An Electric Scooter under $300 that's actually good!

- Kugoo electric scooters are becoming more popular and with this new model, the Kugoo Kirin S1, they’ve simultaneously introduced their new electric scooter sub-brand, Kirin. The S1 is one of the best sub $300 e-scooter with just a few small flaws. Got it from: bit.ly/Kugoo-Kirin-S1
To summarize, this scooter is fun to ride, durable and affordable, as it’s often just below 300 dollars and therefore a good choice if this will be your first electric scooter. The downsides are the display, that is hard to read in direct sunlight, the app that feels a bit redundant, stem is a bit bulky and twists while being folded, which makes it more difficult to carry it around compared to other electric scooters. But, once again, for price, I don’t see it as a big dealbreaker.
One of the biggest improvements for this electric scooter is the folding mechanism. It’s now super easy and smooth to fold the electric scooter in just matters of seconds. Another big improvement is the steering wheel. It looks a lot better, premium and mature compared to its predecessor, the Kugoo S1.
Interestingly, the motor is not found in the front wheel, but rear. This is something very uncommon, but I kinda understand and see why. This way, cables are not exposed resulting less issues I issues I assume where people hook the cables by accident and break their scooter.

does it do well with minor offroad, like non asphalt with holes. does the e break have progressing breaking? like the more you hold the left e break, the more it breaks, or is it just full power right off the bat. And which one would you choose between kugoo es2 and kugoo kirin s1?

How is the range in eco mode? 17 as mentioned in the video is quite far from 25km.

Hey man. Nice review. Zeg nu een jaar later zou je deze nog steeds aanbevelen? Ben er sterk aan aant denken om er 2 aan te schaffen voor mij en 't vrouwtje, maar 't aanbod is zo groot. Hoe zit het met het gerammel waar je in sommige vids van hoort? Alvast thnks man
FYI: Geekbuying (link in video description) has it for 270 euro, while you can (currently) get it for 235 euro from the "official" Kugoo store on AliExpress (sent from Poland, so no import taxes when ordering from within the EU).

Scooter is good but body material in not good. after buying within 2 days it makes bad sound when i ride upon rough road. after 10 days back mud ghat has broke without accident. the plastic material is not good. now i can not use it. at all scooter is good but it will suffer to u. can not make comfortable.

Now here's a real review.
If you've never had a scooter before and want to see if ud like it, this may be a good toy to have, play around, not care too much if its stolen even.
It's made of cheap plastic, not durable at all. Because the wheel is made of plastic too just pray the road doesn't have a single uneven stone. It's so bumpy it ruins the experience.
The break system is somewhat dangerous, unreliable and inconsistent.
Due to normal usage, mine has suffered damage in the front wheel, which is now bend towards the frame and can't be fixed.
In retrospective, i wish I would've invested just a hundred quid more and get a proper one.
You got scammed because my electric scooter costed 150 dollars it folds and goes the same speed as yours

The scooter is NOT available to the U.S. Thumbs this low-quality stuff down. When it comes out of a box with yellow packaging tape, it's straight from China
