Josh is bringing, perhaps uncannily matching, the absolute CHAOS with his comments - Starbucks? Pig’s blood? This guy’s baseline of normal is so fun to have with the traditional bakers, bless Mythical Kitchen 👏
If everyone's isn't cooked I think its more likely they weren't given enough time. Ned literally put them in straight away and still not cooked in time
Payton Bergman I think that the experts cooked theirs for that long since they were HUGE. Usually you’d bake cinnamon rolls for 20-25 minutes😭 I’m still not sure why they all had baking issues-
Yeah when it's an issue for ALL the guys it's definitely a sign there wasn't enough time for ANY of them. It's like if a whole class fails a test, that means the teacher didn't do their job right.
It’s sad all of their dishes were raw because they didn’t give them enough time to put cinnamon rolls in the oven. They didn’t even give them like 45 minutes, which is what the baker said you should put them in for, but they gave them 15 minutes less too!
i think the reason that the judge’s rolls take so long is the size (they’re genuinely head sized) whereas the boys didn’t make them nearly as big. i make small ones at home and it takes 15-20 minutes
The boys also consistently have issues with the oven, either replacing it or using the blaster that’s outside would work much better than their current oven.
@@ZaynMalik-sq2li the problem with the outside oven is just that it's much harder to watch your stuff while you do something else, so it ended up burnt a couple of times. they should either give them more time during the baking phase or just replace the inside oven

Josh is exactly the judge that this competition needs! He's open to their weird ideas, but still understands the process and requirements. Plus he's just as insane as the Try Guys. Please bring him back!
I can't explain it, but Zach yelling "it's my kitchen" while Josh is yelling "I do what I want" is on the same level of mindblowingly funny to me as Keith hissing "You will never meet my father" at the judges in an earlier episode.
Imagine that. Keith spents years trying to win on his cinnamon-raisin "Daddy's Favorite" and ended up losing the Cinnamon Roll battle because he didn't use cinnamon.
I can’t wrap my head on his decision not to at least sprinkle some cinnamon on the blooming onion bun! It wouldn’t change the savory taste he wanted, and it would’ve given it a pass as technically a cinnamon roll! Gah, “the irony” indeed…
@@jazlynwilson5420, to be fair the judges did not put any weight on them being underdone in the rankings. Now if they did weigh doneness, then that'd be bullshit.

Listen, adding Josh to this was a stroke of absolute fucking brilliance. Having him sit next to Rosanna Pansino kind of took it to another level. They should be your default panel from here on out.
Four things I always love about this series: 1) The cute animal clips 2) The expert saying "oh, you definitely do not want to do X"- cut immediately to any given Try Guy doing X. 3) The judges' faces when they're trying to work their way through whatever is presented to them. 4) Ro gradually lowering her standards from episode to episode.
Josh's excitement when Eugene told em about the blood is unparalleled. He's the best guest judge, i really hope people find the mythical kitchen channel through this!
To whoever edits these: The cuts, the sound design, the backing tracks, y'all do so much to elevate the humor of the show and y'all are underrated. God, really listening to the backing tracks in particular, they're just.. prefect? Anyway, also to whomever choses the Generic Animal Cuts animal of the week? You're doing gods work and I love you.
Obsessed with Eugene’s reveal. You can see how all the judges were laughing like “haha he’s so dramatic, this’ll be fun” and then as soon as he lowers it onto the table just stunned silence. Their jaws dropped, the professional bakers were straight up horrified, none of them could say anything as they tried to comprehend what was in front of them. It was exactly what Eugene was going for and I am so excited for the rest of the season
Ro's one wish for today: A cooked cinnamon roll. Her bar is on the ground. Try team: Digging a tunnel underneath Ro's bar with a time limit 15-20 minutes shorter than what the recipe calls for.
Normal cinnamon rolls, the size they used, take thirty lmao. The giant ones take so long. The issue was them using the blast oven. It cooked the outside faster than it cooked the inside.
@@pissum420 So they were supposed to make perfectly normal sized rolls (ignoring the "creativity" criteria) and then ice them in 5 seconds? Yeah the blast oven was a mistake but they still weren't given enough time to begin with
The professionals' rolls bake for 45-50 minutes because their rolls are literally the size of goddamn basketballs bro. Normal/smaller sized ones should not take that long.
They were talking about massive sized ones. Normal sized cinnamon rolls take about 20-25 minutes to bake. So they were given enough time. The problem is they went for the blaster oven that cooks at a higher temperature so it cooks the OUTSIDE quicker-- but not the inside.
Josh should do a mini series inviting the try guys to the mythical kitchen to take their ideas, and make them work in the weird way that Josh always manages.
I'd love to have him as a permanent judge, he shares the chaotic energy perfectly and he's probably the only one who could react positively to something as crazy as pig blood cinnamon rolls due to his own crazy cooking show
Josh was so happy about Eugenes idea because it is totally something he would force Rhett and Link to eat in an episode of "will it cinnamon roll?" lol
Anyone kinda sadistically wonder what would’ve happened if they’d merged Ned’s with Eugene’s? The bloody idea with the phyllo dough, cause Ro did say it was kinda medical 🤣. That may have breached the line between terrifyingly fascinating and gag inducing fascinating 🤣🤣🤣
Zach: Tries to make just a simple cinnamon roll - completely misses Eugene: Doesn't try to make a cinnamon roll and just wants a bloody mess - makes the best cinnamon roll So the key for Eugene is just to try and do the opposite of what they're supposed to be trying to make
As the judges were talking about how Eugene’s dish was the most cinnamon roll-like tasting, you can see Ned and Keith having their own side bar of nodding and shaking heads in “damn it, he’s going to fucking win AGAIN with something crazy like pig's blood” 😂
Josh is the perfect judge for this series. He's willing to try any crazy and creative dish and he's able to match the energy of the loser when they get angry 😂
Out of all of the episodes, I honestly think that the judges for this one were the greatest. Every single one of them understood the assignment and knew what they were judging and didn't take it too seriously. They should all judge on the show more often.
I'd love to see Josh as a permanent judge. Great character and diverse knowledge of culinary. He knows the Vietnamese "bun bo hue" and special savory bread. Such an amazing judge!

This! I agree to the highest degree. Love how fun and knowledge he is. I always enjoy him on good mythical morning and kitchen and I just want more collab for without the recipe or new series
It definitely seemed unfair that the format of the game didn't give them enough time for their rolls to cook properly. Huge oversight especially when they had a professional tell them(the team) how long it should be baked.
@@Truecrimeresearcher224Yet they were only given 30 minutes to actually bake them. The bakery owner even said you needed 45-60 minutes. They were not given enough time on the last segment
I LOVED josh as a judge. He was so into it and I loved that energy. That being said, the guys were set up for failure with only 30 minute bake time. I’d like to see a rematch where they actually get enough time to plausibly bake their dish.
Watching these back makes me kind of glad he isn’t part of these episodes he’s so damn boring , the others are having fun and doing crazy stuff and he’s just basic white B**** aura the entire time 😂
Also I am just realizing the point of the pigs blood being safe is it was supposed to cook out, so for “drama” they really risked giving dangerous unheated pigs blood dough to the judges…
@@Jellybeansatdusk the pigs blood was cooked out before it was even added to the cinnamon roll……so the rolls being raw has nothing to do with that. It was safe.
“Can you taste the… blood?” “It tastes like a cinnamon roll, yeah.” “Are you… horrified at least? A little bit?” “I was at first, but now less.” Well, if that’s not Eugene’s entire character arch since the moment he became a Try Guy 😂 Wow. Scary. Intense. Shocking. BUT ACTUALLY THE MOST PRECIOUS CINNAMON ROLL
His recipe was much larger and the volume of ingredients and size of the cinnamon rolls was far more than what the guys were making. the bigger a recipe, the longer it bakes. when I make cinnamon rolls at home, it takes them about 15 to 20 minutes to bake all the way through. what screwed them over was their inconsistent dough from poor activation and proofing, too thick pieces (eugene's hands and keith's bowls in bowls in bowls), and the presence of texture-altering ingredients (pig's blood, filo dough, acidity from so many onions, etc.).
“It’s a worse version of a blooming onion and a worse version of the cinnamon roll” two minutes later “I had no problem with it, Keith, they bullied me into it”
When the judges are listing all of the things they want from a cinnamon roll and Rosanna just wants it to be cooked haha. She knows to keep her expectations low from this show!
TBH, Josh should be a permanent judge on this show. His experience with wildly creative and questionable meals on Mythical Kitchen makes him uniquely qualified.
And like hed be the only one to be willing every time to take a bite. The man knows what the cooked genitals of way too many animals tastes like and has eaten raw cows tongue with Abe Lincoln on camera… they just need him to be there to say that honestly he’s had worse.
I lost it when Keith said “I bet everyone’s thinking, where’s the onion?!” 😂 💀 and then the look of utter confusion on the judges faces really did me in 🤣 I had to pause to catch my breath

Josh's face of pure bliss as Eugene is describing his cinnamon rolls as everyone is in utter shock is the most Josh thing ever
Rhett and Link are like jfc now we have to have baked blood food tests.
blood food is usually a punishment in his line of work 😂
I was hungry before watching this… I’m not anymore, my stomach is as shocked as I am 😂
The Joshiest Josh to ever Josh. 😆 it was such fun to watch!
Being from the GMM kitchen, seeing pigs blood was like reuniting with an old friend. 😂
I like when Keith and Eugene are paired up. The banter is hilarious.
Zac is great but Keith and Eugene have always carried this
I love the different dynamics between the try guys! Keith and Zac are wholesome, Zac and Eugene are like a married couple arguing, and Keith and Eugene have the best witty banter 😂
Josh is bringing, perhaps uncannily matching, the absolute CHAOS with his comments - Starbucks? Pig’s blood? This guy’s baseline of normal is so fun to have with the traditional bakers, bless Mythical Kitchen 👏
His reaction to TikToks made me realize how much I judge food I don't understand. I respect his adventurousness.
He’s such a great judge for this show. I hope they bring him back again.
Honestly Eugene was so lucky he did the pigs blood when Josh was a judge.
If everyone's isn't cooked I think its more likely they weren't given enough time. Ned literally put them in straight away and still not cooked in time
in a cutaway to the experts he said to bake for 45-50 minutes and Ned made a commitment about having only 30 minutes
Payton Bergman I think that the experts cooked theirs for that long since they were HUGE. Usually you’d bake cinnamon rolls for 20-25 minutes😭 I’m still not sure why they all had baking issues-
Though with the extra baklava layers in between, hard to say if it would’ve cooked properly in 45 minutes anyways.
Yeah when they said they had 30 minutes when the expert said he took 45 to cook his, I was concerned
Yeah when it's an issue for ALL the guys it's definitely a sign there wasn't enough time for ANY of them. It's like if a whole class fails a test, that means the teacher didn't do their job right.
One of these days I want Ro to just go "No. You know what, nobody wins. Nobody gave me a cooked product and I'm tired"
They didn’t have any time to cook, you want cooked products give them more time.
It’s sad all of their dishes were raw because they didn’t give them enough time to put cinnamon rolls in the oven. They didn’t even give them like 45 minutes, which is what the baker said you should put them in for, but they gave them 15 minutes less too!
exactly!! not even just this episode, they constantly are given not even time and the judges always say "well if you had more time"
i think the reason that the judge’s rolls take so long is the size (they’re genuinely head sized) whereas the boys didn’t make them nearly as big. i make small ones at home and it takes 15-20 minutes
They have 4h over 2 days for each dish so they had plenty of time
Everyone's talking about Josh's reaction to the pig blood but the 'starbucks creative' comment was BRUTAL. Please bring him back for more WAR his energy is amazing
yes
Agree!!! He should be a regular judge!
The unintentional tour through the office is fantastic.

YES!!!
he honestly needs to be a staple along with Rosanna
Totally agree!! Please bring him back!!
And he’s easy on the eyes 😏
Definitely!!
I can't explain it, but Zach yelling "it's my kitchen" while Josh is yelling "I do what I want" is on the same level of mindblowingly funny to me as Keith hissing "You will never meet my father" at the judges in an earlier episode.
It was heckin funny to see Josh standing up yet laughing
The fact Zach said “I’m so good at this” then the whisk immediately broke has me dying 🤣

@@scarredshortstv7954 wtf that is horrible
1000% need Josh judging with Ro again. They both have immense technical knowledge, but the way Josh encourages the bad ideas is gold.
He clearly needs to be Ned’s cooking mentor 😂 both of them love bad ideas!
@@silja6838 The way he lit up when Eugene said "Blood" was great. If anyone knows how to cook with blood, it's Josh lol
yessss. i especially love that josh matches the “aggressive” energy of the boys when they lose

What happened at the fashion show?

Ooooohhh
Imagine that. Keith spents years trying to win on his cinnamon-raisin "Daddy's Favorite" and ended up losing the Cinnamon Roll battle because he didn't use cinnamon.
Now that you said it, this is so funny to me.
The irony!!! Lol
Right?!
I can’t wrap my head on his decision not to at least sprinkle some cinnamon on the blooming onion bun! It wouldn’t change the savory taste he wanted, and it would’ve given it a pass as technically a cinnamon roll! Gah, “the irony” indeed…
Judges all terrified of Eugene’s rolls
Rosanna: “CREATIVITY IS GREAT 💅🏽🥰🤩🌸🍰”
This is really late, but I highly doubt Josh was terrified. The man loves pigs blood.
She knows not to expect anything normal 💀

The moment when Eugene is being evil and Ro delightedly squeals “me too” and flaps her hands is comedy gold.
Listen, adding Josh to this was a stroke of absolute fucking brilliance. Having him sit next to Rosanna Pansino kind of took it to another level. They should be your default panel from here on out.
Yes.

YEEAHHHHHHH
WE NEED MORE JOSH!
I AGREE STRONGLY
The way josh was so stoked to see the blood rolls makes him perfect to judge this season and all future try guys cooking videos
Four things I always love about this series:
1) The cute animal clips
2) The expert saying "oh, you definitely do not want to do X"- cut immediately to any given Try Guy doing X.
3) The judges' faces when they're trying to work their way through whatever is presented to them.
4) Ro gradually lowering her standards from episode to episode.

Every single cut to "Butter, Cinnamon, Sugar" left me in increasing hysterics
Girl me too 😂
Obsessed with Eugene’s reveal. It was exactly what Eugene was going for and I am so excited for the rest of the season
this gave me chills
bit dramatic don’t you think?💀
Ro's one wish for today: A cooked cinnamon roll. Her bar is on the ground.
Try team: Digging a tunnel underneath Ro's bar with a time limit 15-20 minutes shorter than what the recipe calls for.
Accurate
Normal cinnamon rolls, the size they used, take thirty lmao. The giant ones take so long. The issue was them using the blast oven. It cooked the outside faster than it cooked the inside.
@@pissum420 So they were supposed to make perfectly normal sized rolls (ignoring the "creativity" criteria) and then ice them in 5 seconds? Yeah the blast oven was a mistake but they still weren't given enough time to begin with
That and they cooked the rolls at 375 instead of 350. I really wish they didn't count stuff like cooking, cooling, and waiting in the time limit.
Rosanna is like their indulging mom who tries her hardest to love them as gentle yet firmly as she could.
she reminds me of welsey mom in harry potter!
I love Ro. This isn't her first rodeo.

SO TRUE LOL
Expert: "I cook it about 45-50 minutes"
Ned: "We only have 30 minutes!"
Uhhhh I think I know why they were all raw
10/10 agree! I wish cooking time wasn't incorporated into the challenge time. Give the judges something they can safely consume 🙏
right? I think that's kind of unfair if that's all they were given
Doubtful. Compare the size difference in the rolls. Normal ones take maybe 25 minutes. They just didn’t make cinnamon rolls.
I WOULD LOVE THIS
The funny thing was that I stumbled Avon him a couple days ago, and now he is in here!
Keith recently did an episode in the Mythical Kitchen with Josh. It's epic!

As a former Starbucks barista, Josh really nailed calling it “Starbucks creative”. My jaw dropped because he gets it😂😂
Just an absolutely FOUL insult I love it 😂

I absolutly didn't expect him to scream back at Zach lol
I'd love to have him as a permanent judge, he shares the chaotic energy perfectly and he's probably the only one who could react positively to something as crazy as pig blood cinnamon rolls due to his own crazy cooking show
i'm a bit surprised at how many people like him! i thought he was really annoying hahahaha
Eugene: tries to shock and disgust with pigs blood cinnamon rolls
Also eugene: basically accidentally makes a classic cinnamon roll only red

He was definitely taking notes
Anyone kinda sadistically wonder what would’ve happened if they’d merged Ned’s with Eugene’s? The bloody idea with the phyllo dough, cause Ro did say it was kinda medical 🤣. That may have breached the line between terrifyingly fascinating and gag inducing fascinating 🤣🤣🤣
@@elizacarrie7433 the philo dough would give it the bandaid texture it needed to truly be evil he could have named it like "Used Bandaid Cinnabons"
Them talking about Ned’s being “a skin graft” and “unsettling” when they hadn’t seen Eugene’s yet…😳
I know I was like just. You. Wait.
Zach: Tries to make just a simple cinnamon roll - completely misses
Eugene: Doesn't try to make a cinnamon roll and just wants a bloody mess - makes the best cinnamon roll
So the key for Eugene is just to try and do the opposite of what they're supposed to be trying to make
As the judges were talking about how Eugene’s dish was the most cinnamon roll-like tasting, you can see Ned and Keith having their own side bar of nodding and shaking heads in “damn it, he’s going to fucking win AGAIN with something crazy like pig's blood” 😂

That’s always annoyed me!
I was hoping someone else noticed!!

Well, if that’s not Eugene’s entire character arch since the moment he became a Try Guy 😂 Wow. Scary. Intense. Shocking. BUT ACTUALLY THE MOST PRECIOUS CINNAMON ROLL
This is such a sweet comment
He tries so hard, a very precious cinnamon roll indeed
You're like describing a scorpio
The fact that they have 30 mins to bake and then immediately after he said you need 45-50 mins is definitely gonna left us with raw dough
100% and weren’t they having like, oven problems?
tbf his were way bigger than theirs, he also said his had 14 eggs and ofc they weren't using that many
His recipe was much larger and the volume of ingredients and size of the cinnamon rolls was far more than what the guys were making. the bigger a recipe, the longer it bakes. when I make cinnamon rolls at home, it takes them about 15 to 20 minutes to bake all the way through. what screwed them over was their inconsistent dough from poor activation and proofing, too thick pieces (eugene's hands and keith's bowls in bowls in bowls), and the presence of texture-altering ingredients (pig's blood, filo dough, acidity from so many onions, etc.).
I agree. They should have had an hour
I just commented the same thing! Couldn’t agree more
Ned: *bakes anything ever*
Josh: It’s just.... Starbucks creative.
And he’d be right.
Her expectations were on the floor and yet the boys dug below ground level. Everyone presented undercooked rolls 😂
Last time she just wants it to be edible
TBH, Josh should be a permanent judge on this show. His experience with wildly creative and questionable meals on Mythical Kitchen makes him uniquely qualified.

"You need to bake them for at least 45 to 50 minutes."
No wonder nothing is ever baked/cooked through.
Right? It's almost unfair they gave them such a small time limit knowing it couldn't work. Wonder what happened behind the scenes to make that happen.
That is what I was thinking!
To be fair the batch the chef was baking was about twice as big as the batch the try guys were baking
