I think that the bag is wonderful. The one thing that keeps me from investing in one is that I believe that this bag could get mighty heavy, considering everything that it can accommodate. A heavy crossbody ends up distributing all its weight onto the hip below the shoulder that is carrying the bag. My experience is that the most beautiful bag in the world will sit in my closet if carrying it proves uncomfortable. Do you find the bag heavy to carry when it is packed out?

If you ever want to part with it, please let me know as i've been searching for the black halcyon version for ages :)

How many cards can you fit in it? It seems to have similar specs to my Chums Surf Wallet which I love and carries a lot even tho it’s small. Taking cards out can be a bit difficult because I have it packed. Would love something that could hold just a bit more

Thank you 👍 I'm on the opposite side of coffee drinkers as I just use an immersion heater to boil water in a collapsible silicone coffee cup and use a collapsible sea to summit portable coffee dripper😀 But, if I ever want to get fancy I'll remember the aeropress. I like those pouches though and never ran across them on the Tom Bihn site yet.

If only they would bring this back, really liking the idea of a main bag + a small sling/backpack for daily use.

Hi do u still use the pilot? Do you find that the difference in size between the CO-Pilot and the Pilot is negligible that is it better just to carry the Pilot everyday and then when needed for a 13” laptop you use the same bag? Thanks

Would you the Co-Pilot or the Pilot for EDC? The Pilot just does not seem the much bigger than the CO and you have the added benefit if u do need to pack it out - perhaps a pilot in Halcyon?

I have had mine for just over a year. I got the bright green one (not pictured in this video). The elastic band has completely stretched from use. I can pull it diagonally around the wallet now. Also, I would recommend getting a black one or darker one as mine has become stained with dirt. I don't keep my Tesla key in mine, as I don't own a Tesla. I keep mine in my front pocket, as I have since I began carrying a wallet.

Great video, this year in 2021 Tom Bihn released this color combo again so I bought one too. I have this bag in burnt orange ballistic but it’s a little heavy. What I love about this bag is that it can fit size 12 dress shoe which I can fit In a Aeronaut 30 end pocket packing cube.

I noticed that guide vs normal edition do use different sternum straps. Any observations which you might share? One is plastic the other is metal. Which one do you prefer if any?

Just ordered mine in 1050 steel and Island. I traveled to Europe last year and the airlines were crazy strict over there. Decided to just invest in a quality travel bag. If I go a long duration I can wear my Synik on my back and carry the tri star on my shoulder 😉

Would this fit a norelco electric razor?

Although it is a good small bag but it looks weird wearing in backpack mode.

I thought only women fell back on all black clothes. I wear white when I travel, winter or summer, and pack color. Not crazy, but lovely calm color. I avoid black. Navy blue is reserved for 'serious' events. Winter in the States already looks like a pallbearers' convention. Traveling in yoga pants for men sounds like a great idea. No removing belts for security. I do wonder about drying wool garments when in hotels. It's a process at home. I like the bag. I'd need another for travel comfort items and electronics.
