Something really great happened when you added the solo channel to the drive channel.in the Cogmeister. It only lasted for a few seconds but it really caught my attention.
The Cogmeister takes a bit of dialling in but once that’s done, it’s one if the most dynamic and versatile set ups I’ve ever owned in a single pedal. Really good for guitar volume roll off as well. The boost at the end can be used as a volume bump or volume decrease, if you get the middle section dialled in and want to use that for solos. The ‘Push boost’, which is a bit of a treble booster, can be combined with drive section for massive drive tones (or fuzz, if you crank the lows on the push boost).
To be honest, just with the NDSP SLO-100 Plug-In and the Volume knob on my Tele, I was already able to sound so similar to what these pedals were doing. But hey, I came here to just watch these two be funny while checking stuff out, so I'm happy. :D
Whenever a reputable brand puts out a digital pedal it's cool and fun, for some reasons "cheap" brands do not get the same applause. Is it truly so or is it just confirmation bias?
@@elliotgreen987 Complete quack. Modern DAC ADCs are incredible, even the cheap ones and would be good enough to be used in a music player, so unusual you think a guitar signal would be challenging!
I think Lee is always just conscious of how much they need to get thru in a video, so he’s keeping everything moving. I don’t think it’s meant to be at all disrespectful. Pete seems happy in his job 👍🏼
Thank you for covering up the decibel meter with plants
There is nothing my former employer, Eventide makes I would give a thumbs down to. They're still #1 !!!
Outstanding Gag of the decade from Lee re- Benson. “I know they make Hedges”😂😂😂😂
Was about to point it out, given how matter-of-factly and unnoticed it was in the video :)

Yep, the Benson Germanium will be much loved. Excellent!
22:56 is the best tone of the entire video, such a ballsy sound.
Have you guys ever checked out the L.A. Lady overdrive by Source Audio? It's a super versatile digital drive. Source do a lot of cool stuff imo.
The decibel meter is hiding in the bush- waiting for Charlie...
That Shabat looks amazing. I'd put the pickups in the bin, though.
Why's that bud?
@@bradenandre2298 They're a bit hot for my liking, that's all. Then again, I'm a single-coil fanboy.
Ah yeah I'm a Tele/Low output humbucker guy myself so I can relate@@_uncredited
That Benson pedal is kinda amazing! I had the original preamp but got rid of it bcs it literally didn’t do what this new one does! Crazy, I want one!
Ha ha ha ha ha Edging had me rollding on rhe floor
@Lee I agree, it's a hearing aid for old men/dads. The Dinos-Aural! LOL-ing out louud!
The last section with the Riptide and the compressor was really sweet
Maybe the Biker setting was for "Motorbikin' " by Chris Spedding?
Biker must be for Born To Be Wild SURELY
That was my guess too
My first thought WAS Steppenwolf!
Your DB meter has been covered up by a plant for weeks now chaps!
Seeing the decibel meter would be nice

27:13 “I like peaking. And edging as well” lmao Pete’s little comments that go unacknowledged. Lee’s too used to it to notice
Chaps! You've covered the db meter with a plant!
Like Lee I have seen very few movies. Can't hold attention. Yet here I watch 43 minutes of whatever this was. Thank you?
Love the 76 think it’s my next Wampler pedal!
Always a treat. Thanks chaps!
That guitar is 👌😍
Dinosaural - it starts out thin at one end, gets very big in the middle, and thin again at the other end. That is my theory, and it's mine.
Lee: "tons of comp"
Pete: "i play with..." hmm better not say that one
lmao
Hearing Pete say "cog" @ 10:25 sounds a bit R rated 😅👌
You guys have to start posting the bleeped out bits somewhere w/o the bleeping.
I know they made hedges! Good one.
That Tele is making me feel... peculiar 😍
Dads be dad rockin’
OG Roadhouse introduced me to Jeff Healey. Recommended.
It's been months since the set renovation & I still find the decibelometre hidden in a grassy knoll weirdly distracting.
If I could afford that Shabat, it would be mine!
yall should mix in some stuff for bass heads. good stuff as always.
Soooo the famous movie series "Riptide" aka. "Trio mit 4 Fäusten" has got a signature pedal
Nice
Never heard of a movie called "Riptide"- is it any good?
@@stoneysdead689
Well ... if you like 70s style private investigation episodes this might be 4you ... 2me its a nice "blast from the past"
@@matzer8846 Actually I do like that stuff- I'll check it out- thanks man.
Do they have movie theaters in the UK?
*grabs pitchfork*
YOU’RE PLAYING IT WRONG! 😩
I need a gig in Dubai, not outside thou.
“I’ve got the timing of Lars Ulrich at the moment” 💀
Ha - Pete is like that uncle or family friend that is really fun but randomly makes wildly inappropriate comments! 😆
In Bingo calling '3' is sideways knockers
Are the attack and release knobs reversed on the dial like the 1176?
Dinosaural Cogmeister only $500 in reverb!
Why do pedal companies still use the hard click switches when they have the soft silent switch such as in the Wampler Tumnus Deluxe.
To save money.

.....tales from the pedal crypt....
👍🏿🤘
I want it to be my left hand man

It’s just snobbery, don’t let it bother you.
Cheap digital usually doesn’t sound very good.
@@stanknugget I agree, good quality ada conversion and dsp chips aren't cheap and if they arent up to the job its very noticeable
Simply put- because it costs money to do digital right. And when it's not right- it's very noticeable.

please remove the plant in front of the DB meter, its a mood point having it like this.
Great video otherwise, gents
Shazam
Does Lee ever stop interrupting Pete and talking over him? So infuriating to watch! Wait your turn FFS
please like and subscribe
I have noticed that a lot too dude....hurts to see our danish beauty be talked over😢

It’s the way Europeans communicate. It doesn’t bother them…. It shouldn’t bother you….🤣

Benson was a great series!
Okay, everyone send all of your old VHS movies to Lee so he has no excuse for not seeing these movies. 🥸
Eventide is expensive as hell and overrated
