    Everything went smooth until trying to put the carb back on. I don’t understand how to get the left side in.. it’s impossible to get it to fit inside the rubber. What am I doing wrong? I’m this video he does it in a matter of seconds. I tried to copy each movement and it just doesn’t fit

    The screws on the bike are not actually Phillips. They are JIS, (Japanese Industrial Standard). That is why they strip easy. The taper is a bit different. You can get away with using a JIS screwdriver on a Phillips screw, but not the other way around.

    Hi Mate,
    A question;
    At 21:00 the needle you have,I was about to remove the needle and it dropped off from my hand,it has some rings/shims,now I dont know how to put it back :(
    There are 3 rings/shims,I dont know which where it goes?Do the shims go on the bottom of the needle or on top?
    Coud you help please?

      Just Me don't really understand what you're saying but go look at Yamaha parts warehouse and look up your model at the steamatic diagram, did you drop it on the floor or did it came apart don't understand what you're saying

    Hello, can you tell my what Model carb it is, a Mikuni? If, which one a Bst, VM.., TM.. what number, size? Sb put a different one in the bike we baught, no idea which but we might wanna go back to the original one, if I can find out which one it is. Thanks a lot, great video!

      Yes I think so I had five of these bikes and I did it all of them it's the same from 97 to 2007 all bikes are the same other than color
