Growing up in Canada I do remember All Saints getting a fair amount of airplay, this could be because the two sisters were born in Canada and they must of considered it Canadian Content. All Saints is so under rated.

You should look after her performances from latest years, since they return as a band in 2016 with the album Red Flag, and in 2018 with Testament. And an interesting thing is that, as far as I know, vocal arrangements is always credited to Shaznay in the albums. But harmonies have always been natural for them, as they are friends for decades.

BUT not yet with the sisters Nicole and Natalie Appleton, the main/lead singers name is Simone Rainford who unfortunately died in 2013 when Mel blatt was on X factor New Zealand as a judge… Shaznay and Mel Blatt were basically back up dancers to Simone in the first song and you will see and hear why when you listen…. but Simone left the music industry not wanting to ever be corrupted by fame.. as fame was a curse in her mind…
I'd love you to look at Boney M preformces, particularly the live ones with Marcia Barrett singing in the lead. Her singing of Belfast are the best of their live preformces.
Shaz has such a unique style, if you listen to any of her lines, on all of their songs. I feel like she’ll sing the line, maybe plainly or maybe rhythmic/staccato, then the final bit she’ll do this vibrato that’s sooo smooth. I don’t know how to explain it. But I have to partially thank Shaznay for teaching me to sing as a kid lol. It’s like this vibrato like that’s like a gunshot…
At the end when she says “you can tell it to my FACE; you can tell me on the PHONE. Ooh, you can write it in a letter BABE, cause I really need to KNOW,” her vibrato on those words is part of All Saints sound overall…

Wow! First I've dropped in and Wow!, You only copied that they sang and I have to say that was practically perfect! I haven t heard many vocal coaches that can carry a tune as well as you did.

It's incredible how easy human been can be cheated.... You are a profesional of singing and music....? They have a backing track that sounds very tiny but enough to fool.people like you. Those tracks you would like to be to understand what you are hearing are this backing track . The problem i's the hearing. If you don't hear the backing track you are ko able to react anything related with music. In fact in all live shows they've made you can hear this backing track.. and they, not all of them, sing above this tiny backing track. There are not 4 human beens able to sound like 8. Girl you are not able to react anything belated with music

I disagree with you on the group Fashion and dance move, the dance move were a bit WTF and terrible 😣, it’s like watching your grandma trying to be hip and cool and thinking this is cool when it’s so embarrassing and that your embarrassed to be seen with her. The dance move were awful, the clothes were awful too they look like they’re homeless and the fashion sense was definitely not unique because TLC, Cleopatra, Brandy, the Brownstone, and Aaliyah dressed like that but they’re look and music is way better than All saints. As I mentioned before All saints chart success and popularity at the time was mainly because most members all but one of the members were white and a bunch white people brought their record, it had nothing to do with their mediocre, unremarkable, forgettable (and in today standards) dated music, something that both of the group founding members and manger acknowledged and agreed on. And due to fact that their original member called Simone Rainford who was a woman of colour dressed like this, was best vocalist of the entire group (who were then know as All saints 1.9.7.5.) and their records were hardly selling when she was there. This was a bit ok but at same time it was very mediocre musically, the record sounds better than them singing live. (Usually most singers sound much better live but for whatever reason All saints are one of the very few musical acts that I know of and most people know of that sound better on their records than their live performances.) Although on the positive note 📝 I do agree on your thoughts with Shazney she really was giving it her all as she always does.
At the end their harmonies were fire ! They were all feeding off each other's energy and going with it! So organic and beautiful.
