in Arches N P in Utah, and the furore that caused !

Yep, because it's illegal to climb arches in Arches NP. It's not here. There are plenty of arches outside of Arches NP that get climbed regularly.
