My period start September 31 and end the 4th of October..I had sex with my bf on the 8th of October and took the first planb on the 9th and now I am wondering if the pills work I took the pills 16hrs apart.
Hi. Plan b has levonorgestrel, that's most effective taken within 72 hours ff intercourse.
Hey I took the pill of postinor 2 on date 23 after sex on November

I had my period on the 23rd of last month, I had sex on 1 and 2nd of this month and took the pill on the 2nd, I was to ovulate on the 6th of this month but started bleeding on the 4th for 3days. And after the bleeding, I have not ovulated till now, what could be the problem
You may be experiencing side effects from the pill, it czn disrupt the cycle - also a pregnancy test is recommended 2/3 weeks after you take the pill.
I had an unprotected sex on the 19 and few hours later I took the pills and later I didn’t see my period through out that’s month.could I be pregnant
It depends on when in your cycle that you took the pill. But you can do a pregnancy test 2-3 weeks from when you had U/S to find out.
I saw my period on the 11th of May to the 16th. I had sex the 17, 20th and 23 I did not see my period for the whole month of June. Now I’m worried. After u missed my period for the month of June, I did a pregnancy test and it came out negative. I repeated it today and it’s still negative. What do u have to say? 😭😭😭😭😭😭
I didn’t take the pill after. I took 2 pill in 1month

How does you take the pill? Example if you take the pill 9 pm you take it back the next day same time right ? Next question when your overlaying you will not get pregnant?
Hi, yes you take the regular pill the same time every day. Continue doing so according to the type of pill. Some are 'everyday', some have a 7-day pill break for example.
I don't know what you mean by overlaying.
@@AskAwayHealth I not talking the 1 that people would take everyday. I think it a 2 tab pill.
If you mean the emergency birth control pill, usually you take the second pill 12 hours after the first.
Please read the leaflet that comes with your pill to be sure you are doing things correctly.
Ma, I took it on the 7th day (28 days cycle) and still got the period on my due date.. Hope it's normal

My cycle is 36days. I saw my period 9 of August to 16 of August and i had unprotected sex with the pullout method on 22nd of August and took postinor2 few hours later that day .now am having pregnancy scare .please am I safe?I would appreciate if you reply
Hi, I think the risk of pregnancy is low given you took the pill same day.
If you're cycle is regular, ovulation is likely around your midcycle.
Please also do a pregnancy test around 2/3 weeks from when you met your partner.
And since its not a great idea to use the EC pill too frequently, would you think of a regular method?
They are more effective and you avoid panic (next time).

Hi Dr,I got my period on 3/10/2022 and then had unprotected sex on 15/10/2022 and took the pill the following day,I have not had my periods it's 7/11/2022 should I be worried
Hi Mercy, thanks for asking ☺️ - I think this is a good time to do the pregnancy test (as its about 3 weeks since you had U/S), so it will tell you whether or not the pill worked.
Given that you took it soon after, I think it has, remember it can sometimes delay the period.
Let me know how it goes.
How did it go?
Did you get your period ????
My wife took the first pill 40 minutes after intercourse and the second after 12 hours. Menstrual cycle happened at about 26 days. It has been a month and a few days now but the period has not happened. Is this pregnancy or not?
