2018 Mazda 3 2.5 I changed mines out at 90k no check engine light or mist fires
Turbo models are recommended by the manufacturer at 40k. depending on how you drive and fuel you run you can definitely stretch that out 10 or 20k more but 40k change for a turbo engine isn't out of the ordinary. Crazy dealership here wants $320 to do this job.
The ngk are gapped correctly out of the box? Just hit 40k so I'll be doing this soon.
Yes all fine
How did you remove the hose on the right side?
just pull it off (and when done insert it back on)
I have the same question. My hose was really tight. Didn't come want to come off.
@@leechungwai What worked for me is you need to take a very small flathead screw driver and work it gently inside the hose to break the seal and then gently twist the hose on the tube back and forth until you detach. You have to take your time and don’t force it. This is how it worked for me. Others may have a different approach. Also I could not get the coil back on right without taking the hose off. Good luck
Tip for future viewers: when removing this hose, loosen the seal with a small flathead, then use both thumbs to push the hose off the metal pipe. Easier to push it off than pull it, in my experience.
I tried to shimmy the last coil in place without removing that tube and this morning my engine is knocking so I assume its off ha. Going to have to take the tube off this evening to get in lined up right@@NDStar100
My engine is running terribly after I replaced my spark plugs. Spark plugs were all gapped, hoses, boots and connectors all plugged back correctly. Any ideas? Thanks
Correct spark plugs? Faulty spark plug?
@@automtrcorrect spark plugs. Recommended NGK iridium.
I disconnected battery prior to removing anything.
Removed hose to have access to the 4th spark plug, removed spark plug boots, and spark plugs. Installed fresh new spark plugs, reinstalled boots, reattached hose, and connectors. Reattached negative battery terminal then fired up the car. The car now jerks, accelerating sluggish and the windows don’t roll down automatically.
URGENT ‼️ I am not able to insert 4th pipe(from left) in right now. It does not sit properly no matter what . I tired 100 times and it’s not sitting. Please help !
@@jayjani327any luck with this? Seem to be having the same problem.
@@audencoronado7275 yeah once I unscrew the plate above it, it gave me an inch of a room which was sufficient enough
