He didn't care about the interview, he shrugged off that woman's attempts at rushing him along, all he wanted to do was sign autographs and pose for pictures. This is an actor who cares about his fans. This guy is a class act.
I met him once at LAX, I said “hi my name is Aaron can I talk to you for a minute?” He nodded and I told him that I love his work, I was proud of him and I hoped to be in his shoes someday and that he was inspiration to me, he shook my hand and put his other hand on top of mine and said “I appreciate you saying that, keep at it lad, the only thing in your way is yourself, just get it and keep going”. A very nice guy.

Ledger didn´t spent just a month creating the joker, he moved to a hotel three months before the production just to get in the caracther!! Even with the computer change for the use of the mask, Hardy created a tone of voice and a accent consistent to the Bane´s... people shouldn´t minimize a work of an actor
@Supahfreeak Have you forgotten "Warrior"? I believe he did a superb job on that flick. His hard headed arrogant tough guy act passed with an A+. Not to mention how well he americanized his accent. I believe it's hard for a british actor to do that.
My thoughts exactly. If Bane tried to play Joker it would fail and if Ledger tried to play Bane it would also fail, but Hardy playing Bane and Ledger playing Joker is perfection.
I think they know each other to some degree. They are both in the entertainment buisness, are roughly the same age and possibly(?) come from the same area in London. If thats true, it wouldnt be a stretch to say that they were friends before Tom was famous (in that he's only been famous for 2~ years) and is happy to see him in this formal interview but unfortunatley cant start chatting on TV. Tom sees recognises this & asks 'give us a cuddle'... for old times sake... Thats what i see anyway
