I hope what we see in interviews is how he behaves in life; with his honest genuine way when he's away from cameras. I feel that the reason why he is like it, is because he's had a troubled past with the law and drug/ alcohol addiction. Charlotte riley and his parents must be so proud of how he's turned his life around. I bet you he's a very loving husband and father.

On another note, I would love to see what Mr. Hardy would think of the story of Sir Nicholas Winton. Instead of pursuing the opportunity to bring the melodrama of Sir Elton John's life to the screen a far more interesting and deserving story to be told would be that of Sir Winton whose 2 week vacation resulted in the lives of approximately 15,000 people being on the planet today. A far more compelling story to share with the world. He would be transcendent in his portrayal of such a man.
