I own a MB and I am now trying to figure out which FS I want. Was yours the small or medium CFS?

Thanks, that was useful! Especially because I have the same laptop and tablet. :-) It was looking a little crowded with the laptop and Freudian Slip--there was clearly room for both, but it didn't look like there was room for much else. Is that true? I'm thinking of getting a Maker's Bag for travel, carrying my laptop and a small knitting project. I was thinking of adding a FS for the things I'd only need on the airplane, so I could leave the FS in the hotel and quickly convert the MB to a PLO for my stay. Do you think there would be room in the bag for laptop and FS and still have room for the aforementioned small knitting project, or anything else?

Great video. Will this fit the 12" MacBook horizontally?

I think that the bag is wonderful. The one thing that keeps me from investing in one is that I believe that this bag could get mighty heavy, considering everything that it can accommodate. A heavy crossbody ends up distributing all its weight onto the hip below the shoulder that is carrying the bag. My experience is that the most beautiful bag in the world will sit in my closet if carrying it proves uncomfortable.
Do you find the bag heavy to carry when it is packed out?

I agree completely have to get a bag that is light and comfortable and this does look heavy even before it is packed out

Now if TB could just make a smaller version so us girls can use it for a purse then I might want to buy one. Thanks for making this video. It's a lot more informative than just looking at still photos in the forums. What brand are your ear buds? I like that they come in a hard case.

      Hi Alisa!
If you feel that the Maker's Bag is too big for you, TOM BIHN's Small, Medium and Large Cafe Bags are similar to the Maker's Bag in design, though the organizational pockets are different. The Maker's Bag has many uses, one of which is as a knitting bag. Given that they came out with the Swift and then the Little Swift for the knitting community, let us hope that we will see a little sister to the Maker's Bag down the road? :)
The earphones are the ATH-IM02's from Audio Technica. They provide a very accurate reproduction of the sound. I also really like that the cable is removable, so that if there is an issue with the cable, it can be easily and less expensively replaced. I prefer the cable that came with the earphones in terms of comfort, but I replaced it with the one you see in the video because it has a microphone and call/audio control for iOS and Android devices.

Interesting about the headphones. I would need a pair with a mic as well. You're not the 1st person to recommend the AT brand. As far as bags go, the Cafes are the wrong orientation for me. I like a horizontal bag. The others are too deep, and it's too annoying for me to find stuff. I wish they would bring back the Imago. That's exactly what I wanted but they were discontinued before I could get one. Do you think the Makers is larger than the Imago? Once in a while I see one on the bay but they look like they've been run over by a car.

+Alisa Nicole The Imago's capacity (13.5 liters) was actually greater than that of the Maker's Bag (12.5 liters) by 1 liter.
I have used the Imago, and it is a fantastic messenger bag! I prefer the organization in the Maker's Bag. I also feel that it's design is better suited to a 13" MacBook Pro, though the Imago can accommodate a 13" MacBook Pro as well.

Sounds like you had forgotten about those expense reports lol.
