Dear t-blade fans, it is true that assembly is no longer free. At the time we recorded the video, at the beginning of the season, that was still the case. But we also have costs that have risen steadily in recent years and we have to work to cover costs. Normal orders via the configurator are still assembled free of charge. If the system is bought from us, we have decided to charge €9.99 for shoes that you send in yourself, so that at least the material is paid for. If neither the shoe nor the material was bought from us, the assembly costs €24.99 with normal rivets and €29.99 with copper rivets in the back. We have always offered this service. We hope you understand. Andre from t-blade
Hello, i recently order tblades and an assembly, but i don't know how i am supposse to send my boots and if it will cost anything more, can you help me?
@@Geets64 hi, if you buy the system on our site in the configurator you have paid the system, the mounting and the shipping back to you. So you have only sent the skate to us in Germany. From what Country you are?
I love Tblade. I normally swap the blades out every 40-45 hours of on ice time. Just make sure if you are out of country like (USA) bulk buy extra runners to save on S&H costs.
The tblades are awesome for so many reasons, but also sometimes very disappointing. The metallic stabilizers get scratched way too easily (and they actually came a bit scratched out of the box). If you are not careful when tightening the screws, the paint will peel off and reveal the yellow base color. The screws are fragile. One of the steel screws on my left skate broke after a month of usage, as it managed to screw out of the socket from skating for 2h. Thankfully I found a replacement screw which is normally used for house drawers, and it fits well costing only 0.02$. Screws need to be tightened every 3-4h on ice. The clip that sits on the back of the skate fell off in a week. The black carbon holders aren't actually black, instead they also have a layer of paint that starts to slowly peel off after a month. The stabilizers are fragile and wonky. Apart from the negatives, the sound, the feel, the fact you can replace the runners, the look, the lightweight feel, everything is amazing. If you have money to spare, I would recommend getting tblades, but also replacement parts for each element of the skate. The parts are unfortunately cheaply produced.
i start with the T-blade system now i got neer graf boots with normal runners and i cant get used to the normal runners so i was in a shop of my trust and changed the holder to a t-blad holder :D
I got into TBlade cuz i got them from my parents at christmas i think 2015 oder 2016. Just the biggest thing is that where ever you are you can choose the size of your blades. for breaking i think for hockey if tblades get hit they might suffer but mostly i guess tblades are used by freestylers or just normal skaters
Hi, so t-blade also works for hockey, I've had it myself for over 10 years and I only broke a holder and blade, and that can happen to you with a normal holder too.
Concerning stability, the rear part of the holder, especially the latest ring of it seems really weak macanically designed. Landing from high jump on rear part of it could really break it. You should be careful with it, land only on the middle part of the blade.
One day maybe I will be able to use this style of blade, they look so much nicer than a traditional blade, unfortunately I am basically double your weight so I have doubts that the durability of t-blade would be nearly as good for me.
@@AlpineIceFreestyle yes I am a very large individual, standing at 6 ft 4 inches I am basically a moving door 🤣, I have been skating for about a year now though, it is part of my weight loss journey, I was 224kg when I started, poor life choices led me to where I was then, but I am trying to get my life in order, far too late but better than never I suppose. I enjoy seeing the things you are capable of in your videos, some day I'd like to get there.
Hey alpine ice, I was wondering if I can bake my tblades?I have the Bauer 3.5x tblades and it really hurts at the ankle area. I was worried because I have heard stories that it is very common for them to melt. My friend baked them once at the hockey shop and they melted.
Should a novice start with a t blade? I’ve not ice skated seriously for 20 years. I skated for 30 mins about 3 years ago. I consider myself a novice again until I build up my skills again.
Does it matter how much the stabilizers screws are tightened? I noticed that they weren't quite too tight so I'm not sure if i should leave it or tighten them a little
@@AlpineIceFreestylethanks . And last question I want to order extra blades for later but what do I get for the length of contact surface and the hollow radius. Or does it not matter
Which runners are premounted on the prebuild skates? If i bought the XL-S size 43EU, which length and sharpness will the runners have? Didnt find any info bout that. The discount doesnt work yet indeed, like someone already said.
If you write to us, we will be happy to provide you with information about which runner is installed, or you can write in the comments when you place your order which variation you would like.

Once you get used to the way they cut through the Ice nothing compares.

On the skates in skateguards. For the replacements I bought some very cheap skateguards and keep the runners in them

I jump 2m over Ramps with it and the best jumper in the World Hit 2,45m with it yesterday. We never had any issues...
T-Blades have were around back in the 80's and didn't stay around long for a reason! They failed back then so hopefully history doesn't repeat itself.
