CM on attack is wonderfull. I have so much succes wth a CM on attack

Carrilero can actually be really helpful, they basically stay wider in possesion, kind of a more defensive mezzala, helps when ur assym, or have very attacking flank players, essentially niche and pick up for spaces missed

Another thing, Messi is a Trequartista, Tomas Muller is like the only Raumdeuter and was even named by him since yk, he's literally the only one

Carrilero is a horizontal b2b. A dlf relies more on physical attributes to link up play compared to a f9 which uses more technical attributes.

Player traits are very important for roles, for instance if your mezzala comes deep to get the ball he'll never play the mezzala role as he's supposed to. Also Mezzala on support is goated, play someone like Martin Ødegaard there and he'll get 30-40 goals+assist if he has Inside forwards and poacher/advanced forward infront of him.

About the DLF... You say "you want your striker to score goals and not facilitate"... Well, there are teams around -and not necessariliy in lower leagues- where you have a strong, balanced striker with not much pace but good passing and vision. Alongside him you have wingers / inside forwards or attacking midfielders of any sort with much better finishing.
What are you gonna do?
You're gonna let your forward drop back and open space and facilitate :)
And trust me, it does work miracles with the right players.
And most of the roles in your lowest tier are roles you define as "I've never used it so it's bad" :)
Why are you doing a list in the first place if you haven't used most of the roles?
Or just name it "I haven't the slightest idea because I've never used these" instead of "bad" :) Some of those are useful when you use them properly.
@@ErdemOzkanJazz it’s an opinionated list, it’s not factual, these list is based on my experience with the roles, I’m not here to say, this is good use this, or this is bad don’t use this. Just sharing my experience with each role

@@BradTP I understand that all lists ever made by any human being have been and will be subjective at least to a certain extent and that is totally fine. If someone doesn't have an opinion about a role, that is perfectly fine too. However naming a role "bad" gives an opinion about it whereas you say you simply don't have one. I just wanted to say that it's some kind of a dilemma.
But hey... surely it's your list and your channel and you're entitled to do anything you want with it. Don't get me wrong.

Cariello is essential role if you use inside forward on attack on same side. And dm def is better than anchor imo.. i guess because I also rarely use a BPD so the DM comes into his own... but im lower league manager mostly.

@@BradTP the box to box is over rated imo, it requires such an elite level player to be worth it and at my level its better to have the carriello... easier to find the capable player and he doesnt find himself out of position as much as the box to box. He still gets forward on attacks just picks his runs better and arrives later.
@@pirateboyfearless CM roles I prefer DLP or AP, defensive side I just prefer BWM or just a DM
@@BradTP i play 2 CD WBs on both side a DM def in front of a cariello and a Adv play winger on right inside forward attack on left with a target man. Its pretty simple i guess but i dont need to change that set up till the prem from conference divisions.

An enganche is basically a static playmaker, or a static AP. They don’t really move around a lot unless it’s in the central of attacking midfield so they usually need a lot of players making runs in and around them. Think of Riquelme.

You’ve clearly never played with a defensive winger. It’s a pressing winger, great for getting early crosses in. They attack the opposing fullbacks.

car and rga in why is it a role would argue they could be in mid but atleast bad and pf atleast mid maybe you will play better amd how is L,Mez and T in bad Mez atleast will play better if not goat and L and T are defently not bad
Heard alot of complaints about Mez position
Wide target man in the history of football - Mario Mandzukic at Juventus when they got to the CL final
He was a striker forced out wide because there was a better striker at the club, but good shout
@@BradTP we talking Higuain or the ageing Carlos Tevez? Both instances he was more than good enough to take the striker role, it was more he wasn’t the “sexy” choice (Italian media words not mine)
Higuain scored 36 in 35 in Serie A the year before (which i'm pretty sure was a record at the time before Ronaldo broke it) and 24 in the league the season you mentioned, scoring 5 in the champions league too, was probably the best striker in the league during this time

U haven't tried many roles, but still you are making a video... thats weird.
It like "I haven read Tolstoy, but I dont like it"
I had great success with Libero, Halfback, Targetman, etc. But it's a matter of tactic and stats allocation
There is a plenty of youtube video explaining why eg Halfback is a great option
it's just a video dude, it's not a big deal

Hard disagree on the CWB. I always use CWB on ATK on both sides, and they're huge for me.
@@thomasfriesejr.9198 I guess a back 5 is the only good formation for them, I can’t think of a system where they’d be useful without 3 centre backs
@@BradTP I use a back 4. Gegenpress with 1 DM on DLP-DEF and 2 CM on AP-Atk.
It's very aggro, but I put a priority on defensive attributes for every position on the pitch, and I prioritize rock solid BPDs and that DM is usually a converted BPD, so those three really lock it down on the rare occasions that counters get through.

ranking Mezzala as bad is probably the worst take i ever heard about football manager 4-3-3 and one mezzala on attack guarantees u a lot of goals and assits. Scorer-wise probably the best midfielder role in the game.
@@t.m.6282 just had a lot more look from AP, DLP, CM(A) or just using an attacking midfielder
@@BradTP CM(A) was brutal last year. This Year its still good, but not as good as last year. Yeah AP is good. 4-3-3, DM + Mezzala and AP (both on Attack). Thats the way to go.
