Dolph Ziggler had everything you would want in a main eventer. Great promo ability, charisma, amazing bell to bell. But WWE didn’t see him as THE GUY. Yes he was World Champion but it wasn’t good enough for Vince and people in the higher ups

Its by no means average, dudes fit asf. But compared to big guys that Vince liked like Hogan, Batista, Roman, Rock, etc. you can see how guys like Ziggler didn’t fit the vision he was going for in terms of physique

I always thought of Dolph Ziggler being the "new" HBK, as they have similar in-ring technique, similar character/gimmick, similar body visual... and since HBK is my GOAT, I would've loved to see Dolph as a biggest star of WWE

I blame almost all shortsighted, mishandled, bad creative decisions before 2023 on Vince McMahon. He was over the hill and made way too many dumb decisions his last 10-12 years at WWE.
Bray Wyatt, what's even worse is that wwe after his death all the sudden praise him and treat him like he was a top guy when his booking was dog 💩 and they buried his Fiend character to the ground, should've beat Cena at Mania (the one with the actual match not that cinematic crap) should've never lost the title to Orton at Mania, lots of fuckery. The guy literally for years had a losing streak at Mania so I dubbed him as ReverseTaker

I think WWE aka Vince really did a disservice to Dolph…in the beginning I didn’t like him but he grew on me…time and time again he came and did his thing…so much talent, can talk on the mic, great in the ring etc…everytime I was hoping for a push that never came and then they let him go…I was sad but happy he’s finally free…
Sandow was another one that got over and Vince never really push him lol I thought he was good and really enjoyed what he did with The Miz.
I use to watch NXT and use to be nervous when the top stars on the show were called up to the Main stage…I knew it was the beginning of the end…
It was sad to see Sasha Banks get called up to never really being used fully like the others and she was good as hell. Now she’s gone…
I’m hoping under Triple H, (if everything goes well with the merger) that he will be able to continue to do great work with the talent there and give everyone a fair chance to shine. So far it’s going good and I’m enjoying it.
EC3 was a huge disappointment on WWE's part. They should have just not signed that man.

Between Dolph Ziggler, EC3, Rusev, and Wade Barrett I think EC3 had the worst run and Dolph Ziggler had the best. In my opinion Wade Barrett should have had the worst run and Rusev the best.
No offense to Wade Barrett but even if Nexus was booked right he wouldn't still be a top guy in the PG/Reality Era with John Cena, CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, Randy Orton, and The Miz around who are better on the microphone and arguably better faces (The Miz in 2019 feuding with The Bar and Shane McMahon proves my point and so does his feud with Gunther).
Rusev should have been a WWE Champion, especially with his Rusev Day gimmick. He definitely could have had multiple midcard title reigns and maybe one of two more world titles.
EC3 definitely should have stayed in NXT longer enough to become North American Champion and NXT Champion before moving to the main roster and given a better gimmick. Something on the lines of Mr. McMahons golden children, a combination of Mr. Kennedy as his illegitimate son, "the next big thing", or the chosen one like Drew McIntyre and Austin Theory. Something similar to his TNA run or anything other than a mute superstar which would have worked better if he kept the name Derrick Bateman.
Dolph Ziggler had the best run despite terrible world title reigns, and I'm including his unnecessary NXT Championship reign. That didn't do anything for Bron Breakker or Dolph Ziggler and would have made more sense if Dolph Ziggler just lost to Bron Breakker a few times. He was already at that point in his WWE career where he was putting younger talent over (Baron Corbin, Shinsuke Nakamura, Kofi Kingston when he was WWE Champion, Tyler Breeze)

Dolph Ziggler had an average physique? Man he had one of the best physiques in the company to date and kept up with it up until his release! They just refused to book the man the way he deserved

Dolph’s release was kinda expected cos he was barley used in 2023 same for 2022 and 2021 he was barley used honestly can’t say I didn’t expect it triple h disappointed us with that
Yea it was kinda weird that they barely used him at all on TV in the last 2 years of his run. I hope they bring him back at some point but I think it might be too late for a main event push now

The trick is, WWE shouldn’t push people right off the gate. Let the fans accept them first
Dolph is probably the biggest waste in WWE's history. He had the looks, great in-ring work, always seemed like a hard worker & a company man (shown by him staying with the company for so many years despite never being a true main event player, yeah you can make the argument "he stayed for money" but he never felt like that type of wrestler, not to me at least) yet he never was even close to the main event card. Yes, he held the Heavyweight Championship but it was like Hunter said in Punk's doc: "...sometimes we're just going to put the title on you to hold it for a while..." kind of like a "reward" for your hard work and loyalty.
Rusev could've been that heel european character easily, and when everyone got behind him with the Rusev Day thing, once again, they never did anything with him. The fact that he moved to AEW for better treatment and ended up worse it's just sad.
Wade Barrett should've been a big player as well. Once again, look, wrestling ability, good mic-work. Nexus should've been big but Cena didn't see what everyone else did. After their eventual split, regardless of current events or other potential events (if Cena put them over), he should've been the main stand-out coming out of that faction but nothing happened.
With Hunter and better writers in charge of the company, they're in a better position when it comes to these situation, as of now at least.

Dolph being the last survivor was so good, couldve easily had him become a main eventer after that

with Rusev, i kinda knew it will all go downhill. as WWE at that is always consistent with the "russian, soviet" gimmick. good thing i didn´t saw Rusev dancing like Koslov

I know cena says he doesnt bury talent etc etc but even HE said in a nutshell he buried the nexus/wade. He killed the momentum and its sad cause wade had talent both in ring and on the mic and the nexus was a threat. Me personally I dont watch the wwe anymore I just know what i get told by others. From what I have seen thought they have way too much talent and the ones they push, they knock down back to the mid cards or bottom. After Roman, Seth and even Cody who else will they have? These guys wont be around much longer. Even the womens division isnt exciting or have big stars that the wwe will push and KEEP at the top. They have little to no stars and the ones they do have they dont keep stars. Ive always said though that triple h taking over is the best thing for the wwe because vince and his minions have no clue these days what the fans like.
