- I'm starting my honey yard hive checks and the small hives are starting to but on brood and the larger hives are stacking up on drone brood. Big changes are heading our way but gotta feed the big hives so they don't starve out. #feedingbees #queen #beehive #howtokeepbees #howtofeedbees #nature

Yep, that last hive is hot. I requeened three of my hives last year when they start that. Surprised with all that pollen that there wasn't more nectar in the frames. Have a good day and thanks for posting.
WE been having a lot of pollen coming in but very little nectar, the big hives are eating out there stored honey, so I have been having to feed until the flow starts,thanks for the comment .

nice looking drone brood. I found 1 swarm cell with an egg yesterday on the queen that will be my breeder this year. 27 hr day got my bees home from CA now a week of rain. I love how the bees will turn a med into a deep for you if you are short of deep frames
If you leave them space they will fill it like it or not. lol Thanks for watching.
