I have been doing this where I live in Canton Ohio. My family and friends think I am crazy..lol. I just take before and after pictures. Every time I go, I always pick one family member along with a veteran or child. I find it so relaxing and comforting. I love it. Are you doing a great thing. ❤

Just a little suggestion: get yourself a pair of rubber gloves (you know, like they use to wash dishes!) to wear in the Winter! Not only do they keep your hands from getting wet, they also block the wind from chilling your hands. If you can find a big enough pair, you can even wear a pair of warm gloves underneath them!

I actually have them already and I do need to put them onto my bucket.

That is what I was thinking too. You do amazing work, but you need to take care of yourself also. Thank you for caring for others.

Another wonderful job, Christopher! When I woke up around 8:30 this morning in Tallahassee, Florida, it was 23 degrees. The high will be around 54. This cold blast is definitely something for the books! We all thank you for braving this weather and doing your good deeds. Also, thank you for researching the people whose stones you clean. It's nice to know what they died from since humans are curious. :)

I need to make a video after they are all done in this area like I did or that last kids area. Just to show how bright they all have become. Each time I go out there, I look at ones I’ve always done, and want to share their current status with you all.

You should really contact that company about their product. They may at least give you free product for advertising for them. Ive seen thousands of yt channels do it

Lol. It would be nice to partner with a company like that, but my channel isn’t really that big or well known. So it’s ok.

As much as you care, I would have sprayed it down with the D2 and come back later as you could have sprayed a dozen or more in the same time and it wouldn't have been so cold for you getting your hands in the water. Start a story then come back later when it warms up to finish the job. I live in Alabama and it looks like February is going to be warmer (at least for us) but there's going to be many warmer days until then. But then, Alabama is further south and I know you don't always get the time away from work and so forth to do this. You did a great job and I admire that you were willing to do this but still, we don't want you in the hospital so maybe a different approach would be warranted? I'm sure her family appreciates what you did here as that's a beautiful stone. I wonder what she looked like? Think any photos were made of her when she was alive? Might add more to your stories if someone behind the scenes did some groundwork for you as you're obviously getting information about these people... and yes, this is a heck of a lot better than it was as we can read it now where being almost all black we couldn't.
    Great Job :)

It looked like you had a bit of a breeze (D2 flying away when sprayed) in addition to the frosty temperatures to deal with. Your "Cold. Cold. So cold." made me laugh (in sympathy). It sounded like something that my sister or I would say.
Meanwhile in Southern California, we are setting records in the upper 60s-low 70s. Too bad we don't have the humidity/moisture you have. We sure could use it right now. 😢

@VirginiaTombstoneRevival My grandmother's house of 45+ years (home to my late mother for the first 30 years of her life) is gone. What hurts more is that her whole community of Altadena is gone - her school, church, library, businesses she worked at or patronized, landmark historic buildings. It was so surreal to watch the governor on the news broadcast watching my mother's junior high burn. Feel so terrible for the families who lived there, who have lost their homes, belongings, and sometimes loved ones and pets, in all of our ongoing fires. I am so grateful for all the firefighters, police and National Guard who have come to help. Tonight, on the news, saw engines from Nevada, Arizona, Washington, and throughout California. The company I work for has its own fire department, and we have an engine and personnel in Altadena. California uses fire planes from Canada every year. They are dropping water and retardant as fast as they can. Mexico has sent firefighters and recovery crews who are working the Palisades Fire. Meanwhile, the wind continues to blow.

I didn't know people could get those in their brains! I've always heard of them being attached to the ovary, or testis. RIP Janet.

My man get some rubber gloves. Your hands will still be cold, but they’ll be dry.
