I found this video because I wasn't sure I'd be able to try these sizes out in person... well it turns out I actually have a Breitling boutique nearby and I did. I'm a tall guy and no longer as thin as I used to be but my wrists are not that big. I still felt the 46mm fit me best. I was honestly surprised. The 41mm was clearly too small; it almost looked like a womens' watch on my wrist. I could have definitely worn the 43mm and it would be a little more non-descript and a little less attention grabbing than the 46. But the difference between the 43 and 46 was not as big as I expected, the 46 is definitely a little more of a "statement" watch and it's thoroughly comfortable on my wrist. (I also just like the 46mm dial colors better; especially the dark green.) It's very well designed in terms of both comfort and proportion - my wife even called it "elegant" despite its size. That said, I also looked at an Omega Speedmaster after buying my Navitimer and the 46mm Navitimer makes the Speedmaster look tiny. So I agree the 46 might not be for everyone, but Breitling really did well making a big watch not seem oversized, and it just looks "right" if you're a taller guy.
I would have thought all of these were too big for me, but you surprised me with the relatively short lug-to-lug on the 41-I think I could wear that one! I know the focus here is on the size range, not the straps, but let me ask anyone who has some experience with them-how comfortable is the strap?
Great comparison! I'm in the market for a Navitimer and want an ice blue. That one is. It available (yet?) In Europe in 41 mm size. Only 43. But seeing this comparison on your wrist with the 41 and 43, it's visible larger and don't like the step up to 43. This was so helpful! Sad I'm not near your store, otherwise I would visit for sure! Greetings from The Netherlands!
I would have to try them on to decide between the 41 and the 43. I love the Navitimer, but Breitling's pricing has gotten a bit out of hand for me.....at about $7,000 - $7,500 I would be interested, but at over $9,000 now, that's just a bit steep, IMHO.

Couldn't agree more. Congrats and enjoy wearing yours!
I like how you downplay the size on the thicker/larger models. Not everyone has a smaller wrist. Just show naturally. It is what it is!
Thanks, I do my best to be as objective as possible and know others have different size wrists.
41mm please Brad. 🙂

7.25 inch wrist and I prefer more compact watches, so I would go for the 41.
They all wear smaller than their dimensions would suggest, but I think the 41 would look great on any size wrist.

46mm is magnificent.
