I want to thank you for all your wonderful teachings and projects. But also very much thanking you for the closed captioning.. my daughter is deaf and is just learning to crochet. I told her tonight to be sure and look you up on you tube… thanks again for all you do..
You are going to find this hilarious.. about of us gals from church meet up for a small bible study time. We were thinking of doing some premie baby hats. I have never done a hat but I was willing to learn. So one gal said she had a pattern while she was looking for the pattern 2 of the gals said they didn’t know how but wanted to learn. I told them about this really cool guy on UA-cam that was really cool and easy to learn from. I told them all about Mikey at crochet crowd and as I was talking the other gal found the awesome pattern for baby hat it was from crochet crowd 😄. So now you have more people watching and learning from you… thank you.💕
it's really a small world eh! You never know with the internet. I have seen my videos being played on TV in a craft store as I passed by in Mexico! Who would have thought that eh!
This pattern is so cool! I’m currently making one for my mom but I’m going to make a few of them for myself too. Thanks for the awesome patterns as always:)
Oh, this is such a beautiful pattern! I love the colour gradient. And most of all the rim is so very interesting. Thankyou so much for sharing this pattern. 😊❤️
I like this pattern, It is simple without looking too easy. I enjoy your tutorials they are very informative. Keep up the good work. Thanks for sharing.
I need another project like I need a hole in my head, but the pattern and the yarn are too intriguing to resist. I ordered my yarn as soon as I found out what you used and am happily working away on this. Another great pattern and I'm keeping this for my cold weather walks (it's 7F out right now). Thank you, Mikey.
I was looking for a cowl and was scrolling through some and came upon your pattern! It was so nice and I was just frogging one I started and it was made with Roll with it Mélange paparazzi I had it in my lap! Was this a sign lol. Anyway I love the snood and the fact that it’s a beautiful pattern you have created the single crochet turn at the end makes it for me. Going to watch your small swatch the. Off I go thank you for your beautiful crochet designs! 🥰
I love this so much! I am actually waiting for an order of all the Melange colors. I wasn’t sure what I would be making, so I ordered 5 of each color. It will be here in 3 days. Now all I have to do is decide what project to make first. This may be it !
You make this look so easy. I have some RH roll with it yarn that I want to try this. I will adjust my hook size appropriately. Thank you for making this available. You go above & beyond to help other stitchers.
Love it just love it.. I have missed seeing and hearing you Covid tends to be. Beast.🥴😷 You brighten my day 💃 But feeling better though haven't picked up my hook yet but looking forward to it. Stay Safe I look forward to your next Creation!
It looks so easy! But I still get lost & no matter how carefully I count stitches my project gets wonky by time I finish it. BUT I keep trying, not giving up! Love crochet! Knitting isn't for me cause I have 2 left thumbs! TY Mikey, love this pattern!
I have a question. I have had some 5 weight yarn for awhile and want to use it. I know I need to change the number stitches and needle size. And…I’m a 2x - 3x. Could you give me the changes for the cowl? One that I can use? Thanks, Ramona Rueschenberg
I'm using and ergonomic hook. If you are referring to the size, thats on the pattern in case you missed it on the video. It's linked in the video description.
@@TheCrochetCrowd I was actually wondering about the brand. I tried using furls hooks but they are so heavy and large. I am looking for an ergonomic hook since I am getting a touch of arthritis after 65 years of knitting and crocheting.
Not meaning to be critical here, but this is not a snood! Traditionally a snood was worn by a woman with long hair to contain it, so it's something like a hair net only decorative. This is more like a wimple, though it's not technically one of those either, but it's a closer description than a snood. Definition: Entry 1 of 2) 1a Scotland : a fillet or band for a woman's hair. b : a net or fabric bag pinned or tied on at the back of a woman's head for holding the hair.
I’m not sure. The free pattern is at the bottom of the linked article in the video description. There’s a blue pattern bottom of article. I’m sure why your device isn’t showing you that. I’m sorry.
Do you sometimes have trouble coming up with a pattern? What do you do about it? Snood is a Scottish word, that means hair covering, originally worn by unmarried virgin females. Then it just became a way for women to hold their hair back. I like your usage better.
Someone just said the same thing. I think I misunderstood was a snood was. I saw it being used differently and didn't realize there was a backstory to it.
Sorry about that. I talk to you as if we are friends and talk at the same speed in which I do in real life. I know for some of you it's too fast but if I slow down, it will feel like I am being rude. The free patterns we use are listed in the video description so you can always pull those details for that. IN this case, it was a 4 mm / G/6 hook.

Love all your patterns and videos. Is there a video in the works for the crohoodie?
No... I wasn't planning on that. i am currently in a intense filming binge for the JOANN SAL to be ready for the end of March.
Nice and beautiful tutorial! Is it possible to crochet with bigger yarn? Like that needs 6mm or 5mm hook?
Yep. the stitch multiple is provided so you can just adjust for that if you wish.
@@TheCrochetCrowd Thank you!
I love it
Thanks.
Interested to see it’s crochet continually, does it have to be? Can you join your rounds invisible? 😀
Try it... See what you think if you prefer that method.
Sooooo cool!
Thanks so much.
A scarf and a hoodie is a snoodie I guess lol thanks Mikey!
Play on words. :)
Question: can this stitch be done flat? I really like this pattern and the snoodie is cute but I think I would like an afghan. Thank you.
It can be done in flat, I have done it but I haven't written out the instructions.
I like this pattern very much…so, I was wondering can this be done flat for an afghan? I enjoy watching and learning from your videos. Thank you.
It can be but I haven't written it down yet. I did a quick sample to try.
I have a question. I have had some 5 weight yarn for awhile and want to use it. I know I need to change the number stitches and needle size. And…I’m a 2x - 3x. Could you give me the changes for the cowl? One that I can use? Thanks, Ramona Rueschenberg
Think I would crochet that pattern flat, then graft the edges, lovely pattern I must say
Change what you don't prefer.
@@TheCrochetCrowd I see a lot of lovely other things like blankets, cushion covers etc made with this lovely pattern, well done you Mikey xx :)
YA DI MI LIKE 👍🏽
THanks.
