Thank you :) I recently found out I have a cow lick, my hair thinned a little more so It’s more visible… I’m glad I’m not the only one but also sad that other girls go thru this mess… beauty is so difficult

@@ashleyhopehairplay hey Ashley, I was wondering do you by any chance have the paddle brush attachment for the hot tools one step blow brush? What do you think of it if so.. I've got natural curly/slightly frizzy hair and was wondering if it would work well with my hair or am I better off with the round brush attachment? I'd love your thoughts.

@@Re.x0 hi! I don’t have the flat brush attachment but I took a look at it. Personally, I wouldn’t invest in that extra attachment. I’m really picky with the bristles on my brushes and the ones with balls on the ends tend to rip the hair and not really provide much assistance getting the hair smooth. I prefer more of a natural bristle with more bristles all over and closer together so no hairs can slip through without a good amount of tension. And it has nothing to do with the brand - bc I don’t use the dyson soft smoothing brush attachment with the balls on the ends of the bristles either.. it’s no better. I DO like the dyson firm smoothing brush attachment a little bit more than the soft one. Still not the great, but better.
✨ with ANY blow dry brush - look for natural or nylon bristles if possible (non-nylon and plastics melt or shed a lot). More bristles on the brush and more tightly packed together bristles will give you the most control. Hope this helps 💕🫶🏽

@@ashleyhopehairplay thank you lovely! Appreciate the feedback, I was on the verge of getting it haha. But what you said is pretty true about the bristles and tension, I'll be sticking to the round brush. Thank you! You really helped me decide!!! 🤗

This method is honestly probably my best bet...until my cowlick goes back to normal 5 mins later. 😭 But my hair's just like that, never works the way I want it to. It's so much more visible when I have a middle part. I might just have to go back to a slight side part like I used to have for a long time so hopefully the cowlick's less visible that way! Idk if I didn't have a cowlick when I had a side part or if it was just never visible bc of the parting. Never thought to check since I didn't even know what cowlicks were back then! Oh, the blissful ignorance when I didn't have anxiety over such things. 🥲 But thanks so much for sharing!! I'll definitely be doing this method on the days I decide to keep a middle part.

Oh I know! Hair is funny that way, isn’t it? It has a mind of its own! It’s way easier to control it when it’s wet, so you’ll want to make sure to wet the cowlick really well before you attack it with your dryer .. then dry even a little longer than you think you have to. I have faith you will win! Conquer that cowlick! Good luck my friend! Keep me posted.. I have more tricks if u need them 💕🫶🏽💪🏽
