Huge fan 😀😀
This isn’t the last time that Ned didn’t care about work place safety and regulations
This was so funny 😭😭😭
Is that cookbook still for sale? Cuz damn... aged like milk
No one cares but the reason why Keith's went wrong is because the enzymes in pineapple digest the meat when you leave it overnight, which makes it taste similar to vomit.
Yeees, I was so worried the whole time and I hate that people in the comments shit on Rosanna for her "exaggerated reactions" even tho the meat would actually taste vomit-inducing
@@divebarr752 Not just the meat, the cheese probably tasted like sour milk too
Oh that's actually really interesting!!
I've never had that issue when I've used pineapple or pineapple juice with meats and marinades and plenty of leftovers with pineapple in them. However, maybe I'm mistaken and I'm not understanding, this just seems like an unusual thing to have happened. Maybe some people have reactions to pineapple similar to cilantro where some love it and others think it tastes like soap.
@@kraziiXIII Well, like some one pointed out it could be also from the cheese which I would honestly bet on. The only thing I see happening with the meat is the rendered fat from the pork not resting well with the now acidic cheese
Eugene season 1: I wanna showoff my culture and my personality
Eugene now: B a l l s
And alcohol
Hey, that's still his culture and personality
But those nails too! 💅
I feel like he’s becoming comfortable finding who he is. Matt is so good with him
He went full 14-year-old boy in this and I loved it.
i’m so sad for keith just because he wanted so badly to make something good for kevin 😭
He was really screwed by the decision to leave the meat overnight. Pineapple tenderizes meat really quickly, but if left for awhile it basically becomes digested meat. Had he served it the same day he made it, it would have probably been good. Had he known that he could’ve probably spent the second day, cooking the noodles and the last day cooking the pork with the pineapple. Zach made the same mistake with the dumplings but because he used tofu it probably wasn’t as egregious.
I know, it's the most I've seen him hurt by a judge's reaction ;-;
right? like keith just wanted to impress him and his dish idea wasn't even bad, I'm heartbroken for him :(
I did like that Kevin gave constructive critique though, he's just such a wholesome guy for wanting to help them improve.
I'm surprised he didn't learn from Zach in the dumpling episode that you don't ever leave meat or protein with pineapple overnight
Disappointed Eugene’s dish wasnt called “Sack and Cheese” at all but okay
Such an underrated comment 😂

The fact that he didn't mind feeding floor noodles to Rosanna Pansino feels like a crime.

It's unsanitary in general

Ofc ned is the one to do something like that
I kind of love that we all find Keith's tantrums funny because he tends to laugh at his mistakes and goes for the comedy aspect of the extreme reaction. Where as Ned's tantrums always sound like a spoiled child not getting his way.
the little jump he did about cheese really cements this fact because children do that full body stomp when they dont get their way
Agreed
I’m so glad someone else sees it. While I don’t exactly enjoy the extremity of of either tantrum you can definitely tell the energy are coming from two different places.
now y’all say this but before he cheated, it was funny 😐
Ned and Keith: *mental break downs*
Eugene and Zach: "I'm so glad we cooked these yesterday! :)"

Loved that!
@@riskyy2657 here's your attention. Fetch.
@@megafoodie6984l
If anyone was wondering, I believe the reason Keith’s Mac n cheese tasted so much worse the day they served it is because pineapple contains the enzyme bromelain. Bromelain breaks down proteins, which makes it great for marinating and tenderizing meats, but it also curdles milk/cheese, which, I’m assuming, is why it tasted so bad. It probably tasted like spoiled milk.
Annnd I've found the comment that made me taste a youtube video. Thanks, I hate it, lol.
So if he serves it fresh would it be okay or would it always gave spoiled regardless?
@@Harri_Jay_Kay I think if it sat too long it would taste 'spoiled' even on the same day
but fresh it would almost Definitely be Fine and taste fine
I think thats exactly what happened to Zach's dumplings in the WAR dumplings video.

It's amazing how much better the new episodes are without Ned's smug, know-it-all b.s.
YES!!! And the tantrums every time something goes wrong. The new episodes are just more fun without him 🙃
Agreed. Whenever he gets loud I'm like, dude you can't be Keith. Episodes are far more pleasant now.
I was just thinking I wish he wasn’t here
Salty much? 😂
It also feels good to know we missed all his tantrums from losing every episode of the new season. Considering they left in the clip of Rachel saying "you're scaring our judges." Bullets dodged.

^Because unfortunately, this isn’t GMM, and they don’t follow that rule. But they absolutely should
On the one hand, yes, Rosanna has suffered plenty, floor dough doesn't need to be added to the list. On the other hand, Rosanna has suffered plenty, floor dough might very well not be the worst...
*Why did the try Guys leave such a hateful comment on my recent video. really. wow*
I love how in the early episodes Rosanna was so shy about giving any criticism and now she's like "I just threw up."
She understood the assignment 😝

Omg 💀
No literally 💀💀💀
has anyone made a fan comp of bad things happening to ned yet? I think that would be somewhat if not very satisfying

There’s something so wholesome about Keith getting so excited to serve his dish to Kevin because of how much he enjoys his cooking. He seems so genuinely happy to be doing this for him.

It's the opposite of that "fuck you Ezekiel" thing.
I think its the man’s voice lol he says it like in a very calm and serious voice and Ned just being embarrassed or just Ned in general just made what shouldve been a normal exchange replayed 50 times
I love how ned and keith's table is crisis and chaos and Eugene and Zach are just playing with waffles and balls

It's so sad watching Ned plug his "Datenight Cookbook" knowing now what was going on behind the scenes. I feel bad for his wife.
i got so angry watching that bit, holy shit
Honestly, anything related to Ned is a lot harder to watch now. Before, he was my second favorite try guy. Now, he doesn't deserve to be part of them.
Just google it. There’s only about a million articles about it.
And it seems like she stayed with him 🤦♀️
I bought it on sale at like a discount store for $4 just out of morbid curiosity and it's been almost a year and I think I've made one or two recipes. There are so many pictures of them in the cookbook and so many stories, it's like a scrapbook of their relationship and it actually makes me sick,

For the past few days I binge watch this series, I notice Keith is so kind and supportive to his friends when they encounter a problem with the dish they are making. Now I am rooting for him to win for the next season of without a recipe. :)
Hes so supportive no matter how strange their plan is 😂🖤
@@Mmorguemusic And regardless of whether his friends want his support or not. ("DON'T use the oil! No matter what, DON'T!")
In one episode Keith shushed a timer in this super gentle tone and it was too funny. He's even nice to the equipment. 😂
the thing that morphed with keith's mac and cheese is that pinapple has enzymes in it, enzymes that can cook/dissolve meat, so that meat was rotten, because it was left in pinapple enzymes for 12 hours, so all im going to say is that rossannas body was right to try and get it out.
I was searching the replies for this to confirm that's what it was. lol
I think the same thing happened to Zach that time he put pineapple in his dumplings

How is this show not X rated??!!!
and when he compliments Neds spices! lol so cute ☺️ Keith is so supportive and Ned was SO proud haha 💕
I love them so much! They handle each other so well!
Such a cute moment!
Zach jokingly saying that tasting food while cooking is cheating is hilarious because that's a CARDINAL rule for any chef that knows what they're doing.
I ain’t no chef, and most of the time I don’t taste what I’m making - even when making a recipe I’ve never made before. I /think/ I just tend to forget to taste, but I don’t know for certain
Yeah, if the goal is to make tasty food, you should taste it. But if the goal is to unleash chaos on earth, making it decent defeats the purpose
Hey if it's cheating than ned's doing it
If you're a professional chef and do the same recipes every day you really don't have to taste it. But that's for really really advanced chefs
The way Keith's face gets a little red upon being judged, he looks like he's ready to cry and I can't handle it 😭
Keith is too precious, it makes me so sad 😭

As a Mexican myself who enjoys all types of cheese and of course knows about queso fresco, it's quite funny to see Ned having a clumpy cheese sauce, not only because now I despise him, but because it's clear that this guy ignores that certain types of Mexican cheese don't melt easily.
Certain types of queso fresco will melt quickly and some others will probably take a long time. If you, dear reader, want to try some mac and cheese with a Mexican cheese, make sure to look out for the magic words "queso asadero" and avoid Ned's mistake.
Also, avoid queso panela, it sucks, lacks any flavor and personality, is almost like plastic and white, you know, like Ned.
You think that moron would’ve learned about melting cheese after his pizza attempt 😂
Love both your comment and advice as a mexican-american who enjoys queso fresco 😊
NOT THE LIKE NED 😭😭😭
Sorry this might be a dumb question but which one would you recommend using?
@@elizabethqueen8260 Not dumb at all! Queso asadero is it's on kind of cheese so you would be able to find it labeled like that specifically. It's arguably the best cheese to use if you want it to melt in your food, like for quesadillas or like the mac and cheese in this video 😊
I think Zach is actually learning from his mistakes. It’s cool to see his progress over this whole series
Yes! Zach the underdog! ❤️❤️❤️
Agreed! I don't know how much of this is real and how much is plot creation (watch the Behind the Scenes on the Second Try channel), but assuming it's real, I love how Zach has gone from not caring and trying to do the most absurd things possible, to actually making the recipe without a recipe. Yay Zach!
And poor Keith! 😢 I don't know why mac and cheese was a 2-day challenge either, Keith.
I love how confident he was when working with kwesi in the donut episode he keep teaching him things that he didn't know what meant at the beginning of this series
@@musicmaniac32 my conspiracy theory is they put weird rules in to create bad dishes. In the fun Cinnamon roll episode they didn’t give them enough time to bake resulting in funny raw dishes. In the mac n cheese they split it into two days causing the cheese to get all gross in the fridge resulting in Keith’s tasting gross.
@@beebobber546 Oh, I definitely think you're right, but my complaint is that I don't think it's funny/interesting when the goal is to sabotage amateurs. I think it would be funnier to see what they'd create if they tried their hardest and weren't thwarted by the ridiculous rules - something akin to Worst Cooks on Food Network. Unless the Try Guys are secretly pro chefs, I don't think they'd end up with world class cuisine and we, the audience, would still find plenty to laugh about without being grossed out by judges eating raw dough or rancid pork belly.
I feel bad for Keith, he always genuinely tries but things just don’t seem to go his way :(

@@thatperson2478he tried to use the dough even after it fell on the ground, I think there’s a reason someone would feel disgusted by not only his infidelity, but also his gross ethics overall

yeah honestly every time i watch this it's just so upsetting that they did this to him
I really liked Kevin Bludso as a judge. He was able to be kind and supportive at the same time as critical, gave great constructive feedback, seemed pretty open-minded, and generally seemed glad to be there. Good judges make for a better show.

Eugene's "You may have thought balls was the lowest someone could hang, but the worst is yet to come" ending monologue hits different nowadays..
Why did Keith's dish look and taste great the day before but was horrible the next day? Its a cooking lesson for everyone: never combine meat and pineapple then let sit for any more than 2 hours. There’s a place near me that does chicken and waffle that you can request with a layer of Mac it comes with bacon and a bechamel sauce - so good but they also do a full Mac and cheese pancake that people love but I’m a waffle girl.
Syrup was an odd choice. I don't think people want sweet mac and cheese

Zach being calm was sorta refreshing
And the difference in background music between both pairs makes it even better 😂

I loved the storm clouds that accompanied the meltdowns!
Southern woman here: y’all should NOT have made the sauce the day before. And you should not have made your own pasta. I was more offended by it not being made all in one day. Keith’s rant was justified.
Exactly they should had done the pasta one day and the rest the next day
Georgia in the house 👋
Mac & cheese really isn't great with fresh pasta. You need hard dried noodles to hold up to the sauce and baking. Homemade fresh pasta that isn't completely dried tends to be very soft and luscious. You really need that firm aldente bite for mac & cheese.
I'm from a family of Italians. Know your pasta!
Tbf I don’t think the goal is to make the best dish, it’s to give them ridiculous limitations and make it chaos
Yes! They were set up for failure!
@@krysaboyce5353 knowing nothing about Mac and cheese; I don’t think that they were necessarily “set up for failure” sure they could’ve failed but the main bad things were their fault not the time frame’s or the producer’s. Also it’s just funnier that they failed!
I know Ned is a horrible person for what he did and it upset me horribly when I found out because I actually liked the guy, but even so I still love these old try guy episodes. I love rewatching them. Only now I just try to ignore Ned as much as the episode allows it and completely concentrate on the other guys.

Ned was my favourite. There, I said it. I used to adore him, I thought if I could be an ounce of the person he was, I could make the people who love me so happy. But then he wasn’t who I thought and I was trying to emulate a person who either was never real or who maybe was real but isn’t anymore.
These episodes make me feel sad and nostalgic and I don’t dislike it.

Despite Zach wanting to add M&Ms to everything, Eugene is the real M&M! Crunchy and hard on the outside, soft and sweet on the inside.
More like Chaotic Good Eugene
Lol. I feel like Zach is secretly Eugene's favourite.
I feel so bad for Keith ugh. This should all happen on the same day. Keeping stuff refrigerated overnight can literally change EVERYTHING!
100%. they made him mix his pineapple and meat for 24 hours when it should only be left for max 2.
Seriously? It's the fault of the rules of the challenge which he *heard before setting off* instead of him not cooking off the pineapple beforehand? Doing that would've totally saved his dish and he didn't know you were supposed to do it. It's not the challenge's fault. Nobody told him "hey you can't cook the pineapple", it was a ballsy move he did without knowing that it was ballsy, and it screwed him over.
@@THENAMEISQUICKMAN the chefs and production should’ve told him. pineapple literally breaks down meat making it taste like vomit and it can be harmful. health and safety should’ve immediately told him to either change the idea for this challenge or let him do it the next day. if he didn’t have to wait overnight he could’ve easily won

The pineapple should have been cooked down before adding it. Too acidic when it's raw and added to dairy products.

i'm with keith on this one, they really shouldn't have separated the stages for mac & cheese on this one, ik it's bc they have to share the kitchen & its for filming reasons but, you really can't refrigerate cheese sauce w/o mixing it in w/ the noodles first. Zach & eugene were smart in just making their pasta ahead of time & it's probably why zach's turned out better.
EDIT: woah, I didn't expect this comment to get so many likes lol. Ty for validating my opinions xD. But yeah, I agree with y'all, it feels like the assistants/bg staff sabotaged their chances for success with how everything is timed in these competitions. Honestly, I only watched this one because I thought they would all pass with flying colors. Otherwise, this series is just incredibly painful for me to watch all around. There really is no need for them to break up filming this to different days, unless this is sourdough or something, just let them film and make their dishes in one entire day and have them serve the food when it's at its best!
A loooot of logistics issues this season. Last episode, they didn’t have enough time to bake their cinnamon rolls and everyone’s rolls turned out raw.
@@HelloEurieka yeah, I hope they are going to change that. I especially dislike how it's made to feel like it's the guys's fault when they get such weird time limits
Came here to say the same thing. Cheese sauce should be combined with the pasta immediately while warm. Terrible thing to be stove reheated - the cheese will almost always separate.
and they filmed the cinnamon buns episode at the same time. So, if they had a dedicated a whole day to one episode they would have had more time as well.
There needs to be redemption episodes in the future.

Yup! Mac n cheese isn’t a two day recipe. I don’t understand why they would split it up into two days!
I was thinking the same thing. Reheating cheese sauce is a nightmare. Zach and Eugene benefited from the cooling time, but could have still made their dishes in one day. It really hurt Keith in particular. No one got to use the oven for that nice crispy top because of the overnight wait.
Evil Eugene probably would do well with Mythical Chef Josh as a judge more often since he’d be more receptive to his ingredients choices.

I agree with both points
That's why everyone is mad with him.
There were so many things that went wrong in this video that was the fault of the producers.
