@@stormberg008 I think that's because the US leagues are designed to foster intense loyalty in fans. Because if the fans don't give a fuck what's the point. The fan's just superimpose that loyalty on the players not thinking that it's not the same.

I actually think they got burned out of playing CS and winning "almost" everything. Astralis were playing in a league of their own last year, and part of that success had to be constant grinding and non stop intensity.
Mate, I don't think ALEX has a 1000 to spare for you right now. He's got all his funds tied up in a necromancy research project focused on finding out how ZywOo was able to raise Rpk's career from the dead.
I’m in the worst spot cuz I’m a MiBr fan but I also love Thooorin. Personally the vocal minority of MiBr fans pisses me off to no end and is quite frankly embarrassing. I also think Taco as of recent has been the best player for the team and I hope they can rebuild to be the passionate cs team I fell in love with 4-5 years ago.
There's nothing wrong with that. As a Brazilian, I support 99% of Brazilian teams. Thorin isn't a hater, when he's serious. He is a guy who knows a lot about the game. When he's not serious, you should not take what he says seriously. I really think Thorin is the most reasonable analyst. He has nothing holding him back.
Caio Oliveira I totally agree I’ve been watching thooorin and Richard Lewis for years now and I have a mad amount of respect for them for the work they do and how they contribute to the community. I only said that because I love them as people in the csgo community so much even though the community hasn’t always treated them with the same amount of respect. Especially MiBr, it truly breaks my heart that they’ve treated Thooorin and Richard Lewis so poorly. I’m saying I’m in a tough spot because I don’t agree with how MiBr has been treating situations ethically and professionally and now I’m starting to wonder who my favorite team would be if it wasn’t MiBr. It has nothing to do with how bad the past few years has been in terms of tournament results I’ve always supported them even when they are in a slump. As a guy from NA I have also always supported all the NA teams but I’m not one to bandwagon on Liquid especially since I wasn’t a major fan of them when they were in hard times but I also don’t have any NA teams that I really connect with (especially with some of the rebrands like complexity and NRG). So I hope MiBr turn it around because if not it’s gonna be hard for me to watch tournaments like I used to where I would be excited to root for my favorite team and the pressure would permeate through the screen.
@@fusionWTTC Well, this problem is actually more about their fanbase than actually mibr. I'm pretty sure all of them respect Thorin, specially because he's different in person than on twitter. On twitter, he's on his banter persona. Even NBK said that. But I can assure you, all of these guys have a lot of respect for him (except maybe cold). FalleN has I think 2 videos with Thorin at beginning of the year, after the disaster of 2018 and a lot criticism by thorin. And FalleN's okay with it. I'd say to you don't change your mind cause of their braindead fans. Every team has them. The real thing is that, since Brazil is big, obviously it would have more fans. Plus, as much as Brazilians hate when someone says it, we are a third world country with a lot of issues regarding both home and school education, leading to all this hate for Thorin, since most of Brazilians weren't taught how to deal properly with it. You can see a lot in South America by football fans, as they often hurt rival's fans and stuff. Anyways, I really hope you can still cheer for our Brazilian boys.
Caio Oliveira I agree that it is the fans that cause most of the problems, this whole situation has clarified for me that I’m not a Brazilian CS fan but I am an MiBr fan. You’re never going to see me change to being a Furia fan just like I wouldn’t change to saying I’m a Liquid fan now that they are number 1 in the world. I’ve loved the MiBr core even before Cold had joined the team back in the Luminosity days. But it does bother me that controversy is never ending in the Brazilian scene. I think you make a good point about the cultural situation in Brazil, I’d disagree with the point that Brazil is big and therefore has fans because I’d argue NA has many more fans and while they can definitely be delusional there are not nearly as many problems with NA fans as there are Brazilian fans. Don’t get me wrong NA fans have many problems. I still think that the players are still responsible for things such as this major being the 3rd time they don’t have a complete roster before a major. It makes it hard to go all out for supporting a major when your favorite team is incomplete and any results they leave the tournament with are relatively inconsequential. I won’t stop being an MiBr fan, but that doesn’t mean I’m not mad for the things that have happened with this team. I truly hope and believe that with the right roster changes (which I kinda hoped would be with rising stars from Furia but they signed stupid 5 year contracts) this team will bounce back someday. Fallen has gotten the team to rise before when they were Keyd Stars and I know he can do it again. I just hope it comes soon because the loyal and respectful MiBr fans like you and me have been suffering these past two years along with the players for just competent tournament results.
I am a huge fan of Stew and for a period of time I didn’t like Thorin for all the stuff he said about Stew. But it turned into respect after a while. That, kinda defeats one of the great things that our scene has. The fact that we don't have a TI is kinda helping us. Imagine, instead of TI, Dota2 just resort to having another major in its place. It would kinda save a LOT of the rosters from shuffling out, and would help get the smaller scene noticed, for getting circuit points to attend/win smaller events.
