Football Manager 23 has arrived! I have spent a full day looking at it and to be honest have been overly impressed by the new features. So we will begin our year with Elgin City in Scotland
Chronic heart disease is a silent killer. After suffering myself, and recovering I have decided that should this channel succeed to dedicate it to raising money for heart disease research which amazingly is largely funded by donations.
Help me to help others who will suffer in the future by watching, liking, and commenting and if you do this only once you will go a long way to raising awareness and to hopefully in the future raising as much money as possible for this very worthy cause. Just came across your chanel while scrolling UA-cam and I'm absolutely thrilled :)
I have been watching football and playing games my whole life, but for some reason never mixed the two. FM seems more complex than I first thought!
This first match was amazing. Your guys fought until the end for that equilizer, what a pressure in the last minutes.

Looking forward to watching your series. Started my own journeyman save with Stenhousemuir, in this league! Spent 2 seasons, and moved on to Peru where i'm managing Universitario de Deportes currently.
from Scotland to Peru lol....Isn't that just why we love this game...and who knows where I will end up...I think in my next save I will start in my home town Woking....as soon as I get sacked which probably won't be long lol....thanks so much for your support...means the world to me

@@fm-oldmanphil I’ve found Scotland to be difficult especially at the league 2 level. Good local players want a higher level and it’s hard to attract loans. Some great goals scored in this game though!!!
@@adeyt205 I think it will be quite hard...as for the goals scored I do like the new game engine...I love the chaotic nature of the game and so many errors made...which I think is much more realistic
@@fm-oldmanphil Yes I agree. More errors make games exciting and unpredictable.

Pity that, looked like a tactical masterplan with the players you have on hand... too bad it got undone once the players at the back dallied with the ball too long... great video anyway!
Thanks for your feedback. I had made a mistake at the beginning ...I noticed I. had se them bot to ball playing defenders rather than central defenders. So hands up that was my error
@@fm-oldmanphil ah ok... hopefullly better luck next time. Although it will be hard for this particular cup competition because of the opposition you face. But you might do well in the league... are there 2 direct promotion spots?
Just the one I believe and then a complicated play off competition for the 2nd placed team
Interesting choice for a save. Is there anything that took you to Elgin?

It's Zealand's Skin....Big fan of it...Improves the game for me!
