@@fenui anybody can have a bad jump. It is the only part of free-style iceskating that I have seen so far that makes me not endorse it

yes, based on tutorials and analyzing videos. I plan to drop 2 deep tutorials in this winter on how to get better in freestyle and how to learn literally anything in extreme sports

Figure skating requires more skill though, and generally looks better.
If this is added to the olypics it would be in addition to figure skating not instead of it. They're very different types of skating. I would know, I figure skate.

I practice freestyle inline skating, bit I feel like ice offers more possibilities. Sadly in most months there is no ice ring around, and even in cold month the ice ring closest is too far away to get there without a car...
I'm pretty sure I can jump higher than them. I jump over traffic cones the big tall ones.

Where around the world do you recommend visiting to ice freestyle skate. A group of us all freestyle daily in the local rink and we are traveling to Austria for the winterwonderland but are looking for more places to explore
Where do you live exactly? There are freestylers in Austria, Germany, France, actually in many places. We'll organize a meetup in Budapest in 2017 (probably February). Can freestyle be done on figure skates?
Think this is super rad [not a chance in hell I can do it until I lose weight but hey that's what my skates are for]. Though I do have to ponder, is there any similar form of skating for inlines? [Albeit naturally with different tricks that work better with the properties of inlines.] Could be hella fun, though crashing on cement certainly sounds a lot less fun than crashing on ice.
