    You are going to find this hilarious.. about of us gals from church meet up for a small bible study time. We were thinking of doing some premie baby hats. I have never done a hat but I was willing to learn. So one gal said she had a pattern while she was looking for the pattern 2 of the gals said they didn’t know how but wanted to learn. I told them about this really cool guy on UA-cam that was really cool and easy to learn from. I told them all about Mikey at crochet crowd and as I was talking the other gal found the awesome pattern for baby hat it was from crochet crowd 😄. So now you have more people watching and learning from you… thank you.💕

I ordered my yarn as soon as I found out what you used and am happily working away on this. Another great pattern and I'm keeping this for my cold weather walks (it's 7F out right now). @rhondamcmaster7185 2 роки тому

    Not meaning to be critical here, but this is not a snood! Traditionally a snood was worn by a woman with long hair to contain it, so it's something like a hair net only decorative. This is more like a wimple, though it's not technically one of those either, but it's a closer description than a snood. Definition: Entry 1 of 2) 1a Scotland : a fillet or band for a woman's hair. b : a net or fabric bag pinned or tied on at the back of a woman's head for holding the hair.

    Do you sometimes have trouble coming up with a pattern? What do you do about it? Snood is a Scottish word, that means hair covering, originally worn by unmarried virgin females. Then it just became a way for women to hold their hair back. I like your usage better.

    • @TheCrochetCrowd
      @TheCrochetCrowd  2 роки тому +1

      Someone just said the same thing. I think I misunderstood was a snood was. I saw it being used differently and didn't realize there was a backstory to it.
