Hinduism Explained, A Story About Indra.
The Humbling of Indra is an ancient story taken from the Brahma Vaivarta Purana. In this story, Vishnu and Shiva come to the Vedic god Indra and teach him about the role of reincarnation in the life of the gods. His destruction of Vritra and later construction of the divine city lead to trouble with the gods of the Trimurti.
The first telling of this story I heard from Joseph Campbell.

Shiva was once asked about the garland of 108 skulls he wears as a necklace. He replied that each skull belonged to a Brahma from a previously destroyed creation/universe.

In Hinduism, there is a difference between Brahma, Brahman, and Brahmin. Brahma is the Creator. Brahman is the pervading, unseen spirit. Brahmin is the one devoted to spiritual science and devoted to living a spiritual life.

Brahma work is to turns non physical into physical (creation).

Being a Hindu does not guarantee EXPERIENCE.
      Information comes from studying.
      KNOWLEDGE comes from EXPERIENCE.
Lotus Feet is the vision of a part of the thousand petalled flower (sahastrar kamal, at the final chakra).

    Indra is a demi god.

Narayana created the gods, and narayana means soul(ayana) of humanity (nara). So mankinds soul (narayana) created the gods. We are the cosmos. We are atma, we are brahman. Look how huge we are.. All the devas are in our body; Surya is the eye, soma the ears, indra the hands, rudra the heart... Indeed we should cherish the time we have ;^) That is good advice. Regards

Once Brahma wanted to test the little boy Krishna. In response Brahma saw many Brahmas seated on swans flying to the boy Krishna with the Brahmas offering praises and singing the glories of Krishna. Bewildered, the Brahma enquired and realised that each Brahma presided over another universe and many were more powerful than him. Some of those Brahmas presided over universes that were too inhospitable to any form of life and some universes had sizes in comparison to the power of the Brahma presiding over it.

Radha was not wife of Krishna. Krishna never married her. They are so together always that they are most commonly called RadheKrishna (Radha first) and many go further and ommit Krishna as well and call "RadheRadhe" here Krishna is completely dissolved in the name of Radha (The symbol of pure Love)

Not the last time Indra was humbled by my Lord Vishnu. You've clearly seen Little Krishna; one of my favourite moments from that whole series is when the Lord lifts the hill up over His head to protect the people of Vrindavana from Indra. Nice face-full of mud for the "king" of the Gods there. Hail Vishnu!

Meaning: Reality is an illusion(or Maya in Hindi), That is why we meditate in Yoga....Yoga is our way of praying to God.Let's say it is important for us (followers of Sanatan Dharma) to meditate to find ourselves....and not pray to God

*If you read the sri rudram it actually says in the beginning: sankarshana murti svarupo yosavaditya paramapurusha: sa esha rudro devataa*
Your scriptures says sankarshana is rudras svarup. sankarshana is a murti of narayana, and he (sankarshana) is the svarupa of Rudra tattva. Both are the one paramapurusha! Sankarsana is absolute being - just like paramashiva, the highest tattva for shaivites, means absolute being. Parabrahman manifests itself as either krishna, shiva or shakti. Depending on your rasa and svarupa.. Sectarianism destroyes your brain!

start is great but I would like to tell you other symbolism in the mahavishnu image. the serpent is 5 headed because he's representing the panchabhuta and brahma is connected to vishnu through the amblical cord. symbolising that the universe is getting created using energy as well as matter. the 4 heads of brahma being a geometrical equation symbolising the 4 axis which are necessary for creation. also vishnu is lying on kshir sagara meaning the milky way

  • @AxemanMessiah

So is this is a projection of the Brahma, which is also just a projection of Vishnu from his dream, then where did Vishnu come from? Also if Indra was created as a God from Vishnu to protect the universe, then wasn't Vitra also created by Vishnu as he is the original creator? Indra is the creation of the Vishnu the creator. If a painting goes bad do you blame the paint or the painter? If Indra went bad, he had the conscious given to do to, does that make him evil or the creator that gave him the power and ignorance to do so? If one thing is a projection, of a projection, of a creator, who created him? and who created him? Instead of going in an infinite loop of layers, why not just cut it right here instead of even going to the first layer of projection? Existence itself is enough to be a religion. I really love your explanation and these are the questions that I wanted more clarity on so I can fully grasp this :) Thanks for the video.

The demigods humans animals plants all are living entity According to Vedas there are 8.4 millions species in universes including demigods our body is mostly made of soul their bodies are mostly made if light and air but they all come under living entity.and all living entity inside material universe is called fallen soul.you know the story of Adam and Eve?soul who decided to enjoy life in absence of God is called Fallen soul so we are all fallen soul including demigods They are just Higher things to do but they all fall under illusion Only Narayan and lord shiva who is his expansion are free from illusion and illusion is God external energy just to provide a plateform for fallen soul who want to enjoy the material world so it's said God hs given us free will to enjoy life same applies for demigods but the purpose of all these is to realise we can't be happy with this temporary things only happiness is to serve God so all yogis try to attain God cz this is end of cycle if birth and death and once we become God consciousness after death we go back to God head for eternal life where there is no death old age decease etc nd there are many ways to attain this which people follow in different religion all destination is same some are easy some hard.

Lord Shiva is Mahadev - You Should Google the Defention of Mahadev. Om Namah Shiva 🕉 In Shaivism Lord Shiva is worshipped as Brahman himself. In his manifested aspect (vyakta) he becomes Isvara, the lord of the universe and the whole creation. Isvara is his dynamic form, with awakened Shakti, who acts as the creator, preserver, concealer, revealer and destroyer of all manifested things. Krishna is a recarnation of God and Surpreme personality of God Head. Shiva is not a Demi God but God. Shiva is God and formless but can take shape. Om Namah Shiva and Hare Krishna 🕉

    • @thenaturalpeoplesbureau
      @thenaturalpeoplesbureau 5 років тому

Yes - but meditation increases your awareness. Your awareness has not reached infinity, so to increase you should meditate. But you can also try to be selfaware in waking state, dreamstate and sleepstate. If you retain selfawareness in those 3 states the fourth state manifests in your heart. If you enter a room, enter the room with your consciousness as if you were a liquid pouring into it. Enter into the middle point of any space, and see everything from inside with your third eye! Just being aware gives you the rewards of your LVL. It doesnt level you up. To level up, you have to either work for the self in all, or meditate. Otherwise you remain aware on your level.. Cheers!

Enlighten Although that is what the current Puranic system preaches. “Brahma” was the same as Brahman at an early point of time.
With respect to this story, this isn’t Brahman as what Saffiyeh said. This Upanishad is from the Puranic age. Otherwise there is no concept of a trinity in the Vedic pantheon; the highest is Prajapati and everyone else is below him, including Rudra/Shiva and Vishnu.

@@anirudhkrishnamani Brahma being superior is written in Brahma puran. Shiva being the ultimate creator in Shiva puran ( Vishunu and Brahma originating from him) and Vishnu being the ultimate and supreme as described in previous comments in Vishnu puran. These purans are mere story written by sages and showed favoritism to the god they loved. The truth is in Vedas where Brahman is described as the ultimate form, it is not Brahma, Vishnu or Shiva.

Radha was not his wife 😂😂😂 . She was the devotee and beloved of lord krishna .
There are three words . Bhramh = the Supreme God; Bhramha = One of the manifestation of God. And bhrahaman = One who get enlightenment and be the living God or saint.

Aman Vijay Singh ; vajra is made out of bones of Maharishi Dhatichi, who was the student of Mahadeva, thus Maharishi Dhatichi had extreme powers. Once when Asura's took over the Heaven. The Gods wanted to hide their wepons. Thus they requested Maharishi Dhatichi to consume all their wepons.

Yep krishna is parabrahman. Shiva and brahma are created from vishnu, maha-vishnu in the multiverse entered all universes in the form of sadashiva and vishnu, and maha-vishnu is created from sankarshana. Sankarshana (being) is created from vasudeva(consciousness). Vasudeva is krishna and he is everything - vasudevam sarvam iti. Tat tvam asi!

When they are split they are Brahma, Vishnu, Shiv. When they are merged they are Parampurush (formless male supreme-spirit).
When they are split they are Saraswati, Lakshmi, Shakti. When they are merged they are Paramshakti (formless female supreme-energy)
When they are split they are Parampurush and Paramshakti. When they are merged they are PARABRHAMÅ (formless genderless Supreme Being).
AUM(ॐ) is symbol for PARABRAHMÅ the Supreme Being. SWASTIK(卐) is symbol for Parampurush. SHREE(श्री) is symbol for Paramshakti.
There are many hindus who worship only formless Parabrahmå, for example Brahmos, Nirankaris, Shrotas etc.. Smartas worship all but Parabrahmå as supreme. Vaishnavas considers Mahavishnu as Parabrahmå. Shaivas considers Sadashiva as Parabrahmå. Shaktas considers Adi Parashakti as Parabrahmå. Modern days Krishnavas considers Krishna of Golok as Parabrahmå, Sai Panthi considers Sai as Parabrahmå. Brahma Kumaris considers Shankar & Shiv both are deferment gods. They considers Shankar as Mahadev & Shiv as Parabrahmå. Kabir Panthi considers Durga as mother of Brahma, Vishnu, Shankar but considers Kabir as Parabrahmå. Bangalis considers Durga as mother of Lakshmi & Saraswati and Durga as
Parabrahmå. Every sect ultimately worships Parabrahmå only.
You maybe be drawn towards a different form of the One, all pervading, supreme being, according to your 'Vasnas' i.e Karmic smells/tendencies. Every form or manifestation of the ONE being is capable of guiding you towards the ultimate goal of dissolving/merging ur 'self' into its One unfanthomless Self. You can start by intellectually grasping this wisdom but you will desolve only through your heart. Through devotion. For a devotee, the deity to whom he feels connected the most, is his 'Isha' i.e The ultimate to be worshiped, to be devoted to and to love so much, so as to the merge ur idea of 'self' in the supreme self.Only when u lose, u gain the fountain head. If you realize that the object of your devotion, the one u feel most connected to, your personal 'Isha" is Krishna or Shiva or Kali or Jesus or Yehwe - the fromless cosmic consciousness, good for you! But the relationship should be very quietly personal, not a means of expanding through force or trick conversions.
'Oh i belong to the religious group which has most followers; My religion is the only truth; My god is the only true god, I have this; I have that; I know this; I know that- 'i' n 'my' the two fetters of the self-identification. Opposite of the path of enlightenment, quite the opposite.
A sign that u are progressing spiritually, is when there is a growing warmth n sweetness within u, towards the creation n all beings. When ur mind is increasingly focused on the presence of your deity's grace. When u r increasingly silent and content- not only outwardly but within u also a restful silence emerges. When this restful silence begins to come more often, stay longer and brings along a restful stillness to the body energies as well. Ur mind is now beginning to align with the cosmic mind, ur body with the cosmic geometry. The Yoga, Different deities corresponding to different dimensions of the One being, the Mantras, the Yantras and the rituals are all efficient Tools designed to help u in your inner journey.
P.S Some Hindu deities are shown Blue because electric blue is the most 'Inclusive', all encompassing color of the aura. Most deities are shown white to depict their pure and auspicious aura.
Some are shown Black like Maha Kali (Mighty Time) and her consort Maha Kala (A powerful form of Shiva) to depict that the path to the ultimate is absolute stillness n absolute silence. The No-thing ness. You can work up the 112 chakras of the body using various spiritual tools n techniques but to reach the 113th n 114th which are outside the body, at the top of the head, u have to take a leap of faith n jump into the black nothingness n only then u reach the ultimate source of light.
(Kal means Black. It also means Time.It also means death or the End). MahaKali and MahaKal keep merging n emerging within each other, at cosmic level as well as at the minutest atomic level. This dissolution and evolution is the rhythm of creation. The heart beat. Every thing comes from nothing and goes back to nothing, only to come back again.

Oh, man! So much love for you and your channel! So much love. Thank you! You, your story-telling and the overall vibe of your channel reminded me of something I have that I've loved since the first time I saw it. A number of years ago a couple of guys traveled around the world with some cameras, audio recording equipment and diary of appointments and they made a doccie called "One Giant Leap", the aim of which was to illustrate the point that more unites individual human beings with one another than what separates them. It's more than likely that you've seen the doccie, but maybe you haven't. If you haven't, then here is a link to the specific clip from the doccie that your video just reminded me of. It might be a little glitchy at the start. Light, life, love and liberty to you and yours. ua-cam.com/video/GywunQmHfVE/v-deo.html

The earth is His footstool. Walking upon the narrow path, following after Him is worshiping the lotus feet of The Lord, repenting and humbling oneself at the feet of The Lord in spirit and truth, knowing we are His creation and all that we are and all that we have is from Him and out of the Supreme Source of All and Lord of Lords.

Indira is none other than "Horus" study the symbol and u will understand...Lilith-ishtar-innana-isis-astarte etc etc are all one but then they are distortion of hindu goddess "Durga"...This u will understand when u compare the symbols..U will find 2 loops in either hands of Ishtar also the lions...That loop is a representation of "supreme motherly status" ( something to do with power=Shakti)...The same loops and lions u find with Durga...But the difference is for Durga she has 4 hands and for ishtar-lilith etc they have 2 hands raised up ( this is a distortion)...They ( the former sumerians) did not understand the symbol and they converted ishtar-Lilith into sacred Prostitute...
