Thanks for the content, I would have purchased a Goldwing but I vertically challenged, my Roadmaster allows me to flat foot the bike. I do like the Goldwing
I test ride the Road Master today for the 1rst time at Ocala Florida Indian Demo day. Very torquey and impressive. It was a nice low ride. The V Twin feeling so different from the Wing. Indian is making great bikes. Thanks for watching.
Man you said it Rich. Excellent narrative. Most definitely more “basic maintained” friendly and engine protection as with other years. A TFT colored touch screen and a Volt meter. Many say a saddle. But to me these are like a pair of boots or shoes. It’s really difficult to please a large scale market with excessively large to small riders and their physical conditions. Nearly impossible. That’s really why, thankfully, the aftermarket is so important and huge. I realize what you pay for a premium motorcycle but there isn’t a perfect product. Only what is perfect for you. My 22 ultra blue DCT Tour Airbag my 3rd Gold Wing. I go to the local dealership Demo Days and continue to ride. But all roads for me have come back to this game changing DCT. The manual version does have the Assist and Slipper clutch off their sport bike models, making it incredibly smooth from previous years Wings to row through the gears. This you already know quite well. 😂 That’s my story and sticking with it. Good topic again Rich. Safe travels and miles of many smiles. Woohoo!
As always RG. You nailed it again. Excellent points on even the seat. Comfort for different folks are specific. Great stuff and thanks for watching. Ride safe.
Another simple add for the Goldwing is a Battery Tender connection. And like you said, more color options. A quick release trunk would help the bike look more sporty when not riding two-up or touring. Those are my wants. If they do those, I’ll likely add a Goldwing to my garage!
Your dealership would be happy to add a Battery Tender connection. They might even throw in a Battery Tender if you purchased a Gold Wing. Mine did both.
As a present Harley rider, for the last 45 years, at 72 years old, I see a Tour DCT as my next bike. Harley is pricing themselves out of my fixed income market, and the weight of my Ultra is getting a little too much for me to handle at my age. This latest generation of the GW is the first iteration of the wing I’d buy. I used to call the m ‘Lead Wings’, now they’re lighter than my 940lb. FLHTK.
If Honda keeps going in the direction that they are IE reliability, smoothness, power etc. We will stay with Gold Wings. If I ever leave Honda, It's an Indian for me. We are currently on day 178th day of our bikecation. Air filter...Man o man. We changed our own filters and the first one was a pain in the bleep! The second time was easier, not easy but easier.
I absolutely loved and was thrilled with the Challenger and Pursuit. The Pursuit is huge. The Challeger was awesome. I still believe the Goldwing is King. What dates are you in Daytona? Would love to meet you guys.

Can’t beat the Goldwing! No matter what the year!😂😂😂
100%. The more I learn the more I love and appreciate all the Wings. Iconic. Thanks for watching.
You got that right Rich. Well said.

A battery tender is a easy fix. No problem.
