@@luke_elliot thanks man! I honestly just followed the same steps and then turned the saturation down, the grain up, and increased the contrast and highlights!
How is the plugin for Premiere Pro, been thinking about getting it to introduce to my audience, but I'm a premiere guy and most folks seem to favor Davinici with this plugin, also, nice video Mason, beautiful work.
@@Trentorials Dehancer Team here. We do not favor any particular plugin, the updates are coming out consistently for DaVinci and Premiere. Whichever you choose :)

Awesome video, those reds and skin tones are incredible. Would love to see a comparison of film vision/dehancer compared to the just dehancer and a little toggle back and forth. Thanks for the awesome video!
Thanks man! I’ve been trying to isolate skin tones recently and tweak them. Enjoying the learning process! Check my first video for a film vision 2 grade without dehancer! I reused some of the shots in this video but re-graded them
I think they are both great and serve different purposes! I've been using film vision for longer, so I'm more familiar with it, but I think you can get a multitude of different looks with dehancer, even if you're not trying to make it too filmic looking.
After watching this video I subscribed to your channel, the reason is because I have been looking for ways to colour grade and still make it look very professional. I don't need to be a colourist to do it. Looking forward to learning a lot from your work. 🫶🏽
What bothers me about "the film look" nowadays is...go looks at films in the 70, 80, 90s none of those movies look anything like the sorta photography versions of film looks at 5:29 for example.
Probably the best one on UA-cam so far
Exactly the colours and look I’m after
This is film at it best
This is the best tutorial I’ve seen for getting that film look. Great job!
Thank you my friend!
These are genuinely beautiful! The look you create feels so authentic and gritty! Absoloutely love your work!!!
thank you so much!!
Nice simple workflow. THe shots are all phenomenal. Keep up the great work
Thank you!
Insane workflow 🤯. You’re about to streamline my whole process
🙏🤘
Can you share how you achieved that amazing b&w grade? You knocked this out of the park my friend!

Thank you for an incredible review! If anyone has questions about Dehancer, please let us know in the comments.
Can I please have it for free. Its way too expensive for me. I’ll work hard to get enough subscribers and tell them how good Dehancer is. pls ❤

Thx!
Let’s go! Can’t wait
woooo!
This is the way
bro if you don't mind, then can we please have the raw video files of the videos ungraded to practice color grading. Great video by the way
I need to get away from Pr and get learning this software
I recommend, film look, FREE.
is there a way to do this without having to buy dehancer? just essentially with what DaVinci already has?
Nice work! Do you think Filmvision is better than Dehancer?

amazing! thank you! Yes, anyone can do it.
Great Video ty. What are you shooting on?
Thx! For this video it was a mixture of komodo, fx3, canon r5c, and atlas orion glass.
Great video! How did you grade the black and white shots?
Thank you! Same process, but just turned off saturation! And cranked the film grain/dust/bloom a bit more!
the sound design was amazing do you have videos on that ?
Thanks! I kept it pretty simple on this one and just did some low pass filters + constant power to fade the music out in premiere.
Awesome & Thanks :)
Thx!
What's the name of the song around 4:50 ? the woodwinds one.
What an amazing video....!!! What is the aspect ratio?
thanks! 2.39:1
Hey, when you use FilmVision with Dehancer you turned gate weave on both on. Was this on purpose?
I personally think film visions gate weave is better, usually I just use 1. It wasn’t intentional to have both on! Oops.
man, this is fckin cinema
but how did you do the fade out at 1:00?
Hey! just a simple fade to black in premiere
@@MasonChar hmmm, it looks diferent... the shadows go before the highlights...
@@paulbates4386 Oh thats right! I graded the fadeout in davinci, then re-applied the fade to black back over the top in premiere lol. Did double work.
@@MasonChar double the result! it looks sick.
so good, did you record with iphone
Haha no but I’d love to try the 15 soon
weldone! Is this davinci resolve 19?
Either 18 or 19 yes! I haven't updated in a bit
very nice man
Thank you!
How did you upload the video with aspect ratio 2.35.1 ?
Hey! I shot it and edited it that way! I believe the ratio in premier was 4320 x 1620
you've only been doing this 10 months and already have an FX6??
sorry for the confusion! I've been shooting since I was 12 but only using davinci for 10 months.
Step 1: location, better be in California.
Beside joke, this is great color grading. Excellent.
haha it certainly helps!
Nice realy :)
Thank you!
