This restorative heart opening yoga sequence offers some of the best heart opening stretches to help bring more oxygen into the body while helping you release tension and stress within the shoulders, neck, chest and upper back.
In this restorative yoga routine we will be utilizing a block. If you don't have a yoga block feel free yo replace it with a tightly rolled up towel or folded pillow.
This class is also day 26 of 30 days of yoga for peace of mind.

Relief at last! Sitting at a desk all day will do that to your shoulders. Even if it was for just a few minutes, it still felt good to know relief is out there.

It’s been a bit since I’ve followed a video, been kind of down. So have just been doing it before bed because it’s the only quiet time I can get.
Starting to think I’ll have to wake up early to be able to do it before my day. Because yoga helps ground me. This was a beautiful addition to my library of favorite yoga videos. I’ve never been able to release the tension in my upper back. I’ve tried millions of different moves. When I lied down on the block my spine cracked multiple times. And I feel like I physically have more space in my upper back now. 🙏🏻what a beautiful reunion video. 🥰 namaste

Yoga With Bird of course! It’s not you! I’d take a class with you every single damn day. It’s me. I get stuck in my head, and then I am also a mom, so a lot of the times she needs me. And then when I have down time, I get stuck in my head again, while also being mentally exhausted. So some days i just do yoga alone, but I’ve noticed when I do that, I don’t challenge myself enough. I also don’t learn anything. I’ve been doing yoga consistently for over a year now (April 12th, 2019) and I think I’ve just realized my next goal. Attending a yoga with bird class daily. Sorry my comments are so lengthy. It’s slightly cathartic. 😅😂🙏🏻 Namaste Birdy. 🙏🏻.
Also side note: my spirit animal is a bird. 🤔😉
Your channel deserve so much more love. I used to watch boho beautiful yoga and the pace of yoga was just too quick and seemed more advanced almost like exercise and the whole purpose of yoga for me is to relax so I really appreciate your channel.

Saving this video and repeating regularly! I have had a super compressed upper thoracic spine area due to improper body alignment during yoga and weightlifting for years, in conjunction with tension/stress that I became accustomed to holding in my traps. Only just realizing the consequences of that (tight chest area, imbalanced strength in my upper back/shoulders, poor should mobility). I got chiropractically adjusted monday and by thursday I was feeing tight again, so I did this routine...and OMG it was immediate relief. Thank you!
