+michael kawaguchi - We thought you guys would enjoy that! There were a lot of Ferrari's driving by when we had the Alfa, as this part of PCH was being used for Ferrari test drives during Pebble Beach. Quite crazy to see so many in such a short space, but Ferraris are incredibly common in Carmel during Pebble Beach. It's Nuts. Thanks for watching close!
THIS CAR IS BY FAR MY ALL TIME FAVORITE CAR EVER. LIGHT DECENT HORSEPOWER A GOOD PUNCHY ENGINE NOT EXPENSIVE TO MAINTAIN LOOKS BETTER THAN MOST FERRARIS AND LAMBOS ONE OF THE BEST DRIVING EXPERIENCES NO NONSENSE NOT OVERLOADED WITH USELESS TECCHNOLOGICAL FEATURES AND ENTERTAINEMENT FEATURES AND ITS JUST BEAUTIFUL THANK YOU ALFA ROMEO FOR MAKING THE ULTIMATE EVERYDAY DRIVERS CAR.
Don't be too sure that the 4C will be inexpensive to maintain, or that it can easily be an everyday car. The cabin is tight, so it won't impress your passenger. The door sill is super high due to the CF tub, so it won't impress a date, especially one wearing a skirt.
superchan7 thats your point of view bud ! the way you look at things in a negative perspective is not the way i look at things. I just shared the positives, i don't worry about the door sills being high or cabin being super tight..I don't buy things to impress other people. My date (my wife) enjoys cars even more than I do so it aint a problem. She being smart won't wear a fucking skirt while driving or riding in a sports/supercar. Super chan 7 lol who are the other 6 chans...you need to look at things in a positive way and enjoy life don't crib about the small things in life that don't really matter much. Have a good day or night
+Vikram Goswami Taking passengers is a thing that you will do with an "everyday" car. Your passengers will love banging their knees into the A/C controls as I discovered when sitting in a 4C. It is a car meant to entertain the driver on the weekends, whereas a more practical competitor like the Cayman can actually fit real people and real luggage (I owned one for 4 years, literally as my only car). My current sports car is too tiresome to commute with, but I didn't buy it to commute as I have another car for that. But clearly you are focused on insulting me rather than defending the 4C, so this dialogue is moot. And what kind of grown man tries to make fun of someone's name?
superchan7 not making fun of your name mr chan... but you know what i aint got time for this crap. Enjoy your sports cars ! and hating on someone else's preference lol keep it up

I have to give Alfa kudos in regards to their exhaust note. I don't think I've heard another four cylinder powered production vehicle that sounds that interesting.
+coffeeblak86 such a rare color might be worth a lot more for such a limited car. and this particular example looks stunning in silver. unreal. wish there was a video about it.
"You've got a mural on the back of your Astrovan" hahaha I live right off the 1 and see that guy all the time. What a coincidence to see him on my favorite auto journalists' youtube channel!
Prices up like lots of cars, pretty stable. The window for inexpensive 4C has closed for now. But used very low mile examples are great drivers and not horribly expensive.
Awesome job on the La Ferrari spot in the comments guys!!!! I didn't see that at all!!! I really like the way motojournalists have revisited this car. Everyday Driver isn't the only "publication" that has revisited the car and the reviews are starting to align with what I would have expected. I have opined over the Ferrari for years now, and bought a Gen 5 Viper GTS instead because it was the smart choice, and I couldn't be happier..........but................I still long for a mid-engine Italian sports car. The Alfa offers those of us who don't make double 6 figures a year to actually afford a mid-engine Italian sports car. Because, as I quickly realized, it's not the purchase price that's going to bankrupt you. It's the trips to the shop................ My brother is a pediatric dentist and I'm a lawyer. Honestly I think he makes a lot more money than I do, although we've never sat down an actually hashed out the math. He had a Ferrari 360 for about a year, and the last repair bill coming in at $12K caused him to sell it with red mist in his eyes on ebay with no reserve. I didn't buy one because I knew I could never afford a $12K repair bill...........ever. But, with the Alfa, it's going to be under warranty for several years, and even when that runs out, I can't see repair costs on a little 1.75 litre car costing that much. Now, if they just made it in a manual, the Lotus wouldn't even be on my radar...........but it is.............................but the ones I can afford have no warranty, unless I buy it through the dealer, and we all know the Lotus history for build quality...................arrrrrggggggg.........................first world problems :)
Highway 1 is a great drive for an Italian exotic convertible. Given that I have a family, I drove that same bridge and Highway last Spring in my Maserati GranCabrio S, no where near as nimble as that ALFA, but the glorious V8 made up for it as did the rear seats for my youngest daughter in tow. Loved the sights and sounds of this video. Thanks Todd and Paul!
Can you please explain how your recording sound without the wind noise? If I mount my go pro on the windshield as you have done the wind noise is loud.
Guys? Can you move heaven and earth to review the new Tesla asap? I"m seriously thinking of taking out a second mortgage to pay for one but I have to have your review!!!
+RAY NL I know it is, but I just really want it and this is the only way I can make it happen. Chris Harris does something similar so at least I"m not going to be the only one in the looney bin :)
I realize this car has a carbon tub but are the handling characteristics (Since power is not it's main focus) really worth 2.5 Grand touring hardtop MX5s?
Years later…just looking at some old video…Miata is still much cheaper and still has a manual, both great things…4C still howls down the road requiring high driver skill and is perhaps the most engaging drive this side of a race car. They are not remotely comparable.
@@Victic005 hey, you can modify all you want, you can modify a 4C all you want as well. That’s cool. Buy what makes you happy. Most 4C spider owners could not give a hoot about the top but if that is important, definitely buy a Miata. Life can be short. Vacuum cleaner, sure if that’s what it reminds you of, definitely don’t get a 4C. I would never consider owning a Miata but have a 4C spider. If you are on the opposite end of that , cool. Have fun driving.
I hate seeing exotics being reviewed because there's no way I can ever buy one of these. I subscribed back when they used to review normal cars real people could afford.
72k is fairly common price for a car near me. So i can see this as being a really great deal for italian muscle. However, I agree with you. I rather more cars under 55k reviewed.
Everything is beautiful on the 4C, but I just can't get over the ultra-bland exhaust note of the four cylinder.....nor those microscopic things on the rims, they call tires....looks like something off a Prius.
Ricardo Ellison I love this car and if I had the money it would difficult to not buy however, I agree the exhaust could be improved and maybe a slightly larger displacement so it's less overboosted.
Blah, blah, fail to see how this is an everyday driver automobile. Put it in the city, in traffic, try to park it all over, on commute. That is an everyday driver. Extolling long winded over the top praise on long winding roads is not normal everyday behavior.
+aguilpa1 - We fully acknowledge this isn't a commuting or road-trip vehicle (we did both of those in our feature film that featured the 4C), but our show isn't about commuting. We're striving to help people find cars they'll enjoy "everyday" verses just commuting appliances. Ideally, a car that can do the things it has to do, but still inspire the driver to go drive for fun. I actually rewinded to 2:40 for a double take. I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me at first.
Now we wait for depreciation to do God's work.
Still waiting...
Still waiting. Its not a Boxster or Cayman.
Lol, I’m in that queue ahead of you, Bro 😂😅🤣

There's not that many of them out there. The FCA motor is not good.
Amazing fast car. Sometimes I can’t believe it only has 237hp
I'm envious of the car, and that hat! As a bald man myself, I completely understand. Oh, and great video, once again!
Oh that's such a nice gift for this thursday! Thank you!

the spyder is so good, rain gets inside when it's closed, had to proof it myself :(

+jorge vigil More like a LaFerrari.
+SICEM_Rex is 588gtb, look at it again... ... The La Ferrari can be seen at 02:42 ...
+jorge vigil wow good spot! It went by so quick that I missed it the first time around
+SICEM_Rex No.More like you have no idea
+jorge vigil fair enough, similar timestamps. My bad.
Can you please explain how your recording sound without the wind noise? If I mount my go pro on the windshield as you have done the wind noise is loud.
Best channel on UA-cam.
+TheNicklangridge - We consider that a huge compliment. Thank you!
Dat LaFerrari though

love that Ferrari 488 at 2:22
Ferrari 488 @2:20, La Ferrari @2:41, Ferrari F12 @4:34
4:34 California T actually! not an F12 ;)
I dig the hat man. Cheers
was that a grey La Ferrari passing??
who did you guys bribe to get PCH so clear? I've never seen it that devoid of traffic before.
what's up with the audio
a stingray, a california, and a laferrari just casually drove by!!
Was that LaFerrari passing by?
Rosso alfa or Rosso Competizione tri-coat which is the original paintwork
I realize this car has a carbon tub but are the handling characteristics (Since power is not it's main focus) really worth 2.5 Grand touring hardtop MX5s?
This is a very picky thing to say, so bear with me, but that radio is very tacky isn't it?
+Bruno Oliveira Yes it is. But that's not the point of the car; but at 72k, it should have something better like a Kenwood or a Bose.
Great car I want one but saying it’s faster than the Elise is not true. Well not with the variants we have In Europe.
That hat though!
2:42 La Ferrari, no mention...really?
Not one mention of the three Ferrari's that went by? Slackers.
Like these cars, but they look like a tight fit.

Such Beauty...Much Want...wow...
OK never mind, I wanted the coupe so badly...And now that I have seen the Spider, I think I MUST have it...
When U learn to drive this car, Who can follow U on dry payment European backroads then ???
895 kg dryweight whith real roof !! Please tell me !!
TK🇳🇴
nice hat

Watch how many Ferrari they pass. Even a LaFerarri where they hell are they at?
As soon as I saw the hat, I almost stopped watching ._.

And La Ferrari at 2:42

Thamks
2:22 Ferrari 488 gtb

LA FERRARI at 2:42
Hahaha this guy ranting at the van's driver for no reason .
this 4C spider looks like a Ferrari
Meh..nice car..still would rather have a Cayman
5th!
uhm, buying this small and nimble car and getting it in automatic is a sin. Just sayin'
Seriously, can't make the overlay in the corner go away. so f'n annoying, guess i'll watch on an ad-free platform
