I know it's not comparable since it was under strongman rules, but Mikhail Shivlyakov's 426kg deadlift at the 2018 Arnold Classic will always be my favorite grind
*Me seeing the first grind :* they get WHAT Edit : nvm it's the intro. Btw getting _"HOW"_ from a comentator gotta be the best compliment ever. Cicera is wild.
WOW! I know exactly what goes on in such lifts when you are in your RPE20 and start to shake like a generator. It happened at me in nationals in Deadlift. Thankfully I pulled it up with 3 whites.
Not powerlifting, but dammit if the most insane grind I've ever seen wasn't Misha Shyv's masters strongman deadlift record during Rogue Record Breakers!
recomendo que vocês olhem o Bitelo novo atleta de powerlifting do brasil que ja chegou quebrando records e seria ótimo para o canal ja que os brasileiros são tudo peste adoram quando são mencionados
Kyoto's "squat" is an absolute joke, a disgrace to the sport. Back has completely collapsed, no bracing of the core whatsoever, bar is so low that the weight is resting on the elbows instead of the back, basically he was doing a standing back extension. Terrible lift!
Back hasn't "collapsed". There's no physical way to not brace under a max load, the central nervous system prevents this. If I told you to unrack your 1RM and said "now just let the weight collapse on you", even if you TRIED the nervous system will kick in and brace for you. The bar isn't resting on the elbows. The error you're looking for is that he's probably slipping the bar below the allowed position on the shoulders.
people are different and for you conventional might be best stimulus to fatigue, feel better and perform better there are people who do better with sumo. you are literally built different than everyone else, and some are in a way that makes whatever you feel conventional is for you be what sumo is for them. its like grip width on bench, how far away you put your legs with squat and all that, its preference within a certain threshold. you might say ROM is smaller to where sumo should not be counted but eddie and thor did conventional, so if it is that advantageous, everyone would be doing it like arching on bench.
had a 6 second squat once (only 270 pounds lmao) one HELL of an experience, all i can really say edit: I noticed they start the timer from the very beginning of the lift, this was 6 seconds AFTER I had dipped below parallel. Going by their rules it was closer to 7-8. I still have that video 😭
I have a BP Video online with 18s movement, 14s fron cheast to lockout and squatted once 14s, 12s up. My everyday training is not under 7s total at the last rep in a set, most of the time 10s. And I'm not in the video... or a powerlifter. haha
*Did I miss any?* Would you like to see a part 2?
Good compilation. Id love to see one more of these 😁
Thank you!!
Yes, you missed RPE Rock's famous squat.
Rondel Hunte squat
Shyvliakov's deadlift has to be there even if its not the IPF world
As a french guy, just seeing Pana in the thumbnail makes me happy, and this announce a nice video ! 🇨🇵
Le goat en personne sur la minia

He isn't even French lol. He is greek. You can clearly tell he is Greek from his name. He just lives in France.
@@ThaRealDude The Greek GOD Pana!
Those spotters for the benchpress of Pana are true lifters, throwing words to encourage him as the grind is so hard ! Def a beautiful moment.
Just clicked on the vid, wondering how many clips of panash I'll see haha
Thank you @powerlifting-wolrd, for including my movement in your edition.
You're an absolute legend Cicera! 🙌
457 competiton standard at 48 is amazing, i just hit 495, gym lift. you're crazy.
Very impressive Cicera! What a lift.
I know it's not comparable since it was under strongman rules, but Mikhail Shivlyakov's 426kg deadlift at the 2018 Arnold Classic will always be my favorite grind
Agreed ! Even Thor was impressed
Many write about "Pana", but japanese guy squat and brazilian lady's deadlift is insane!!!
cause Pana has a lot of fans especially in france
Pana's RPE7 and 10's look the same.
thanks for including me ! ☺🔥
One of the most epic grinds I've ever seen 🤝🙌
@@powerlifting-world
Cicera also commented, I love to see people comment in videos they're in putting 342.5 kg on your back and moving it is ridiculous, congrats👏🏽💪🏽
i definitely know that pana will be included in this video.but who knows there's two
*Me seeing the first grind :* they get WHAT

❤
When anaerobic sports kinda become aerobic 😂😂
Love the editing
They need to make a stiffer bar for the super heavies to squat with. The bounce on Jesus's walkout was craaazy.
There are many stiffer bars available the IPF just won't use them. They require an identical bar for all three lifts.
i never understand why so much deadlifts get 1 red light?? they look perfect, what the hell is there to red light
Usually they don’t lock their lift. Which means shoulders and arms can be loose.
Sometimes they lock on side better than the other
Cícera Tavares 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
watching this 3 days before my meet
Good luck! 🙌
Great video thanks, imo, i think it will be better with the date(or at least the year) of the lift and the name of the compétition.
I remember one time when i hit a pr on bench lol.. damnnn i should've recorded it.. it was about a 15 sec grinder 😅
I've done a 15 second deadlift in competition but im not an ipf lifter so nobody gives a shit
Yeah
Yeah
Damn these were incredible grinds wow 👌
Cicera es una diosa, no más comentarios.

Almost 300kg for pana. what a beast at 66 weight class 👏🏻
Pana the goat
I just clicking to see Pana 🇫🇷
Wdym pana's bench is grind? It was rpe 6
Rpe 6 with a little misgroove, some would say
Sorry but what's that crazy music from intro/outro ?? I love it
Its funny to me that powerlifting should've been called weightlifting and weight lifting should've been called powerlifting 😂
Força bruta sempre será um bênção.
Don't goodmorning your squats!!! 6:06 😆
You have shit good morning form if it looks anything close to that.
Thought you weren’t allowed to do this 5:56
it was very sus, honestly
8:21 SHE'S 48? She looks 21!
Kyota didn't hit depth did he?
Not powerlifting, but dammit if the most insane grind I've ever seen wasn't Misha Shyv's masters strongman deadlift record during Rogue Record Breakers!
and all are natural of course ^_^
9:10 he literally helped him
Perspective can be deceiving but I can assure you that the spotters didn't touch the barbell
@6:40 Ben affleck? lol
great video guys but the subs are quite distracting
thank you for the feedback 🙌
I strongly disagree
I agree, prefer subtitles in the CC option so I only need to enable them as required

Quando ele competir pela IPF talvez apareça por aqui.
@erickPower1903obrigada Eric.
IPF is adorable 😂 all these quarter lifts are cute.
there competing against the best of the best, everyone can lift how they do it, yet they still lift more

I hate sumo deadlifting. Conventional is best.

I skipped the sumo deadlifts.
dude thinks hes cool doing that
